BEFORE:

"We're ALL a little tired of Decker strutting around like she's something special," says a smiling Diane. "And we're also tired of her making her reputation over the bodies of supermodels. So, it ends today. It ends with ME."

"It's so cute she thinks that," says Brooklyn with a devastating smile. "The truth is, I will decide what happens tonight. Maybe I'll send Diane to sleep early. And maybe I'll carry her and give MY fans a show. But the point is, I will decide. And there's nothing SHE can do about it."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and 'Scientist' by Coldplay pounding through the arena, and the crowd popping for supermodel and movie star Diane Kruger!"

McCarthy: "How is this the main event? Decker against an indie?"

Tess: "If you ask Wiz, I'll bet he'd tell you it's the main event because Decker is IN it..."

McCarthy: "Not a trace of a smile on Diane's face as she comes down the aisle. No question that she's on a mission tonight, a mission to end the tyranny of Brooklyn Decker!"

O'Dell: "Kruger into the ring, helped off with the robe to reveal a turquoise bikini. Quite the body on her, Mac!"

McCarthy: "She's bigger than I thought. 5'7" and weighed in at 126. She's not quite as big as Decker, who straddles the line between light and welter, but she's big enough."

O'Dell: "And, speaking of 'The 21st Century Goddess', down go the lights, and here comes the laser show to 'Also Sprach Zarathustra'..."

McCarthy: "RIDICULOUS! If I come out of retirement, it won't be for that wannabe Allison Mack, but it just MIGHT be for Decker's arrogant butt!"

Tess: "Check out who the camera's found ringside as the lights come up. Cindy Crawford and Rachel Hunter sitting together, putting their heads together. Wonder what THEY'RE talking about. Or WHO."

O'Dell: "Decker into the ring, helped off with the robe to reveal that yellow number she favors..."

Tess: "Hefner would sign a BLANK check right now to get HER in the magazine..."

McCarthy: "Hef would do NO SUCH THING..."

O'Dell: "Calm down, Mac. Ladies getting ready to go. Let's get a pick. Tess favors Decker..."

McCarthy: "Decker has to be the favorite. She's the bigger girl and has had much more FCBA success, but she's overrated..."

Tess: "She's top ten in TWO divisions..."

McCarthy: "OVER. RATED. I'd LOVE to get her in a pub on St. Patty's Day..."

Tess: "And there's as much chance of Wiz signing maybe his top draw to a BAR fight as there is him signing Stewart to fight Dani Harris in that converted Dakota missile silo..."

O'Dell: "And there's the bell for the first. Decker looking to work the long left jab. Kruger ducking, dodging, showing some quickness here, able to land her own left, slide right, and reset. Decker landing the jab occasionally at range, but not able to locate."

McCarthy: "Good, slick stuff from Kruger. Clever boxing. Using her feet and hand speed to good effect. Moving the upper body. Making herself hard to find."

Tess: "It would seem to me the worst thing for Kruger would be to get caught early. If she can box with Decker, she'll be in this fight."

McCarthy: "We'll make an analyst of you, yet, Walmart."

O'Dell: "Kruger crafty in exchanges. Willing to land one shot when she gets in position. Not getting greedy. Keeping the head and upper body movement going. Never staying in one place longer than it takes to land something."

McCarthy: "Not a lot of dancing and circling like Hudson. Just enough movement to make her hard to square up."

O'Dell: "And that's the bell for the first, and all that nipping enough to give Diane the round."

Tess: "No question. Kruger off to the 10-9 lead."

McCarthy: "Have the Dancing Hookers WON a first round tonight?"

Tess: "Um, Dennings left Seydoux laying in the first round, so the answer to that would be yes..."

O'Dell: "Mac has a point, though. The other six fights have seen Front Street opponents take the opening frame."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Into the second now, and Decker beginning to find the range with that big left hand. Thumping away with that heavy jab..."

McCarthy(sighing): "Front Street Jab..."

Tess: "Did you just say..."

McCarthy: "Like 'Fat Amy', I might as well say it before YOU do..."

O'Dell: "Decker walking Diane down. Backing her up methodically."

Tess: "When Decker squares an opponent up with that left, she's likely to go backward. That's a very heavy punch."

O'Dell: "Kruger forced to the defensive. Covering up. Decker hooking to the body off the straight left."

McCarthy: "This is the fight Decker wants. Shelling from a distance. If she's able to work on these terms, Diane's in trouble."

