The fifth and final bout of the night has the second guest from Australia present, the lovely singer Delta Goodrem, who makes her BBU debut against fellow singer Su-Elise Nash. Goodrem destroyed Vanessa Amorosi on home turf over a year ago but hasn't fought since and the newcomer Nash, veteran of just one fight which she lost to the impressive Dutch model Doutzen Kroes, might fancy her chances much better this time around.

Both girls bring some much needed welter presence to the BBU with Goodrem's compatriot Erika Heynatz ruling the division with an iron fist in the last few months. Delta has set her sights on that trophy later this year but she really needs to take care of Nash rather quickly if she wants to impress the BBU pundits. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Nash on the charge early, lashes after the blonde with single strikes on the head but fails to connect as the blonde jinks around her and counters from the side, smacks a series against the English girl's ribs and tries to find more success on the face but Su covers up well and forces a clinch. Deltra targets the midsection after the command again, has Nash quick on her feet but visibly overwhelmed by the intensity of the effort and exposing herself on the right with Goodrem finding her range quickly and peppering the English girl's body for most of the round. Nash tries to respond with overhand shots on the face but looks to be suffering already with Delta's clinical precision making the all-important difference and leaving Su-Elise blinking in disbelief at the bell.

Round 2:
Delta walks her rival down and blocks Su's early charge, slams more punches to the ribcage herself, has no trouble with going around the English girl's elbows as she dwarfs her footwork and agility, flicks an uppercut on the chin and follows up with more jabs on the tummy which just makes Nash moan in pain and remain where she's at! Goodrem clubs the fellow singer's body again, avoids a clinching attempt and skims off the temple with a high hook as Nash nails her on the ribs herself, leans on the blonde and looks to find some success with wide slaps from both flanks but only grazes the forearms, Delta sidesteps from close range, whips a hook on the mouth and laces Su-Elise on the jugs with another follow up which just keeps the English girl at bay for remainder of the round and the Beever's camp looks increasingly worried after two rounds.

Round 3:
One has the feeling Goodrem hasn't kicked into high gear jus yet but Su-Elise lets another chance begging when she misses an early jabbing attempt, still has no answer to the Aussie's speed and agility and eats an overhand right on the nose in response with more shots coming in quick succession as Delta opens up from both wings and peppers the high-guard, splis the mitts with ease and bounces off the nose again which has the first drops of blood coming out much to Su's dismay. Delta notices that too and just increases the intensity, some lethal firepower on hand as she shatters the English singer's guard again and tries to make a real mess of her face now, clubbing the cumbersome rival on the face and pushing her back to the ropes as Su looks truly gob smacked by her rival's performance. She tries to force a clinch but Delta whacks her on the navel and bends in half before firing an uppercut on the jaw that wobbles her on the spot but the bell comes to Su-Elise's rescue albeit she looks totally out of depth against this blonde vixen from Australia!

Round 4:
Delta finally ups the tempo, seemingly she's had enough of playing around with her rival and smacks her on the chest early; flicks a piercing uppercut follow-up and snaps Su's head back before launching a body attack in full force and hammering her foe's ribs. Nash weaves around on her feet, skims off the forearms in a weak response before eating a straight jab on the nose and wobbling back. Goodrem piles in with more shots on the head, peppers the guard and break it with repeated attacks, nails Su on the mouth and pushes her back to the ropes. She ducks under a wide hooking counter and clubs the English singer on the chest, pummels the rack thereafter and makes Su-Elise wince in pain before landing a cross-hook on the nose which bends Nash to the side and causes her arms to drop. Left hook on the temple follows, a right jab on the navel gets it done eventually and SU-ELISE CRASHES ONTO HER KNEES!!! Delta removes the hair from her hair and walks back to the neutral corner as the English singer gets up at seven but stares at the blonde with no real venom in her eyes and looks unlikely to make a comeback. Goodrem on the move after the command, bashes the stunned rival on the chest and tries to find more success on the head however Su covers up her face well this time and avoids the leather landing on her head. Not such luck downstairs as Delta hammers her around the elbows and leaves sagging at the ropes regardless and the moaning only gets louder with the Cardiff crowd expecting a swift knockout pending. Bell.

Round 5:
Nash is visibly bruised after the pounding she took in the previous round but Goodrem shows her no sympathy and lashes out straight from the bell; nails her on the mouth seconds into the fifth and continues to rain punches, leaving the English girl totally overwhelmed by the intensity of the osnalught. Su loses her footing, has her head snapped back repeatedly and can't raise her arms in time anymore with Delta clubbing heavy leather to the face, just an unanswered barrage of punches now turning Su-Elise's face into a swollen mess and just thirty seconds into the round poor Nash HITS THE CANVAS HARD ON HER BACKSIDE AND ROLLS ONTO HER SIDE!! More tears of misery on display in Cardiff tonight and Goodrem threatens to demolish her rival in a true career-ending fashion. Teary-eyed Su-Elise makes a gallant effort to beat the count though, gets up on her knees at seven and launches herself upright at nine just making it back on time. Delta is ready to punch her further though and releases a primal scream from her lungs. Ref looks Su deep in the eyes and she just stares at the blonde in the opposite corner but one has to question whether she can actually see her. She drops her arms again and fails to respond to the ref's urgent talk.... Nope, man in charge escorts a visibly shaken Nash back to her corner! TKO R5 Delta Goodrem!!!

Post-fight:
The Aussie singer surely silenced some critics and showed no signs of rustiness after a long lay-off period. The slow start looks to have been just a mere game plan to see what Nash's got up her sleeve but once Goodrem got going, there was no stopping her. Perhaps she's the one who'll stop Erika Heynatz's mazy run through the welter division however the likes of Nicola McLean and Alex Curran might have other ideas.

Meanwhile for Su-Elise Nash, just as was the case with Doutzen Kroes on her debut, she might have been mismatched here against Goodrem despite the latter's obvious destructive presence. Nash's future doesn't look all that bad as her record indicates but she needs to secure a confidence building victory to finally announce herself among the BBU competition.
