BEFORE: "Liz Rohm had a respected brand," Business-savvy Rowland says at podium. "But you don't see her out there competing hard anymore. Full time writer, part time fighter, you know what I'm saying? So I'm respecting her coming in - I know what she can do, but realistically? Just between you guys and me? I'ma blow this girl's doors off. Kelly Rowland does not take blonde prisoners. I'm in the blonde-bustin' business, and fellahs: business is a-BOOMIN'!"

Rohm with cool, pursed-lip contempt for Kelly: she's icy in rebuttal. "Kelly's right in one respect," Lis allows. "I haven't been all that active. I needed rounds, so we looked around for someone physical, but beatable; skilled, but stupid...a girl with pride enough to go rounds, but lacking the heart to go the distance. Kelly was the perfect fit. My doors are staying on, but you? You better buckle-up."

Kelly in bright yellow bikini; black gloves. Lis in baby blue bikini; white gloves; hair back in twisty beach bun with strand-bangs bracketing cheeks.

During R1: Lis: pawing with left hand - her fingertips brushing Kelly's defences, then; leaning into pulverizing, short right hands up the middle, getting her back and shoulder behind 'em. Kelly: hands chest high; torso tic-toc weaving side to side; feet nimble, shifting her around Lis in quick steps and pivots. Intriguing cat and mouse: Rohm's thumping power up the middle scattering Kelly, forcing her to leg around for angles. Rowland stooping to jab blonde gut; feinting; always looking for what's open on Lis. Rohm the aggressor - walking Kelly down, but unable to cut off the ring on agile opponent in the first.

R2: Similar stuff: Rohm flat footed, stalking behind that pawing/open left hand, then staking all on pulverizing short rights; Rowland using her legs, giving angles/changing distance, trying to loosen Rohm up, coax her into gambling. Some tasty work done on Rohm's paunch via Kelly's pesky left jab and cuffing hook-and-pivot routines, but blonde-girl's the obvious aggressor, hunting her foe down for more points.

R3: Liz finally parking that booming right hand in the center of Kelly's chest: Rowland knocked backwards, lips parting in shock. Lis follows up brawny: another straight right hand driving through to chin, knocking Kelly's head back; hook that misses, but a third stamping right to chest that sends Kelly reeling to ropes...blonde girl able to set up Big and get to work. Rohm: chin tucked; shoulders hunched; hands held knuckled-touching at her chest in crouch, then she's thumping away - big ripping lefts and rights to the Rowland waistline. Kelly in a bady way, grimacing prettily as she's belting butt-back into ropes...she absorbs, then ties up - desperate to slow Elisabeth's assault. Steady work for Rohm - pushing and writhing her way clear of Rowland's clinches; hammering the body, then coming up-top via hopeful uppercuts, looking for the off-switch. Bad 3 minutes for Kelly - she takes a terrific beating, but curvy legs serve her well; she's able to do just enough defensively to survive intense blonde bombardment. Bell: glacial look Rohm to wincing Rowland...Lis breathing hard, walking back to corner hands on hips.

R4: Kelly's still got legs - a testament to her conditioning...she's once again elusive, stepping to her right to walk around Rohm's left flank at the open. Kelly making darting penetrations to stab-jab gut or jug, then bounce out of range...Rohm frowning, frustrated at her foe's resilience. Minute mark - girls exchanging stiff rights and lefts...Kelly scrubs at Rohm's mouth while blonde girl just misses and LIS GOES DOWN! Sudden power-outage in Rohm's knees puts her on all fours...blue eyes wide with shock as Rowland jogs to neutral corner. Rohm up blinking, buzzed: she organizes at apron, forming sturdy earmuff to await a Rowland's assault. CLAMBAKE! Kelly squares up, thumping 3 punch combos body/body/head off Lis, trying to break down the guard: Rohm staying sturdy, then answering back single-shot shockers with the right hand - hoping to poke Kelly on her chin. Entertaining stuff - Lis being raked by punches, but taking them well; the odd right hand pounding at Kelly's chest or face to some effect, providing suspense as Rowland romps to a 10-8 fourth.

R5: Lis stalking behind that open-mitt pawing left hand, right fist clenched tight at her chin...Kelly circling, feinting - left at her hip/right at her chest. Minute mark - Rohm over-reaches with her left: Kelly pulls the right hand out of her front pocket - chopping it down across Rohm's chin...BLONDE GIRL STEPPING IN FENCE POST HOLES! Rohm staring, stumbling around...Kelly circles-left into attack position, just to Rohm's right. Batting sidearm right takes Lis heavily to gut; hacking left chops Rohm's right ear; tidy-clouting right swipes across her mouth; clipping left uppercut picks up her chin. Rohm staring, stumbling back on her heels in astonishment...she hits ropes in a fog, completely disorganized as Rowland's hopping-to. Kelly: stooping low-and-close, carrying her right hand DEEP to the pit of blonde paunch...Rohm grunting "UH-H!" face pinched as torso pitches forward. Kelly: snatches left hook in behind Rohm's right elbow; dips torso-right for angle on Rohm's left flank - touching it a stiff right hand. Dipping torso-left, Kelly sets, delivers a short hesitation left uppercut bingo on the chin...BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Rohm switched off at the knees, imploding down onto her haunches as she sprawls back into ropes. Rowland prancing away all grins as poor Lis swoons on the spot - tragically pushing her knuckles into canvas in an effort to get her buns off her ankles but it's no go! KO5 Kelly Rowland as Lis Rohm's awake, but leg-numbed for 10.

After: Rust apparent as Lis can't consolidate her early lead...Kelly looking sharp in comparison. "She basically has a right hand left," Rowland chirps in postfight. "That's pretty much it: one hand's not enough to beat Kelly Rowland. Her problem was that she was in with too much girl, you know what I'm saying? I'm a girl gets girls beat - that's what I am."

One notable detractor pretty vocal about Kelly on twitter...NAOMIE HARRIS (Moneypenny in Skyfall) posting: "When will Rowland face tru comp? That's the question." So, a Rowland skeptic would be Naomie Harris then.
