BEFORE: "As the biggest movie-star on the Frontstreet roster," Seyfried says, "the girls are all looking to me for leadership and nobody wants to stub a toe on a girl like Bowen. Aussie girls are all tuff, and I'm sure Clare's no exception, but you look at her chassis, and I say she's plump. She's chubby. She's soft all over, and I'm gonna take it to her! No surprises, no excuses: I'm making Bowen quit!"

Clare "Boom Boom" Bowen (as she's known down Australia way) resolute in rebuttal - nostrils flaring at the suggestion she might quit under a Seyfried pounding. "Amanda's dreaming," Clare announces matter of fact. "If she think I'll quit, she's simply delusional and probably under-prepared for this fight. I'm not chubby: I'm strong! I get position and I stay in position - and I WORK when I get there. Amanda better just bring her hard-hat to this fight, 'cause when I get started, I don't stop, and I never, ever quit!"

Bowen forms earmuff, crouching forward: Seyfried jerks the tidy left uppercut to overhanging jugs; chops a short right to left ear; pops hips-right to fit a spanking hook in behind Clare's right elbow. Bowen taking like a little champ, rises from crouch to hook offending jugs; trades stout, short right hands to chin - both girls lit up to crowd-pleasing effect in the exchange. Girls spanking each other tasty...intensity building...from the minute mark they are SWAPPIN' IT UP - each girl getting buns-and-back into clobbering wallop! Seyfried leaning to her right, pulling left hooks onto Clare's head: Bowen digging lefts to Amanda's breadbasket - both girls triggering short right hands that land with simultaneous impacts. Final minute - crowd roaring as little blonde battlers go all-in - rip-roaring brawl sees wicked, winging lefts and rights kiss off chins/spank off faces/crash into ribs. Final moments - trade with wide, swinging rights sees Clare put wobbly-butt, staggering away all wide-eyed as AMANDA GOES DOWN! Seyfried's right (back) leg gives way, dropping her to her knee, then her back as she's out at the bell! Amanda scooped up and revived on her stool; Bowen given smelling salts and ice behind the neck...both girls wrecked in a last woman standing first!

R2: Clare forming earmuff midring...still-woozy Amanda triggers a heavy left jab to guard, keeping Bowen occupied...gradually salting in digging left uppercuts to ribs underneath; short right hands bashing off prepared defenses up top. Stubby, flat-footed punching - Seyfried just taking care of business, getting off methodically, not smothering herself - just a systematic pummeling of Aussie front. Clare stubborn behind her mitts, absorbing buffetting about head and shoulders/grunting from the odd tuff left uppercut to body, but just standing in no-woman's land, letting Amanda get off. Down the stretch, Bowen begins hooking rack and punching a heavy, straight, palm-down right into Amanda's midsection, but Seyfried's already got the points wrapped up by then.

R3: Amanda hooking like a champ - right tight to her chin as she leans to her right, pulling left hands around Clare's guard to score ear/jaw. Dipping left, Amanda will dig rising lefts in behind Clare's right elbow; flash the jerky right uppercut to Clare's forward guard, then; edge the left shoulder in under Bowen's guard to bump her out of her set position. Methodical stuff - Clare absorbing punishment, being rugged, but not working: Seyfried able to step around, get off systematico and beat her girl for points. Bell: Clare spellbound, wobbly-butt back to her corner: Amanda looking over her right shoulder en route to HER corner catches the details.

R4: Another tasty shutout, Amanda Seyfried. Clare cooperating by stooping forward in tight earmuff, sort of falling in as Amanda's beatin' the body thick; scraping the right uppercuts across Bowen's guard; getting low to bump the left shoulder in. Amanda not neglecting the head: she'll tip to her right, steering wide hooks around Clare's right wrist, bludgeoning Aussie cutie out of her stance in spots.

R5: Ain't broke, Amanda's not fixing it: she's getting off robusto, working up back-sweat with a thumping punching performance, all while keeping a little separation so girls aren't wrestling. Bowen FINALLY answering late, trading stubby right hands to chin in close; turning over hooks to jug, landing hard enough to put Amanda on her heels at times.

R6: Amanda working Clare over with the same hard-working close-range bump-and-slug early - Bowen just riding it out in the tight earmuff. Minute mark - Clare fits a tidy left uppercut to chin out of her guard, catching Seyfried reloading...Amanda momentarily derailed, gets caught a STOUT right hand to mouth, putting her wobbly butt on the spot! Seyfried now stunned, staring...Clare dabbing a pushy jab to mouth to get Amanda stumbling backwards. Ropes: smashing right to face knocks Seyfried's head back, ejects her mouthpiece and loosens her knees...Amanda swooning on the spot as Clare squares away. BIG, THUMPING BEATDOWN administered, Bowen to Seyfried...Amanda just butt-in-ropes, face-in-gloves, taking it thick to waist/flanks as "Boom Boom" delivers on her nick name to bell.

R7: Amanda with just the hint of a jab - it's enough to poke Bowen into earmuff-front, giving Seyfried the initiative. Amanda doing her pattern: thumping hooks behind Clare's right elbow, or diggin' 'em deep below right breast; scraping right uppercuts along the guard; tipping-right and hooking Clare upside the head. Bowen waiting her turn, getting outworked, but when she does get off, it's with curvy heft - especially on pumping right uppercuts to midsection.

R8: FURIOUS, spanking trade through 2 minutes - curvy little blondes standing in toe-to-toe, bouncing mitts off faces. Pace abates after two minutes, girls lay in mouth on shoulder to begin lapping offending paunches underneath...Clare's beefy curves the difference as she walks Amanda to ropes and outworks her to bell. Ref pushing girls apart...sleepy expressions, parted lips all around as these fighters are SPENT.

R9: Hint of a jab wins initiative for Amanda: she looks much better if she can get Bowen covering up/waiting her turn. Seyfried still doing her patterns, but also looking for paydirt...she's got the right hand cocked at her chin, touching Clare up with the left...turning her...being patient and BOOM! Halfway through, Amanda times Clare opening up to throw and feeds Bowen a slamming straight right to face! Clare's head: jolted. Clare's knees: buckled. Clare's buns: wobbling. Bowen staggering away with glassy how-could-you eyes: Amanda walking her down to clean up. CLARE WON'T HAVE IT! Bowen desperately hurt but refusing to punk...she turns badger at the ropes, embroiling Amanda in a vicious trade in swinging lefts and rights. Bell: both girls wobbly-butt, blinking with hurt - ref has to pull Amanda away as she's lost in Clare-hate.

R10: Amanda just waving the jab at Clare - it's enough to get Bowen into that crouching earmuff, giving Seyfried inish. Amanda smart, disclipined - scuffing her jab across the top of Clare's head; punching short rights into guard to keep it occupied; ripping hooks thick behind Clare's right elbow, then leaning away onto right leg to reset the jab. Amanda too banged up to go for the stoppage: she's content to touch her girl, work at her, chunk the odd thick body shot in, then sidestep. Bowen cooperative, turning on the spot, following Amanda around...Clare's inexperience exploited here as Amanda posts a veteran shutout to take the 10th, and the fight UD10.

AFter: Banging action fight leaves both women bruised and puffy...Amanda comes off the floor to post a mature, disciplined result against determined young comp tonight. "She was tough," a weary Seyfried admits in postfight. "You know, I was getting in there snug to her body, really wearing her out, and she took it, man - took all I had. She IS soft though, I stand by my assessment of her: I felt I consistently hurt her to the body and had control of her, even if she was too damn stubborn to give me satisfaction. It's a good win: the kid's a load, she came to fight, and I took it to her like a champ!"
