BEFORE: Kat intense, frosty, but civil in prefight - electing to shake Hayden's hand rather than slap her face when there's a choice. "I'm pouncing all over Hayden in this one," Kat affirms aggressively at podium. "I'm buried at flyweight - it's really hard to get spotlight of your own, but one good way is to hand Hayden a beating, so that's what I intend to do. You look at tramps like Cassie Scerbo - who was she before she knocked out Hayden? Little miss Nobody from Nowhere's Ville. One punch can lift me out of the pack and make me a star...and I'm determined to make it happen!"

Bell: feisty vixens going at each other hot...ref forced to pull Hayden away as tempers flare early.

R2: Kat jab-jabbing, right hand at her chin as she crouches close; hooks palm-down over the top, scoring to cheek; beats Hayd to stubby right hands in close to chin. Blonde girl getting rung up in crisp, clipping exchanges...Kat's got Hayden on her heels early. Panettiere scooting to regroup, but finding Graham's dancer's legs hard to shake...Kat able to pursue-and-pounce effectively, driving Hayden to ropes, there to lather her until Panny can tie up. Kat SO determined: eyes all fired up as she steps after Hayden, then works on her. Bell: Kat forcing bruising eye contact, reinforcing the fact that Graham just went bell to bell on the Foxfire Flagship.

R3: Hayden told to up tempo during the break: she comes out stubby-jabbing from bobbing crouches; hopping into stout little hooks; turning into short right hands...Kat getting pasted, forced to scamper with Hayden in hot pursuit! Vengeful blonde girl bringing the fight to Graham all around the ring...nothing Kat can do, to catch her breath. Constant scouring - Hayden's whirling palm-down mitts nagging at Kat's flanks/ribs; when it's time to hurt Kat, Hayden hops in close with hooks, or jams short right hands to chin, buckling Kat's knees. Bell: Kat staring, disheveled...Hayden's turn to make aggressive eye-contact as she repays the bell to bell ass-kicking in kind.

R4: Kat DIGGING to Hayden's ribcage - dipping the left shoulder/ripping left uppercuts into blonde torso...Panettiere's own punches visibly losing steam as Graham does damage. Blonde girl forced to disengage/regroup...Hayden fighting a series of clever rear-guard engagements as she issues check-jabs in retreat, walks Kat into stubby little right hands, then ties her up. Graham anxious to pursue and pile on, but getting pre-empted...Hayden able to stabilize, denying Kat a clean roll-up attempt through 4. Bell: camera zooms in on Hayden's ribs and tummy - showing the bright pink punishment there!

R5: Kat digging hooks and left uppercuts to body again, visibly slowing/cramping Hayden up. Blonde girl grouchy, wincing...Kat able to initiate turning battle midring, circling clockwise around nifty jabs and hooks, working on Hayden's face. Blonde pouting, looking harassed...Hayden following Kat round, getting her face spanked, covering up only to be hooked viciously to rightside lats. Graham very intense throughout, concentrating on busting Hayden up and keeping her hurt to the body. Bell: SMOULDERING eye contact Kat to Hayden...Graham giving Panny a bell to bell beating Hayden won't soon forget.

R6: Bitter, ringing toe-to-toe trading as Hayden fights desperately to retake the initiative; Kat fighting savagely to retain it. Both girls viciously digging up into offending torso off the lead (left) plant leg; raking the flanks via whirling palm-down lefts or rights. 2 minutes of non-stop punching finally goes Hayden's way when a looping overhand right clips across Kat's chin, putting her wobbly-butt and staggering her on the spot. Kat hurt, covering up earmuff: Hayden DIGS left hooks to liver, gouging in behind Kat's right elbow. Graham sobbing into her guard, backing her butt into ropes...Hayden stepping-with, cuffing Kat's right ear the hook, then BURYING that hook in behind right elbow, searching for the quit in Kat. Graham in tears during the break, but refusing to punk...she's a determined vixen through 6.

R7: Hayden on Kat, all around the ring. Graham melting along the ropes, showing crossed arm and earmuff fronts - catching a withering assortment of punches head and body. Hayden in high-spirits, punching frisky off that lead (left) plant leg, twisting her stocky torso into romping roundhouse rights/swinging left hooks...it's her party and she'll punch if she wants to. Down the stretch, Kat sliding sullen along ropes, bruised and tender from non-stop Hayden when all of a sudden, BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Graham timing a peach of a right hand, chopping it to jaw as Hayden's prepping her own right...blonde's back (right) leg gives way, spilling her awkwardly to all fours, facing into ropes. Just like that, snarling Kat steals a round 10-8, getting the answer knockdown and tightening up the cards on Hayden through 7!

