Before: Davidson in a stiff test--Kreuk not much of a puncher, but silky smooth and WB schooled--she knows how to take girls like Amy apart. “I’m looking forward to it,” Kristin tells Emily Francis on the WB morning show out of New York. “Amy’s a comer--she’s a game kid and that’s great for me. I can always look awesome against walk-in girls who think they can bully me--I’m just gonna bust Davidson up!” Amy knowledge her skills deficit, but undaunted. “Look--if Dani Fishel had given up every time a classy boxer came up, she’d never have gotten out of the blocks. I realize I’m probably going to lose some rounds, but I know what to do on Kristin anfd I’m going to do it. She Can’t hide for 10 rounds--sooner or later I’m going to ask ‘the question’ of her chin and I don’t think she’s gonna like the answer!”

Kreuk in blacl sports bra, red high waist aerobic trunks, white shoes and socks-=-Davidson in green sports bra, green boy cut trunks with drawstring, bloack shoes.white socks--small grabby-gloves for both.

During r1: Davidson the bull--Kristin the matador. Kreuk fading back, but getting off first, impaling Amy on the jab, sidestepping. First two minutes light punching from Kreuk--just making contact, preventing Davidson from getting off. Kris with tidy shoeshine type combos--pop-pop-pop then she’s turning at the ropes, luring Amy forward. Down thee stretch--Kris opens up a little--bat-batting straight arm hooks to the body, sweeping hook to ear and finishing with a straight right hand, back foot turning over sweetly as Davidson’s face spanks back from the blow. Amy D on her heels, blinking, finally stunned--hard smule of satisfaction Kreuk as she goes bell to bell unscathed.

R2: Similar stuff--Kreuk being first with her jab, systematically going to work on Amy D’s eyes. Kris fading beautifully, fighting well in reverse--she’s walking Davidson into brisk shoeshines and scrubbing facials. Turning at the ropes and stringing redhead along. Davidson on the board late with a pair of loud hooks against Kreuk’s ribs to avoid the shutout.

R3: Consistent Kris--just getting her touches, being busy, fading, sidestepping and avoiding Davidson’s bluster. Amy exposed on mammy fronts: she’s not cutting off the ring; she’s not punching-with, just waiting her turn; footwork not effective as she’s never in position to punch. Davidson taking a good shot--Kris not really hurting Amy at any one time, but the constant scrub to the face and choice body shots visibly scuffing Amy D up.

R4: Davidson having a moment early--putting Kreuk’s back to the ropes and belting away wide right/lefts to the waist--brunette immediately clinching with a serious frown on her face. Amy unable to capitalize--Kreuk retaking midring behind her jab, then sidestepping, gently turning Amy and luring her into scouring combinations. Davidson’s tummy andf chin starting to go on sale: redhead a little bedraggled, taking a TON of ran-drop shots as Kreuk keeps a-lathering. Kris finishes up with a TORRID flurry to the breadbasket, buckling Amy’s knees and drawing a moist groan from Davidson.; Amy reaches to clinch--Kreuk deftly takes a handful of waistband, tugs forward, pivots to spin Amy around and pushes her off to send Davidson staggering into the ropes at the bell.

R5: Kris at play--tidying Amy up--jabs setting up putty-pat combos up and down her foe’s punished chassis. Kris getting lead right hands on the chin and smiling grimly as Davidson can’t answer--brunette’s tempo just too hard for Amy to figure out. Kreuk making things even more difficult with timely trunk tugging--reaching to grab the waistband of Amy’s bottoms, pulling her forward, bumping her off with the shoulder, turning and slinging her. Davidson whining and ref warning: Kreuk hard-eyed as she steps up the workrate.

R6: Crowd buzzing--Beating of the Year in the making as Kreuk keeps racking up points, whittling and chiseling at Davidson. Constant pecking damage has Davidson busted up around both eyes, cut in the mouth. Amy’s body bearing up well, but struggling--Kreuk’s most committed punch probably the hook to the liver or scooping right to the solar plexus. Kreuk smiling almost constantly now, dark eyes glittering with growing dominance: she’s winning this fight big and both girls know it.

