Before: Maxim with exclusive print rights to this fight, giving both girls a big push, but Allen‘s not playing. Krista showing yup to the pre-fight conference dressed in corporate-lawyer power suits, purposefully distancing herself from her beach past. “I need rounds and there is good competition on the beach, “ admits Krista, ‘but I have no intention of positioning myself as a beach fighter, I’m here to sharpen my skills and resume my career as a top-drawing brunette attraction. As far as I’m concerned, girls like Angelica are here to be used and discarded and that’s what I’m going to do to her.” Added intrigue: Janet Jones working as Allen’s trainer for this fight--Krusher braintrust says, “I don’t have an exclusive contract with the Krushers, just a primary duty to them, Allen in no way represents a conflict of interest, and I think she’s got tons of untapped talent waiting to be released. Krista in red bikini top, white retro bottoms, Angelica in green crochet bikini. Fought outdoors, beach and bleachers setup

During R1: Krista setting the tone early, controlling Angelica with a popping jab--moments in Allen scorches Bridges with a ringing right uppercut, leaving Bridges momentarily dazed. Allen bust about her girl’s middle, stepping right, snick-snacking away at the waist with both hands--Bridges leaning forward, grunting in pain. Final minute, Allen mopping up from the outside when a sweeping bridges right lands flush on the temple--Allen staggering forward and another walloping right bludgeons her behind the head--KRISTA’S DOWN! Allen wide eyed on all fours--takes a wonky 8and Bridges comes SAILING in! Angelica with her walking, sling-mitted barrage, elbows in as she strokes Allen’s ribs and jaw with tight swinging lefts and rights and ALLEN GOES DOWN! Krista beaten to her backside at the ropes, trembling, glassy eyed--bell sounds to save the brunette as she watches Bridges proud derriere strutting away to corner.

R2: All Angelica--Krista fighting scared--she’s tasted the redhead’s power and wants no part of it. Bridges chin tucked, walking Krista down--Allen in full retreat until, she runs out of ring--she covers up to accept B ridges walloping wide assault, then seeks to clinch for referee’s breaks. Bridges filled with contempt at the bell--she’s taunting Krista, daring her to trade--Allen huffy to her stool.

R3: Klassy Krista shutout. Allen getting leggy, using the ring--she’s wrong footing Bridges with sudden direction changes, sharp pivots--redhead can’t get off. Allen spicy with her jab, keeping it on Angelica’s face with a banging, chipping rhythm--Bridges walking through it, but she’s not answering. Krista able to spot hard right hands on Angelica’s chin, wobbling redhead butt and freezing Angi on the spot--Krista able to hurt her girl and circle away, content to potshot off her jab. Great job of wearing Angelica through 3.

R4,5,6: 6 straight minutes of class from Krista. She’s showing Bridges a constant jab, banging away on redhead tits and mouth--Allen able to retreat and walk Angi into abuse, turn her at the ropes, beat her to punches. Nice straight, sudden punching from Krista--dropping in the right hand from the shoulder, getting the hook and left uppercut off the jab--she’s putting ‘em all together on Bridges’ beautiful face. After 6, Janet tells Krista, “I want you to get after this girl’s belly K, sink ‘em in down there.

R7: Static action as Krista commits to Angelica’s waistline, Bridges able to set up head on shoulder with Allen and work. Angelica’s best round since the first--she’s backing Krista to the ropes, beating her to the hips. Ribs and tits with chopping, slicing work from either hand. Bridges landing with the side if her right hand around Krista’s left hip--knife-edge blows drawing winces of pain and complaints from Allen as she sobs about hitting in the back. Down the stretch, Allen turns it all around--she picks Angi up sweet with a curling little right uppercut in tight, puts the hooks on top, then lands a walking barrage on the ropes, straight right hands and left hooks in between and around Bridges panicky guard to steal the round.

R8,9: Krista’s face so intense, eyes locked on her girl as she bangs away from outside, jabs, straight right hands. Bridges wearing down, puffy from Krista’s heartless face punching, reacting late, hands crossed low against her bosom and belly as she leans forward in a tired bob. Allen content to circle clockwise and chip away--occasionally leaning in on her front foot, hoisting a thick hook up under her girl’s elbow, or leaning onto the back foot to pick Bridges up sweet the right uppercut. Angi landing single shots, unable to put punches together as Krista dances away from danger to regroup.

R10: Krista more aggressive, pounding away belly and face the jab, then committing to hard right crosses to turn Bridges head aside. Allen backing her girl up, laying in cheek to cheek and working the midriff with loose-limbed licks underneath. Bridges’ butt in the ropes, mouth hanging open--she’s taking a beating and just willing herself to go on, Allen turning her shoulders side to side, clubbing jug with meanspirited tight lefts and rights then lighting Angi up a gorgeous right uppercut to sit redhead stunned in the strands. BUT ANGI SLUGS BACK! Bridges all busted up and hurt, comes alive in the last minute, going mouth on shoulder with Krista banging away at her flanks and hips. Allen doesn’t like the heat, steps out and runs the clock, earning boos from the beach-loving crowd who want to see girls close each other out. Comes back UD10 wide, Krista Allen.

After: Bridges badly beaten, woozy and discouraged as her gloves are removed, Krista smiling, nodding at financial backs and fans ringside--she really dismantled Angelica tonight. Brunette makes it look easy for the most part, although pundits are most impressed with her coming off the deck twice in the first to turn things around. Janet J a little harder to please: “You know, she won--but I wanted to see her get Angelica out of there. Allen’s got every physical tool you could want, but she’s got to develop that Theron-like killer instinct. She had Angi hanging on in the third and she backed off! Charlize finishes the fight right there--that’s the difference right now and I’m trying to get Krista to see that.”
