BEFORE: "You guys need to realize something," Bilson tells press in prefight, "I'm one of the best fighting talents to ever come out of the CW. Me moving against Kristen Bell shouldn't shock anybody: the girl isn't a pipe-dream for me, she's on my target-list! I'm not cannon-fodder for Krissy Bell, or any of these girls: I'm whippet-fit and aggressive as hell, and I don't back down from anyone. You want to make me a huge 'dog in this fight, that's your business, but I'll tell you this: when I paste the pretty off this chick, you're going to look like idiots for talking me down!"

Bell living up to her promise to be a fighting champion - snapping up the first woman to speak out against her reign and promising to make an example of Rachel. "She's got brass, I'll give her that," Bell grins at podium. "Spunk. Pluck. All that good stuff girls have before they turn quitter under intense bombardment. This is going to be a great lesson for the division as a whole: if you speak out against me, you better be prepared to back it up, because I'm stepping-to all comers. Rachel thought she could drop some tuff-girl snark at my expense and make herself look good with no consequences? Big mistake. I'm all about the consequences, and whirlin' the hurt to Rachel's going to be a great way to kick off my reign of terror!"

Rache in fuscia/dark purple bandeau with a kind of tiger print or vine print motif; small black gloves; low battle bun with beach bangs. Kristen in pale blue bandeau with patterns in slightly darker blue; small white gloves; world's friskiest high pony with beach bangs.

During R1: Rachel sets the tone with a slender-limbed whipping right wide to flank: small glove landing with a solid PIK! in Krissy's taut little chassis. Kristen fighting with furious pout, cashing in body via right/left uppercuts...Rachel refusing to wilt, answering back the wide left hook in batting 2s and 3s, then exchanging stiff right hands to mouth. Bilson getting the better of raucous trade - backing a startled KBell up and making her work: champ frazzled at bell as girls trade pasting right/lefts to face - Bilson getting the firmer touches.

R2: Kristen hard-eyed, tight-lipped as she goes about the business of reducing her foe. Spitting jabs skid and chip off Rachel's pretty face/brows, setting up wicked left hooks to ribs behind right elbow; shoveling right hands to flat gut; nimble pivots to turn either brunette flank. Bilson grimacing - pressing wrists together at mouth/keeping elbows tight to her body as Krissy's getting off - blonde girl's small, hard mitts scouring brunette's lithe frame PIK! PAK! PEK! Bilson picked apart, but courageous: she's covering up best she can, taking what she must in a KBell second.

R3: Same again - Bilson inching forward; Kristen getting off like a ferocious little champion. Bell showing a frowning-pout throughout: pinging the jab; baring teeth as she digs in hooks behind elbow; squaring away in spots to clip away snappy right/left uppercuts in dizzying flurries. Rachel in that tight wrists-together configuration - taut body getting spanked, but legs holding up well...she can't get off against torrents of Kris Bell combination-punching, but Rache proving durable and insistent, pressurizing the champ with steady forward stepping.

R4: Rachel jabbing, scuffing Krissy's brows; Krissy jabbing back, chippin' at the pretty. Bell hooking off the jab to ribcage; Rachel sweeping the limber wide right loud to flank as girls circle and strike. Midway through, limber whippets lean in close and let hands go: crowd-pleasing tic-tac-toe lights up both torsos, but Bell's final curling left uppercut locates chin, unhinging Bilson's knees in exchange. Rachel stumbling out of orbit all big-brown-eyes a-blinking...KBell heartless in pursuit, walking Rachel down to ropes, then going at her. Torrid, lathering work as blonde girl unleashes her combination-punching savagery - lashing away in rising, diagonal arcs with both fists. Rachel crying out as she sits into ropes, stooping forward face-in-gloves...Bell baring her fangs, going all-in to finish, but can't find the quit-switch through 4. BREAK: Bell chest heaving, eyes blazing as she gives Rachel a searing look; Bilson trembling, lower lip quivering, but defiantly meeting Kristen's gaze...Rachel's just made it past the over/under for this fight.

