BEFORE: "I'm up for the fight," a cheerful JWag grins in prefight. "Rolling up on Frontstreet is a good plan for me...lot of quality girls who just happen to be vulnerable to my style and hitting power. Take Torv: great fighter...but she's a little slow and methodical; hittable; hurtable. I see me blowing the doors off Anna - really lighting her up and taking charge, you know?"

Torv playing it all Cool Hand Anna at podium. "Jill's a fine fighter," Torv allows, "even if her analytical skills are a bit wobbly. She's got great power-to-weight numbers; great wheels - I'll give her all that. She's good, but she's mid-tier at best, and fighting me's not going to alter that perception of her. She won't be the fighter she is on the scales once I've hurt her. And once I've hurt her...well. You'll see."

Anna in brown bikini top; pastel blue sport bikini bottoms with pastel pink floral patterns; small white gloves; blonde hair in slick low pony. Jill in royal blue bikini; brown hair in loose curls; small white gloves. JWag wears cowboy hat to ring instructions, giving an impassive Anna all sort of swaggering/grinning 'tude.

During R1: Anna: creep steppin', respecting Jill's quicks; jabbing down into body to help cut off the ring; measuring with the left arm extended/fist circling in the air, then; leaning in to get short, pulverizing right hand chop-shots head/chest. Wagner doesn't like the weight-of-shot - loping away to her right after blocking...Anna the aggressor as a result, stalking her prey. Jill's counter-pounces flashy, but ineffective: Anna crouching, covering up tight, rolling/bobbing in the pocket, then going back onto the offensive after the JWag outbursts.

R2: Same again - Anna methodical, but cutting off the ring well with that educated jab to body; leaning in with short-chopping rights to spook her foe. Wagner loping along perimeter - getting boxed-in at times, but generally able to disengage...she's dousing Anna with little counter-pounce flurries as blonde-girl's encroaching - Torv covering up tight, bobbing and blocking, then resuming her pressure. Nobody hurt, but it's Anna dictating terms through 2 tactical heats.

R3: Wagner ups tempo, steals the initiative with a brace of spitting jabs mid-ring. Anna on her back foot (right), dukes up/palms out: Wagner darting in and out against this front, double-jabbing guard/tummy. Jill walking briskly to her right to shift angle: Anna turning, hoping to jab for Wagner's chest, but brunette countering like a champ, dropping vicious right hand rockets over Anna's left. Face-pasting good time had by Wags: she's touching Anna up, circling leggy, anticipating the receipts and stepping away before they land. Down the stretch, Anna frowning, perplexed...she bites on a feint, then absorbs a sweeping right to left ear and BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Torv batted down onto her right knee as a delighted Wagner hops away...10-8 third erases Torv's steadfast early work, resetting the counters as Wagner evens the cards.

R4: Wagner: eyes flashing, teeth bared as she mounts slashing in-out attacks, raking Anna via sleek one-twos. Torv: sitting in the pocket, timing the pounces, looking to beat Jill's ribs via roll-counter right/lefts as brunette's jumping in. Furious two-way action - Jill punishing Anna's face; Torv belting away effectively to ribs...Anna able to slow Jill over the course of the round, then steal it late with a series of THUDDING hook/right hand sequences in the waist. Round finishes up with Jill stooping forward face-in-gloves, absorbing body shots in a stationary, flat-footed stance...she walks back hands-on-hips to her corner for break, breathing hard through mouth.

R5: Jill: wincing, mouthbreathing...she's hurt in her body. Anna: stalking all chin-tucked, blue eyes icy-blazing, tracking Wagner in counter-clockwise path along ring-perimeter. Anna with a deceptively quick stepped-in jab - pounding Jill's chest, knocking her into ropes, where she may be cleaned up right/left tuff to ribcage. Wagner absorbing body-thump, then either tying up for ref's break or spinning out...either way, Anna resumes her stalking. Minute mark, Anna steps in jabbing-chest; chopping that hatchet right hand to jaw, knocking Jill into ropes. Wagner grimacing, trying to right herself with arms outstretched to push...Anna hooks the chin tidy, knocking Jill's head back, loosening her knees at ropes. Wagner covers up earmuff, sitting into cables...Anna looms in close to brunette guard - touches Jill a left on the mitts, then BURIES that left hook DEEEEP behind right elbow. Gorgeous liver shot cripples Jill on the spot...she jack-knifes forward into canvas, hugging her body as she squats low onto her haunches, forehead on canvas. That's it - poor, wheezing Jill can't shake off the bodyshot: KO5 Anna Torv.

After: Torv actually seething a little bit - ice-blue eyes still incendiary as she does the in-ring stand-up. "Methodical doesn't mean slow," Anna says in postfight. "I'm not a Mexican jumping bean in the ring, but I get things done - I track girls down - even quick girls like Jill - I track 'em, hurt 'em and finish 'em. I feel like I'm in the best shape of my career; I've never been stronger or sharper. I'm fit competition for the top girls like Erica Durance and Rachel Nichols; I don't think Kaley Cuoco or Jessica Biel could stand against me for a full ten; I don't think Missy Peregrym has the skill to compete with me...I think I match up well with that level of opponent. I've got tremendous genre fan support because of "Fringe", and I think just because the show's ending doesn't mean I won't be able to make those fights. I'm very hopeful 2013 will be my championship year, and I hope we can make the fights that will make that happen!"