R8: "Hup-Hup" Hayden shakes off the setback, gets right back to work - handing Kat a dreadful beating at ropes. It's Hayden at her most persistent and kinetic - brawny little body crouching or rising up onto toes, twisting into punches, scooting in and out on a vexed and weary Graham. One swinging sidearm right clouts across Kat's mouth, turning her head aside and ejecting her mouth piece; succulent, digging hooks wedge in behind right elbow, sitting Kat hurt in ropes; batting, straight-arm right hands beat at the left flank as Kat cringes, laying over on her right side. It's a rip-roaring Hayden Panettiere shutout, but Kat's curvy legs hold her up...blonde girl huffing and puffing at Graham's front door, but can't blow Kat's house down just yet.

R9: Hayden attacking aggressively...maybe TOO aggressively - lunging for Kat with punches from the pockets, trying to stop her at ropes. Graham calm in the pocket, blocking and rolling the incoming haymakers; finding spots to place choppy right hands onto Hayden's jawline as blonde girl's jumping in...PANETTIERE'S WOBBLED! Hayden hurt half way through, stumbling right-shoulder-first into ropes...Kat spins off ropes, assumes top position, goes pate-to-pate and starts chewing Hayden up. Kat pumpin' hup-hup-hup to Hayden - bumping that belly; chugging up into those breasts...Kat just pursing her lips and working her hardest to treat Hayden shabby. Panettiere butt in ropes, forced to soak up a pummeling as she leans forward and digs back in spots. Bell: Kat won't let up, forcing ref to pull her off and give her a good hard shake.

R10: Girls get pate to pate midring: both know it's close; both elect no-frills work ethic to get the decision. Honest hup-hup-hup underneath as girls hustle small mitts into pain-wracked tummies and throbbing ribs. Chippy little right uppercuts kiss off stubborn chins as the girls grind hairlines...each taking the other's power and answering back hot before judges can make any assumptions. Furious give and take gradually gives way to steady Panettiere advances...Kat hurting, mouthbreathing, starting to fall off the pace as Hayden keeps shoveling coal into the ol' boiler. Panny strong at the bell, beating Kat right/left to gut; jerking 2 quick right uppercuts to chin in close, then as Kat staggers back in confusion, a pair of stamping, stubby right hands to mouth, knocking Graham spellbound to ropes. Bell sounds before Hayden can pile in to apply polish...comes back UD10 draw...both girls immediately and eagerly demand overtime satisfaction.

R11: Hayden jumping into a crushing lead hook early, buckling Kat's knees/sending her reeling backwards to ropes...blonde girl pouncing to finish, but Graham firming - it's savage bump-and-slug to the finish line. Girls just laying in cheek to cheek/mouth on shoulder - shoving left hooks to trembling tummies; chopping vicious right hands in above offending left hips. Hayden's on top at ropes, so she's getting the better leverage - often pushing Kat into ropes to reset on her brawny, but Graham never wilting, always competing to bell.

R12: Bitter hammer and tongs continues...Hayden will strafe Kat a stubby one-two; Graham will come back via raking hooks, taking Hayden across throbbing ribs or tummy; Hayden will shut that down with hooks, then punish Kat's breasts via swiping right. Back and forth, stout fights with small mitts punish and beat one another's torsos...gradually, the intensity gets to Kat's legs, forcing her to retreat into ropes for support. Hayden senses the finish line - pushing in mouth-on-shoulder to make it all about shoulders and tummies in close...blonde girl pumping and grinding, staying atop her tiger-striped foe at ropes for a close-fought, but decisive UD12 win.

After: Panny tested, beaten pink and sore by a determined foe tonight...classy blonde has a hug and words of encouragement for a downcast Kat Graham in immediate aftermath. "I just told her that she fought harder than Brenda Song or Vanessa Hudgens tonight, and she prolly would've beaten those girls," Hayden says in postfight, looking scrubbed and scuffed, but upbeat. "You know, beneath the top 5 spots or so at flyweight, there are just a TON of girls like Kat - so much fighting spirit and talent...you just can't ever come in lazy against anyone. When she knocked me down, it was like 'whoa - this is a real fight', you know? A real wake up call. After that, I had to buckle down and work my hardest, because we really had no clue if I had the points I needed. I'm not surprised it went to overtime...Kat Graham was a girl on a mission tonight. I knew it would take an extraordinary effort to beat her!"
