More Aussie action in the BBU Christmas Special with veteran AWUBA super bantamweight champion Dannii Minogue making her comeback to Barnet after splitting a pair of fights with Spice Girls' members Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell. Minogue absolutely destroyed Bunton back in March but was avenged by Halliwell in September and now faces another member of the music industry, the FCBA experienced Hannah Spearritt who lost to Halliwell herself last year and was demolished by Heidi Range in her most recent outing to cause some shock waves within BBU. If the lanky blonde can't handle a woman like Minogue, who despite her best efforts isn't getting any younger, then it might spark the end of Hannah's elite days in the business.

Round 1:
Minogue rips into the blonde girl's tummy, slams her across the ribs and ducks under a hooking response, keeps cleaning out her midsection and pushes back with an impressive flurry of punches. Spearritt tries to catch the older rival on the head but swings wildly and misses; is forced to step back to the ropes with Minogue working on her ribcage with great efficiency but a jabbing combo finally lands on Dannii's cheeks and Hannah strikes over the top, wobbles the redhead and manages to sidestep and circle back to center of the ring. Minogue leaps after her but misses her hooks and eats couple of more jabs before the bell which salvage the blonde's pride.

Round 2:
Hannah on the move early, visibly eager to put some pressure on the older rival but she crashes off the forearms targeting the ribcage, goes over the head with a wayward jabbing and Dannii nicks in to the midsection herself, peppers the chest and flicks a fine uppercut to the jaw, bending the blonde forward. Spearritt covers up with Minogue lashing out at her ribs and pushing back, left hook splits the mitts and lands on the mouth, another right slams across the cheek and the crowd gasps in excitement as the blonde falls on the ropes and looks stunned. Dannii rips through her arms, bounces off the rack, whacks her on the ribs and finds another uppercut on the jaw with Hannah eating leating on the ropes until a late clinch stops the Aussie singer's rout but Dannii makes some mean gestures after the bell and looks full of confidence here.

Round 3:
Quick surge from Spearritt, she bashes Minogue on the head with couple of fine hooks but gets laced on the ribs with a low response, misses another high attempt and Dannii just punishes her to the body, slaps across the tummy and whips another uppercut on the chinl that combo still finds no resistance from the blonde singer. Leather trade-off in the middle of the ring follows but Minogue's ribcage attack is far suprior to Hannah's chaotic jabbing on the head; the blonde struggles to stretch her limbs against a smaller opponent and fails to make use of her reach advantage with Dannii jabbing to the ribs and chest, finally forcing Spearritt back to circle around the ropes and wait for the bell. It's turning into a very frustrating afternoon for the blonde English girl and she shakes her head in disgust during the interval.

Round 4:
Minogue comes out swinging again, laces the blonde on the ribs, uppercuts to the chest and beats her foe with a left hook on the temple as Hannah tried to counter with a similar punch but got tagged and wobbled back to the ropes. Flurry of shots from Dannii sink her on the knees, the veeteran AWUBA champ slams her on the ribcage and jabs to the body, literally buries the younger singer on the ropes, rocks her back and forth with some hooks on the cheeks, pierces the mitts time and time again before a right hook on the jaw sends Hannah bend to the side. Blonde wraps her arm around the rope to avoid getting down but a double hooking combo nails her on the nose and SPEARRITT GOES DOWN ON HER KNEES!!! Minogue struts back to neutral corner while the blonde tries to get up; beats the count at seven but her face is bruised already and flashing red colors. She shakes her head and steps to center of the ring but crashes off the guard with her efforts and gets slammed on the ribs again with Dannii ducking low and finding her tactics very successful; she backs the blonde to the ropes in the dying seconds again and bends her forward with more body attacks as Hannah winces in pain, tries to find a clinch but eats a big hook on the jaw right with the bell; staggers back to her corner and looks in serious trouble now.

Round 5:
Hannah is hurt and struggles to get up from her stool and Dannii notices that; she lashes out at her blonde foe straight off the bell; closes her down, fakes some low jabs before going after the head. Spearritt expected the ribcage attacks; is slow to raise her gloves and gets nailed with couple of big jabs on the mouth, head snaps back and forth and it's more leather from the redhead, Dannii slams another series on the head, shatters the blonde's mitts, rocks her with accurate hooks on both temples, wobbles her in the middle of the ring and throws a gutwrencher on the navel in the middle of all that barrage with SPEARRITT FOLDING LIKE A CHEAP TENT and crashing on her knees!!! Head bend against the canvas, a really sad sight for all the blonde supporters. Minogue relaxed in the neutral corner stares at her rival trying to beat the count. Spearritt gets one knee up at six, launches herself upright at seven but wobbles back to referee's arms and the count continues. At ten Hannah closes her eyes and tries to maintain balance but it's a no go!!! Ref calls it a day and Dannii waves her glove and falls into the arms of coach Nikki Visser. Hannah drops her head and walks slowly back to her corner but she can't complain over the outcome... KO R5 Dannii Minogue!!!

Post-fight:
Dannii Minogue showed today she can still throw a punch and quite frankly she pummelled Hannah Spearritt into submission. The blonde singer lost all her punch resistance and didn't really trouble the redhead veteran; couldn't beat the count in the fifth after a relentless barrage from Dannii knocked her down for the second time during the contest. Dannii makes up for the loss to Geri Halliwell and by knocking out a woman ten years her junior, she postponed her retirement by several months if not years according to most pundits.

Final result: Dannii Minogue def. Hannah Spearritt KO5.
