O'Dell: "PEET WITH A STRAIGHT RIGHT! SCHERZINGER STAGGERED...LEFT HOOK, AMANDA...RIGHT HOOK! NICOLE ALMOST GOES DOWN!"

McCarthy: "Got her reaching AGAIN, Jenny!"

O'Dell: "Peet chasing her to the ropes. Scherzinger backed up. Amanda snapping the head back with a pair of hard rights. Left hook and Scherzinger staggers! Right hand snaps the head back again...IT'S OVER! IT'S OVER! Amanda Peet leaping in the air in celebration! She did it! Amanda Peet stops Nicole Scherzinger! Un. Believable!"

McCarthy: "Well, you fans who took MY pick to the windows have some extra spend money now, because the winner by TKO4 is Amanda Peet!"

TODAY:

"There's not a day I don't think about it," says a stone-faced Nicole. "What she took from me. Not a day. In over a year. But, after tonight, I won't have to think about it anymore. Because I'm taking mine back."

"Here's the mistake Nicole made last time," says a smiling Amanda. "The one she KEEPS making. She thinks she's better than me. But she isn't. I proved it once. And tonight, I'll prove it again. And if she can't handle that, well. My heart bleeds."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and sounds like there's a little bad blood here, Mac..."

McCarthy: "As there SHOULD be. There's going to be a FIGHT, not a play date!"

O'Dell: "And that's 'Don't Cha', you hear in the backgrouind, and here comes 'The Hawaiian Hammer', Nicole Scherzinger..."

McCarthy: "The Original Dancing Hooker. Who, just like all the REST of Weirdo's bantams, couldn't handle Mac The Knife..."

Tess: "Truck, take a close up of Neve Campbell in the Front Street corner. Because, apparently, once again, Mac has forgotten that Neve beat her SIX out of SEVEN, including TWICE last year..."

McCarthy: "DON'T LISTEN...GET THAT CAMERA OFF CAMPBELL...I WAS ROBBED! I WAS ROBBED TWICE! HOMETOWNED! ROLL THE TAPE, TRUCK! ROLL THE TAPE OF THE TITLE FIGHT! I WAS ROBB...WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T HAVE THE TAPE????"

O'Dell: "Now, calm DOWN, Mac! We don't want to see 'Swan Lake III: Season Of The Swan'..."

Tess: "Is Serinda in that one?"

O'Dell: "Um...it says here Kim Richards, Kyle Richards, Keith Richards, Michael Richards, Rosalind Richards, and Dr. Renee Richards..."

Tess: "No Denise Richards?"

O'Dell: "I'm being told she turned it down to do an ABC Family pilot called 'Socio'..."

Tess: "Ouch."

O'Dell: "Scherzinger into the ring. Helped off with the robe to reveal that pink and gray number she's been wearing recently...and that's 'Brighter Than Sunshine' by Aqualung and here comes Amanda..."

McCarthy: "Can we run the tape of her stopping Scherzinger again? I KNOW you have THAT one..."

O'Dell: "Peet's the only indie on the card here tonight..."

Tess: "If she wins, Mac, maybe you can sign her for Sceej. Since you keep talking about trading Munn..."

McCarthy: "Sceej says I'm not allowed to talk...I mean I am NOT DISCUSSING INTERNAL SCEEJ BUSINESS!"

O'Dell: "If you folks at home are wondering, I'm considering joining in the drinking game. Peet into the ring. Helped off with the robe to reveal the white two piece she wore the last time these two fought. Little staredown going on now. And, since we're about ready to go, let's get our picks. Tess on record as favoring Nicole. How about you, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Everybody was shocked last time because they all thought Peet wasn't that good. Well, she isn't. But neither is Scherzinger. I think Amanda will beat her again. And, remember, I called the upset last time!"

O'Dell: "There's the bell and here we go. Nicole out quickly, double-tapping that lef into Amanda's face, Peet misses a right hand, Scherzinger hooks with her own right in response, then circles behind the left. Amanda trying to jab from range like she did last time, but she's not finding Nicole..."

Tess: "Scherzinger ducking and dodging that left, countering with flurries of her own. Peet's not getting a thing done, but Nicole's scoring plenty."

O'Dell: "Amanda missing punch after punch here. Just can't find Scherzinger..."

McCarthy: "Has she checked the street corners? That's where she usually is!"

O'Dell: "Nicole landing right hand leads now. Bouncing side to side, snapping punches into Amanda's face almost at will. Peet covering up as Nicole lets go with both hands. Amanda misses a left-right and Nicole lands another three-punch flurry."

