Before: Monaco brings her wild, go-for-broke Playboy Mansion style in against a very disciplined mechanic--should make for an intriguing mix. Young Kelly philosophical about squaring off against the bigger name in the division, “I hit her on the chin, she’ll go,” shrugs the little beauty. Hayek just looking to ge back on the horse--she’s a big favourite, wants to avoid any unpleasantness in this fight, “I just want to operate on someone,” explains Salma, “get some rounds in and feel good. I won’t let this be a fight.”

Hayek in BI battle dress black leather sports bra; wet black leather mini-trunks with wet black leather mini-skirt and hold tassel fringe; and wet black leather boxing boots)--Kelly in clingy white crop top, skin-tight sleeves to the elbow, bare midriff, red boy vut Calvin Klein cotton bottoms, black shoes.

During R1: Sweeping right claps off the top of Salma’s head as Monaco bring s it early--Latina steps out, circles to the right with a scowl. Hayek testing Monaco’s reflexes with feints--Salma keeping her distance, using the ring, elbows in, hand sup and relaxed. Kelly stomping forward, over-swinging heroically--she’s catching air as Hayek stays out of range, takes a look-see in forfeiting the first.

R2: Salma circumspect in the first minute--seeing how Monaco moves in either direction, seeing how she holds her hands. Kelly trying to step in and wallop, but can’t find the mark when Hayek doesn’t want to fight. Middle minute--Salma flat footed, bending at the waist to ease forward, calmly bobbing under punches--Monaco making skidding connects across the back or wide to the shoulders, just happy to have stationary target. Final minute--Hayek finally choosing her spots--moving right, stepping in, bobbing low under a wailing Monaco right, up underneath with a gouging hook, bobbing under a sailing Monaco left and taking her under the left tit with a digging right uppercut. Kelly gasping, legs giving way--she retreats to the ropes ashen faced. Salma expressionless as she scoots in, jabs high, shoots the straight right to the body, then dips to the left to pick up Kelly’s chin the left uppercut at the bell. Precision power from Hayek leaves Monaco tremble-bodied--Playmate won’t recover during the break.

R3: Systematic shutout Hayek. Salma’s seen enough--know she can attack underneath, timing Monaco’s lusty swings and victimizing the brunette’s lungs with dip-and-dig lefts and rights. Hayek nice and easy over her front foot, bending in low to slip the Monaco right, straightening to evade Kelly’s left. Hayek essentially flat footed, but nimble--gliding back to create room, dragging her front foot, touching Kelly the jab to keep her compliant.

R4: Hayek applying a patient touch of Latina--hooking off the jab, stepping in and out, circling in either direction, bending at the waist to constantly move her head. Nothing rushed or frenzied--Hayek just fighting her fight, taking Monaco apart brick by brick. Playmate grunting with effort--fighting her heart out, but she’s pressing--swings are too big, going for too much--quite the contrast as Monaco misses the home ruin belt over the top, catches a digging single off her ribs. Final minute, Hayek’s worked Kelly to the ropes--Latina helps herself to jug just because she can. Monaco shouting aloud, giving away her hurt for the first time--she’s getting plundered and can’t stop the pounding at the bell.

R5: Salma never eases up--she’s got a broke-down girl in front of her, but doesn’t get stupid--strays on with the jab, keeps feinting Kelly, keeps moving her head and making Monaco miss. Kelly head-hunting, but the swings are limp and desperate now--easy rewards for Salma as Hayek dips and turns, blocks and leans. Salma heartless as she works her way in, bobs under a Monaco offering, then digs up into the ribcage, putting two together when she can to cripple her girl. Kelly’s face blank, eyes glassy--she’s shipped a lot of leather through five and she’s coming apart. Hayek stepping up the intensity at the midway point, now shooting straight rights and lefts to Kelly’s face, bashing away as Monaco staggers back, staring into blows. Monaco in stupor at the ropes--hands up weak to block--Salma bashing her way past the guard--1,2,3 up top, then hup-hup-hup downstairs, often twisting her hips to hook liver repeatedly. It’s all too much--Monaco finally giving way with a breathy sob, slouching to all fours as Hayek steps back. Latina looks down with a smoldering glare, then turns in her heel--Kelly can’t get off her knees. Clinical KO5 Salam Hayek.

After: Hayek showing about 3 minutes of respect in the early going, assessing her opponent to the last detail, then going about the business of dismantling Kelly with chilling efficiency. Monaco all heart, but entertaining Hef is one thing, boxing tough and experienced flyweights is another--Kelly’s got to develop soe skills to help set upher power and keep herself safe in there.
