BBU CHRISTMAS SPECIAL PPV

(Girls Friday  vs PageThrees, Debut)

The chants following Geri Halliwell's emphatic victory over Natalie Imbruglia haven't calmed down yet when two more flyweights enter the KO Club ring, seeking their maiden BBU victory. PageThrees' Clair Meek in fact makes her debut tonight after some busy time in private life. She signed for PageThrees almost a year ago however was recovering from giving birth to a baby boy and subsequently got married just last month. But now she's finally ready to make her debut and some experts give her a strong chance of victory.

That's because her rival is Louisa Lytton (Girls Friday) who lost all her four BBU bouts to date including a first round hammering at the hands of Meek's stablemate Jessica Jane Clement and more recently, an epic ass-kicking defeat during Chelsee Healey's Triple Crown event. With Roxanne Pallett, Pooja Shah and Georgie Thompson all winning their maiden fights in recent weeks, Lytton has been demoted to the bottom of the flyweight pecking order with Louise Redknapp looking equally hapless right now. If Lytton cannot handle a newcomer of Meek's calliber, she's destined for a nightmare career in BBU according to media expert Denise van Outen.

Lytton comes to the ring first with Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way" supporting her task, but that really sounds somewhat flamboyant as her record indicates she hasn't found a way around BBU yet. Wearing a sizzling red bikini outfit with black stripes and black gloves she at least gives the crowd something to look at though. Long hair, dyed raven-black in loose waves around her pretty face.

But here comes Meek and the rookie looks fired up with Uriah Heep's "Lady In Black" literally lifting the roof! Indeed, Meek is all black here, with fitting bikini set and gloves and the long, straight hair is dark as a December night, even more black than Lytton's own shade. Andrea Corr would be jealous of that color! The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Rounds 1 & 2:
After some fireworks in the Halliwell/Imbruglia fight and the Uriah Heep entrance this one is slow to start for a change with neither girl showing much confidence. Meek takes it extra cautious on her debut while the loss to Jessica Jane Clement must be playing on Lytton's mind as she checks if she's up against another raven-haired PageThrees devil. Both girls throw single punches and lack any combinations to put some pressure on each other with the some people in the crowd taking an opportunity to visit the bar for the first time today.

Meek shows some bravery in the second as she whips a double combo on Lytton's face and the actress responds with some hooks to the face herself but lacks precision and quite frankly both girls are struggling to land any leather. Louisa looks to get rid of the jobber reputation, so perhaps it's no surprise she's finding it tough to succeed even against a rookie but Clair doesn't punish her whatsoever.

Rounds 3 & 4:
Lytton finally puts some pressure on the Scottish gal as she cracks a big left early in the third and snaps Clair's head back; works some low jabs to the stomach and has Meek circling away. Follow up comes short though as Louisa's footwork lets her down and she can't reach after Meek who is happy just to wander around the ring. More agressive leaps from Lytton but she only grazes the flesh and looks annoyed before Clair finally decides she's come to Barnet for some boxing and catches the actress off guard with a jabbing combo to the ribs but a left hook over the top nails her on the eye as Lytton breaks through her mitts and lands more shots to the nose which make the Scottish glamour model wince in pain. Lytton opens up from both flanks and bashes her foe to the body until the bell. Same thing in the fourth, Louisa realizes she's not really threatened here and whips several shots around the elbows with Clair desperate in her defence but still getting laced repeatedly. She counters with couple of hooks to the head but skims off the gloves and Lytton closes her down, pushes back to the ropes with more jabbing to the midsection and Meek can only clinch but Louisa works on her ribcage and wins two rounds on the spin as Clair looks worryingly cumbersome on her debut.

Round 5:
Lytton wishes she fought Meek before as she storms out of her stool and whacks her on the temple with her first shot, finds a right hand on the chest, another left on the eye and Clair yelps in pain, loses her footing and gets helped onto the canvas with a right uppercut on the chin. DOWN GOES MEEK ON HER KNEES.. The Scottish gal almost fights back the tears in wake of that Lytton combo but gets up at six only to see Louise go after her with more hooks to the head. Desperate footwork from the model and Louisa gets over her head somewhat, fails to catch her with a flying left and tumbles forward, but fortunately lands on the ropes and quickly turns back to see where Meek escaped. Big right out of nowhere lands on her eye and Lytton's hair flies back as the actress leans on the ropes with Clair bashing her to the face with double hooking combo.. LYTTON SLIDES DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE... How crazy was that, Louisa never saw that coming and looks shell-shocked while scrambling back to her feet at seven. Clair with more agression out of nowhere and they tangle along the ropes, trading heavy leather with Meek finding another right on the eye and sinking Lytton on her knees as bell comes to the actresses rescue. Crowd has come alive again after that exciting round.