R7: Kristin Kreuk HEAPS it on. Trunk tugging frustrating Amy, putting her off balance. Jabs busting her up, ruining her timing and thought process. Scraping, chiseling combinations pinging off the face or patting at the ribcage. Davidson plunging forward through it all, just trying to get to Kreuk’s chest. Final moments--Kreuk fades and walks Amy into a tidy check-hook on the ear, slides left and picks up Amy’s chin a clanging left uppercut. Davidson’s knees bend--she falters face first into the ropes as Kreuk sidesteps--big smile Kreuk as she has Amy ready to go after 7. After the bell: CHEAP FLYWEIGHT ELBOW! Kris scooting in from the side and depositing the tip of her elbow deep and cruel to Amy’s tummy--Davidson shouting out and folding up--ref whirls late to the party as Kreuk breezes past--shaking hair off her shiny, happy face.

R8: Kris Kreuk goes for it. Amy hurting, grimacing--now she’s finally backing up as Kreuk pins her ears back, Kris baring her teeth, back foot turning over as she heaves right hands, left foot twisting as she cranks hooks--just pulling shellack onto wilting Amy. Davidson crossing her arms, bleak at the ropes--punches now pelting down in sheets, bouncing off her face and shoulders, spanking off her waist. Amy beaten in a drowsy path along the ropes--crowd screaming every time her chin is clipped clean: it seems she MUST go any moment! Kreuk screeching with effort, falling in occasionally, then shoving her way clear: as she’s hitting Davidson with lusty uppercuts, hooks and crosses--wobbling redhead butt, but not putting it on the canvas. Tough to watch, little Amy Davidson beaten pillar to post in the most vicious punching round of Kristin Kreuk’s career, but BSE ingénue won’t go. Kreuk finishes up with a chugging flurry of lefts and rights up into Amy’s body as Davidson crumples forward elbows in. Bell--Kreuk is hauled off, chest heaving, eyes flashing in frustration--Davidson tragically beat down, vibrating on her stool. Trainer’ seene enough telling Amy he’s proud of her, turning to wave it off, but groggy Davidson won’t have it. “Lemme f’nish” Amy slurs through fat lips.

R9: Kreuk arm weary, but still hogging all the points: she won’t part with even one round tonight. Kris hanging back with her jab--tapping it out on Amy’s swollen face, falling off to the side. Kreuk occasionally helping herself to sternum with right hands as Amy walks in, but basically it’s a stick and move 9^th.

R10: Kris out to complete the no-hitter--jabbing, smirking, outclassing Amy D,. Poor Davidson trudging forward, hands at her chest, face getting wetly spanked when she somehow times a right hand over Kristin’s jab for the first time all night and jams bluntly to brunette’s chin. Kreuk startled, enraged, answering back a furious right to the chin--both girls back with hooks and DOWN GOES KREUK! Amy staggering back on her heels in wonder--Kris all laid out, eyelashes fluttering, legs stiff and straight ass she tries to roll onto her left hip but CAN’T!!! Good lord--KO10 via hail Mary Amy Davidson.

After: Battered Davidson swamped by her corner men as Kris keeps making pathetic attempts to turn over. Tear up the ballots for comeback of the year--Amy on the receiving end of one of the few 10-0 routs of the past 12 months ends Kristin’s night in heartbreaking fashion. “I knew I’d lose some rounds,” winces Amy in post fight, “but that was RIDICULOUS! She burned up a lot of energy trying to take me out in the 8^th, and I think that gave me a chance to get to her at last. The only time I was hurt was in the 8^th, but that ended up costing her the fight, so I guess it was worth it. Even through the worst of it, I never gave up trying. I just knew if I could find her chin, I could get her out of there!”