O'Dell: "And Brooke IS dictating terms right now, using that left hand to control Kruger, then banging home that right to the ribs or lats. Final seconds running down, and that's the end of the second."

Tess: "And the scorecards are even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Into the third and Decker looking to get back to the jab. Kruger now beginning to work angles, not allowing Decker to find her with that left hand."

McCarthy: "Diane again using her feet. Not dancing or circling, just making herself hard to find. Using good upper body movement, not getting squared up with the jab."

O'Dell: "And that's allowing her to pick away for points again like she did in the first. Decker unable to preempt Kruger. Unable to back her up or force her onto the defensive. Instead it's Diane landing, slipping punches, scoring with both hands."

McCarthy: "You have to like what Kruger is doing here. It's slick stuff. She's renegotiated the terms and it's working in her favor."

O'Dell: "Decker trying to match footwork, but not able to do so at the moment. Final seconds ticking off the clock, and that's the end of the third. And Kruger back to the lead."

Tess: "29-28 Diane."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth round underway now, and Decker lands a good left-right."

Tess: "Right hand was the best punch of the fight so far."

O'Dell: "Decker turning up the heat a little. Landing that big left with authority, forcing Diane to cover up again. Kruger being forced backward. Decker dropping that overhand right on her. Going upstairs now instead of to the body."

McCarthy: "Kruger needs to get out of Brooke's gun sights, because she's dead center right now."

O'Dell: "Decker a double-tap left...AND DOWN GOES DIANE! OVERHAND RIGHT TO THE SIDE OF THE HEAD SPILLS KRUGER TO THE CANVAS!"

McCarthy: "That was a BIG punch. Not sure if Diane's getting up..."

O'Dell: "Decker in a neutral corner. Count at four. Five. Six. Diane IS getting up. She'll be on her feet at eight and take the mandatory. Referee going to allow it to continue, and on comes Brooke! Decker banging away with both hands, backing Kruger into the ropes and getting off thick to the head and body. Diane covering up. Trying to fire back in spots, but mostly being suppressed."

McCarthy: "This is about surviving for Kruger at this point."

O'Dell: "And it looks like she's going to. Decker still landing heavy to the bell, but the fourth comes to an end and Diane is still standing!"

Tess: "But Decker's now leading. 38-37 after the 10-8."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "We're into the fifth now, and Decker back to work with the looong left hand. Banging it home at range, keeping Diane outside, looking to drop right hands off it."

Tess: "You can just see the confidence in Decker. How free and easy she's working now. Feet and hands moving well. She's dictating terms, and she clearly loves it."

O'Dell: "Kruger again being backed up by Decker's heavy leather. Brooke still hooking body off the left, but also banging home straight right hands. Kruger against the ropes, countering in spots, but this is Brooke Decker in control."

McCarthy: "Kruger doing well defensively. Dodging and picking off some of those shots, but she's not getting much done offensively, and Decker's scoring plenty."

O'Dell: "Nice one-two by Decker. Kruger counters to the body with a right hook. Brooke back to the left hand. Diane sliding along the ropes, slips out to open canvas, but Brooke zeroes in with that left again, and there's the bell. Excellent round for Decker."

Tess: "48-46 through five."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth round begins and Decker back to the jab. Kruger ducking and dodging, slipping and sliding, hooking the body, showing angles again."

McCarthy: "Give Diane credit. Not willing to just fade away here after Brooke took control the last couple of rounds. She's still competing, and she's again becoming hard to find."

O'Dell: "Decker staying patient. Trying to get in position to get off, but right now not able to do that."

Tess: "This is where a less experienced fighter might get frustrated and start bombing away hoping to hit something. Brooke's not doing that. She's taking her time, finding some openings and scoring."

O'Dell: "But not as often as Diane. Kruger able to stay out of the gun sights for the most part. Happy with ones and twos here. Not going to get greedy and let Brooklyn line her up."

McCarthy: "Once again, good stuff from Kruger. She clearly has plenty of boxing skill."

O'Dell: "And it's enough to earn her the points in the sixth round. There's the bell, and Diane has the win."

Tess: "57-56 Decker. Kruger hanging around."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Into the seventh now and DECKER TEES OFF ON KRUGER! Brooke with a pair of nasty flurries that ROCK Diane..."

Tess: "All comes off that big left jab. When she's finding the mark with that thing, lots of other things open up."