Tess: "Sounds funny to say this with as much work as she's getting done, but Nicky's being very patient. Not reaching. Moving her feet, getting in position. Getting off and scoring."

O'Dell: "And she lands one more flurry at the bell, then turns her back..."

Tess: "Pony Lash!"

O'Dell: "...and bounces to her corner without a backward glance."

McCarthy: "The referee should take a point! That was uncalled for!"

Tess: "He's not going to, however, and that means Nicole's up 10-9 after an excellent first round."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Underway in the second and Nicole upping the tempo, getting the hands going, pressuring Amanda. Peet thrown immediately to the defensive, being suppressed by sharp, accurate fire from Scherzinger..."

McCarthy: "Peet has to establish that jab. She needs to get something going to slow Scherzinger down..."

O'Dell: "Peet can't find her, Mac. Nicole's just not THERE by the time Amanda's glove arrives. And before the glove comes back, Nicole's ringing her up again!"

Tess: "Nicole not just controlling things now. She's touching Amanda up. A lot."

O'Dell: "Peet covering up more and more as the round goes on, eating a blizzard of leather...AND DOWN SHE GOES!"

McCarthy: "Right hook was the punch that did the damage!"

Tess: "THIS is the Alba-beating Nicole that wasn't much in evidence the first time around"

O'Dell: "Referee's count to five. Six. Peet getting to her feet. She'll take the mandatory. Ref will let it continue. Nicole right back to work, tossing leather at Amanda. Peet covering up, but still touched up!"

Tess: "Nicole still patient. Not going all in. Not getting sloppy."

O'Dell: "She definitely is not. She's scoring with sharp, accurate stuff to the bell. Great round for Scherzinger!"

Tess: "And she's built a nice early lead, 20-17 through two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third round begins with Peet now starting to find the range with that long left jab. She's keeping Nicole outside with it, looking to find space for the right hand."

McCarthy: "This is the formula for Amanda. Fight at range, control Scherzinger with the jab. Don't let her use all that dancing and hooking to her advantage..."

O'Dell: "Peet timing Nicole better now, and lands a HARD right that got her attention!"

McCarthy: "Scherzinger's buzzed! She never DID have a chin!"

O'Dell: "Amanda looking to follow up, but Nicole having none of it. Scherzinger moving and slipping punches. More than willing to run some clock right now."

McCarthy: "Amanda banking some points with that left hand, but it's all single shots. Can't bring Nicole to battle long enough to put punches together."

O'Dell: "Final seconds ticking off, and Amanda Peet has firmed up and won her first round of the night."

Tess: "Still 29-27 for Scherzinger, but Peet's gotten in the fight."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "The fourth of a scheduled ten underway and Amanda now working forward behind that long left jab and...DOWN SHE GOES! OHH, WHAT A KNOCKDOWN BY NICOLE SCHERZINGER! I'M NOT EVEN SURE WHERE THAT PUNCH CAME FROM!"

Tess: "Well, I can tell you AMANDA never saw it!"

O'Dell: "Peet to her knees at six. Seven. Eight. She's getting to her feet. Referee going to give her the mandatory and let this continue. And on comes Nicole! Scherzinger a buzzsaw of leather, driving Amanda back into the ropes and lighting her up! Snapping the head back with a right. Again! Again! Peet being hammered unmercifully along the ropes! RIGHT HOOK! AMANDA'S KNEES BUCKLED...AND IT'S OVER! THE REFEREE STOPPING IT, AND YOUR WINNER BY TKO4, IS 'THE HAWAIIAN HAMMER', NICOLE SCHERZINGER!"

Tess: "Let's check the replay of that knockdown. Show this in super slo-mo, truck. This is circus stuff. Nicole leans away from a left hand, the punch just misses her chin, and look at her right hand. It's down at her hip. Now, watch her weight all come forward as the hand comes up. Right foot jab steps as the hand comes out of a HOLSTER and blasts into Amanda's chin before she can get her glove anywhere close to back! Look at the head swivel! That punch ended the fight for all intents a purposes."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Nicole Scherzinger, and, Nicky, talk about what this win means..."

Nicole: "In the rankings, probably not much. But, for me, it's very important. I had to come out here and do what I did tonight. I needed to PROVE last time was a fluke, that the real Nicole is the one you saw against Anderson, and Vandervoort, and Alba. Because that IS the real Nicole. The one who can beat any bantam in the world."