Rounds 6 & 7:
Both girls scored a knockdown in the fifth but that only made them even more cautious than at the start of the fight. Louisa checks a lump under her left eye on a frequent basis and indeed that seems to be growing bigger as time goes by with Meek somewhat red on her face but keeping her guard in tact. Back to single punching and circling around the ring and the crowd calms down again. Lytton comes with more agression in the seventh and finds her target around Clair's elbows to punish her ribcage but gets rocked with a big uppercut on the chin and drops her mean ideas. Clair still looking fine after seven rounds but she's lost two earlier and must be behind on the scorecards unless some of the judges are Uriah Heep fans.

Round 8:
Meek with a quick leap from the bell and whether she's aware she needs to some something here very soon or does she just want to find that one haymaker to put Lytton away is debatable but Louisa seemingly thought the low-key pace of the fight will last for three more rounds. She couldn't have been more wrong and Clair cuts through her guard and lands a straight right on the lump which snaps Louisa's head back as well and Meek cleans out her stomach with a chaotic but effective jabbing. Lytton is very much hittable and she misses her response with Clair slipping under her arms and nailing her on the ribs as both girls find themselves on the ropes moments later. Lytton looks angry, misses another hook over the top and Meek whacks her on the navel, follows up with an uppercut to the jaw and Louisa moans in pain, tries to clinch but Clair bounces off her rack, lands another left on the cheek, right on the temple and Lytton is rocked on her feet, takes another left on the stomach and seems in real pain but just before the bell Meek cuts her up on the right cheek with a jabbing combo and that literally came out of the blue with Meek pounding Lytton without much response and some judges might give it 10-8 for the Scottish model here to bring here right back on par with the English actress.

Round 9:
Lytton's pride has taken a similar blow to her body as the English girl's face looks much worse of the two with a huge lump under her left eye and a cut on the right cheek. Her face has also developed a reddish shade while Clair seemingly catches a second breath and quite frankly she hasn't been much roughed up ever since the fifth. Louisa jumps after her and seeks revenge but allows the Scottish gal to slip under her slow executed hooks and nail her on the ribcage again. Duck and weave approach from Clair but she seems much fresher late in the going and beats Lytton's footwork with ease. Louisa fails to close her down and looks really helpless in the ring with Meek hopping around her and landing crips jabs around the elbows. Lytton has some breathing trouble in the final minute and she's visibly tired with Meek snapping her head back with a fine hooking combo just before the bell and my oh my, Louisa just slumps on her knees after the bell with Clair giving her a long look before going back to her stool. Lytton's only been once this far in her BBU career and has severe problems with fitness and stamina while for Meek, giving birth to a child seems to have worked wonders. She might not have a big punch and looks if she couldn't hurt a fly, but she's ready for much more then just ten rounds in the ring.

Round 10:
Louisa firmly had the plug pulled out of her and she's got nothing in the last round as Clair continues to make her looks very silly and the crowd has noticed that too with loud cheers supporting every shot landed on the English girl's body. Lytton can't find anything in response, sways around the ring in the first minute but Meek eventually pushes her back to the ropes with some punches to the chest and poor Louisa just sinks on her knees, covers up her face to protect those lumps and bruises but that doesn't prevent Meek from bashing her to the ribcage and the moans and yelps of pain seem neverending as Louise looks to avoid a late knockout, One-way traffic continues in the final minute with Clair pounding the living daylights out of the hapless Lytton and it's eventually too much for the English brunette as SHE CRUMBLES ON HER KNEES just seconds before the bell and bursts into tears with the crowd errupting in joy. Ref checks the clock and escorts Meek back to the neutral corner but where is the count? Time expires before he's ready to take action and the fight is over but not because of a late stoppage or KO!!! Lytton is left shattered on her knees but goes the distance for the first time since over a year and Clair doesn't mind this controversial finish as the man in charge obviously wasn't an Uriah Heep fan. Or did he just feel sorry for Louisa whose face is a total mess, the tears further underline all the lumps and bruises and the verdict is almost too easy to call...

After ten round of boxing we go to the scorecards.. Judges score the bout 97-95, 97-94 and 97-94 all for you winner through unanimous decision... CLAIR MEEK!!!

Post-fight:
After her hand is raised in the air, Clair finally flashes a smile as she looked very nervous before her debut but for no reason. Louisa Lytton is still a long way from shrugging off that jobber image and one might expect Denise van Outen and BBU TV to call for her clash with Louise Redknapp really soon.

Head down, Lytton just stares at the canvas with the raven black hair covering her face and no doubt, that was a humiliating experience for the English actress. Meek offers her a warm hug, quite a cheeky move after she bashed her face into a pulp but seems genuinely happy rather then willing to enforce any extra insults. Of course that was only Louisa Lytton she faced on her debut, but the stamina and stubborness in the ring she showed today might still earn her more success in the future.

Final result: Clair Meek def. Louisa Lytton UD10.