O'Dell: "Kruger's legs showing plenty because there's ANOTHER big one-two! Knocked Diane back a step. Brooke using laser guided stuff right now, and it's landing with a ton of impact, but Kruger able to absorb it and stay on her feet."

McCarthy: "Diane may be opening some eyes here."

O'Dell: "Meanwhile, Decker looking to close a couple. She's going to work with the left now, walking Kruger down, backing her toward the ropes, banging accurate leather upstairs, then hooking off the jab down below."

Tess: "Kruger trying to rally back, but she's being completely suppressed by Decker's fire."

O'Dell: "Kruger still slick on defense. Dodging and blocking some of the bigger woman's punches, but Decker's landing a pretty high percentage as we hear the bell ending round seven."

Tess: "Shutout, Decker. 67-65 with three to go."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Into the eighth now and Diane side-stepping the left hand, countering with a nice right hook, ducking a right hand follow and digging ribs with her left."

McCarthy: "More slick stuff from Kruger. This girl can box. She's just at the high edge of the physicality she can handle with Decker. Brooke weighed in a half pound under for this fight, and she fights at about 135 at welter, so she's clearly a bigger girl than Diane."

O'Dell: "Kruger again working angles well. Decker patient, getting off in spots only. Diane having the better of things, stepping right outside that left hand, forcing Decker to turn and reset. Staying away from that right hand."

Tess: "Again, Kruger scoring wirth ones and twos and happy to do that. Gets to her spot, gets off, and slips right. Like Mac said, slick stuff."

O'Dell: "Decker perhaps a bit vexed here, but just continues to try to match footwork. Kruger slipping and dipping right to the bell that ends round eight."

Tess: "76-75. Diane's not out of this."

ROUND NINE:

O'Dell: "Ninth of a scheduled ten and Decker matching footwork with Kruger now, lining her up with that left hand, backing her up, dropping in heavy rights."

McCarthy: "Kruger trying to dodge and duck, but Brooklyn's got the range, and she's firing with both barrels."

O'Dell: "Decker leaning on the left and then leaning INTO the right. She's landing thick and has Diane on the defensive. Kruger being forced to cover up again and again as Brooklyn's suppressing fire has her offense all but smothered."

McCarthy: "Decker imposing will again, but not finishing..."

Tess: "Is she TRYING to finish?"

O'Dell: "Not sure, but Kruger's not making it easy for her either way. Diane in a high guard, bobbing and weaving. Decker has her backed into the ropes and is thumping away with both hands. Brooklyn working body with hooks now. Trying to bring the guard down. Diane not getting off. Decker piling up points to the bell, then bouncing back to her corner with a smile."

Tess: "Excellent round for Decker. 86-84 now with one to go. Diane's going to need a huge round to pull the upset."

ROUND TEN:

O'Dell: "Tenth and final underway now, and Decker now working forward behind that big left. Diane trying to slip and turn, but Decker turning with, barreling her up, and walking her down."

Tess: "Brooklyn's a very athletic girl, and you're seeing some of that now."

O'Dell: "And she hits like a sledgehammer, and Kruger's FEELING that now. Diane again backed into the ropes and Brooklyn again going to work, hammering at her head and body. They're right above us and you can hear leather smacking skin as Decker hooks Kruger's ribs. Diane trying to counter in spots, but Brookie D's punishing fire has her mostly covering up..."

McCarthy: "Decker really getting her shoulders and back into these punches now. Kruger bobbing and weaving on the ropes, catching some of these on her gloves and shoulders, but a lot of this stuff is landing and she's doing well to take it and stay standing."

O'Dell: "Time running down now, but Decker still working, piling on the hurt. Splitting the gloves with that big left one last time before the bell."

Tess: "Another dominant round for Decker, and a comfortable decision if our cards, which say 96-93, are right..."

O'Dell: "Decision being announced and you're right on ladies. Your winner by UD10 is 'The 21st Century Goddess', Brooklyn Decker!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I've got our winner, Brooklyn Decker, and Brooke, Diane hung in there pretty tough. She took some big shots from you, especially in those last few rounds..."

Brooklyn: "I TOLD you I might decide to carry her. I could have taken her out in the fourth if I'd wanted. Or, at any point afterward. But, I wanted to get in some work and put on a show for my fans. And maybe send a message to some of those fossil models in the crowd that they'd better think HARD before they decide they want some of THIS!"
