TESS VALMORE AKA LA TESSIERE
GOMEZ/ RYAN A rousing fight while it lasted. After the first round which was a draw, Gomez took the second and Ryan the third. In the fourth, Gomez hurt Ryan with a right to the stomach. Ryan clinched, then Gomez caught Ryan with a slinging right as they were being separated. Gomez finished Ryan off with a right to the temple as Ryan was down. Shamefully, the referee let this go to the count and Gomez was awarded a KO and a target on her back for her illegal tactics.
DOBREV/ LOVATO If there was a fight on this card I would have bet my condo on, this was it. No way Lovato handles Dobrev. She did for a 60 seconds, as she put Dobrev on the canvas in the first minute. Dobrev got up, charged into Lovato and one minute later, Lovato was counted out. It was an exciting two minutes
REGAN/ C. BELL You want to know why I want Charlize to retire? So she doesn’t end up like Cat Bell. fighting in a body paint fight and getting pounded out by a younger fighter. Bell did floor Regan in the first round but never really threatened Regan after that. Regan was way ahead on the cards going into the ninth, when she ended Bell’s night with a right left combination that put Bell down for the ten count. Bell should go bye bye. Her continuing to fight is not doing any justice to the Hall Of Fame
ROWLAND/ WAGNER Wagner had a fight plan and executed it. She stayed on the perimeter and after the first round didn’t get into fierce slugging with Rowland, Wagner opened a big lead wining the first three and by the end of the ninth, had a wide lead. She just needed finish, and finish she did as she rode out a Rowland storm to get the wide decision
CYRUS/ MITCHELL After two competitive opening rounds. Mitchell took control flooring Cyrus in the third, fourth and a final time in the sixth. Mitchell won her first fight and won it by a KO. Some stable seem to excited over Mitchell’s win. Don’t be. She is four inches taller than Cyrus. Let’s wait and see what she does when she faces someone her size
MICHALKA/ LAWRENCE Michalka got a going over in the first, but Lawrence failed to finish. Lawrence got a going over in the third, but Michalka failed to finish. In the fourth, Lawrence with a single left hook did what she couldn’t do in the first. She finished Michalka and sent a message. “Don’t mess with the “golden goddess’ replacement”
OLSEN/ SINCLAIR I have no idea who Sinclair is, other than she poses on a World War Two fighter like a 1940’s pinup. She does, however, fight better than Olsen, who seemed more interested in lasting the round rather than winning it. That strategy paid off for three rounds. In the fourth, she failed to execute that strategy and ended up getting counted out from a left uppercut
CARLSON/ WILDE This turned out to be a better fight than I anticipated. Wilde had an early lead and then went down in the fourth. She returned the favor, decking Carlson in the fifth. The fight was fairly even going into the eighth which turned out to be the last round as Wilde caught Carlson with a whipping right and then an uppercut that left Carlson still out at the ten count
RIHANNA. BLOODGOOD If you expected to see a fight here, you were sadly disappointed. Rihanna’s only mistake was she showed up. She was decked four times and didn’t win a single round. Bloodgood is getting some publicity as a coming welter despite her age. She on the Crusade list. I trust Charlize was watching this bout closely. It gives her more to worry about
DE LA GARZA/ LIMA I was really not happy with Alana, the way she came on to Smackey the other day at Bazz, but I must say she came to fight tonight. After five close rounds, she took over in the sixth by flooring Lima three times She then took three of the four remaining rounds to get the decision
PANETTIERE/ SCERBO I hate the way this fight ended. I have nothing against Panettiere. In fact, I like her a lot. Scerbo, however, is one of my best friends. I thought Cassie was doing OK through four. I was excited when she floored Hayden twice in the fifth. Then, my heart sank in the opening of the sixth when Hayden came out with her fists whirling and landing. When she landed that huge uppercut, I knew the fight was over. Congratulations to Hayden. I’m not worried. Cassie will be back
LOWNDES. WILKINSON. A JMD fight. I don’t do JMD fights but I understand it ended in a draw which I believe is a FCBA first |

On my phone, so I'll go into more detail if you want me to tomorrow
The punch on the break and the insurance right were the same punch. Selena ony threw one punch she shouldn't have, not two
Kendra & Jessica weren't fighting JMD this time. Given the result, it may happen in the future, but this one was regulation |

No I understand. I was under the impression that the Wilkinson fight was JMD. Where I got that impression, I have no idea, I do remember predicting the fight. It's really a very bad mistake on my part, I assumed it was JMD and didn't even scan it. It's not the first time I didn't pay attention, but it has to be the last. We chalk it up as a learning experience. Let's hope so |