R5: Kris trying to impose will on Rachel, encountering fierce resistance...limber brunette embroiling lissom blonde in a series of vicious toe-to-toe engagements all around the ring. Bilson retreating in good order at the open, letting Krissy initiate/walk into clever brunette counters...as Rachel repulses blonde advances, she gradually goes over to offence, taking canvas away from KBell. Grim, grudging retreat from proud champion: Rachel face-jabbing like a champ; parking that sweeping right in above Krissy's left hip; outworking Bell in torrid exchanges. Down the stretch, it's a scowling, frazzled champion forming a tight wrists-together-at-mouth look with her elbows in close, taking PIK! PAK! PEK! abuse to either flank! BELL: oh the LOOK Rachel gives Kristen...a scowling-pout for the ages as brunette's still in this fight!

R6: Quick march to victory hasn't materialized...scuffed up Krissy Bell commits herself to grim, grinding attrition. Blonde jabs her way in - crowding ear to ear while hooking breadbasket; tossing the extended left elbow like an extra mitt in there as she's nudging Bilson around. Rachel happy to oblige inside - throwing left shoulder into Krissy's tits; digging up blonde gut hup-hup-hup...Bell forced to fight for every inch of canvas taken. Vicious, scouring work - blonde girl positioning her head on either brunette shoulder, rolling hup-hup right/lefts to gut; carving away tightly clipped uppercuts; bumping and jostling. Krissy warned for grabbing Rachel's bandeau top with small-glove purchase, spinning brunette around, holding and hitting her...Bell petulant, impatient whenever ref pulls her aside for a quick rebuke.

R7: Right back into the swamp - li'l vixens crowding close, then going at each other's torsos hup-hup-hup, starting in well-toned waistlines and chewing their way north. Minute mark, crazy exchange in withering close-in combinations sees Bell's legs give a shimmy...she wobbles out of orbit all blinking and confused: BLONDE GIRL HURT! Rachel baring teeth - throwing out the jab at Krissy eye-line to screen, then leaning into that cruel, sweeping right to flank PAK! Bell moaning, stumbling into ropes all frazzled and forlorn. KBell pressing heels of her hands into her cheeks, keeping elbows tight to ribcage/tummy...OH how Rachel beats her! Bilson squaring away in wide stance, lashing hips/flanks wide, whirling left/rights with palm-down delivery, then hacking at Krissy's jaw lines with palm-up chopping action! Bell licked and strapped senseless...Rachel Bilson never better - just going at a blonde girl with every ounce of hate in her bones. BELL: Kristen paralyzed, sagging in ropes...Rachel lashing away all teeth bared, eyes feral until ref pulls her off from behind!

R8: Grim, grueling stuff as Kristen wades into Rachel, intent on winning back the initiative. Bilson scrappy, fearless - getting lit up by savage, snapping right/left combos, but bobbing her way forward, answering back hot. Bell bumping with the left shoulder, throwing the left elbow, pivoting around Bilson's left elbow...blonde girl negotiating little angles for herself with intelligent footwork - gradually nibbling out a slender lead in terms of punch-stats. Krissy's biting left hook in the waist/under right elbow starting to cramp Rachel up, but brunette plucky - even when visibly hurt, she's answering back.

R9: Another of those dangerous, whirling exchanges of tightly-clipped combinations...this time Rachel's legs give a shimmy - she's stepping in fence-post holes hurrrt! Kristen hopping to stay close, hooking at toned waist-meat; chopping short-righty to ear; carving the left uppercut in close; revisiting the waist via left hook PIK! Bilson cringing forward in tight V-front - heels of her hands in her cheeks/elbows together at stomach. Bell lashing away, putting her back into hateful, stroking blows - small mitts pelting off Rachel's fat-free chassis as little brunette stoops forward, crippled. Agonizing to watch, but down the stretch, Bell punches herself out and BILSON STARTS TO OPERATE! Rachel visibly reduced, but finding chin via the sticky left uppercut; sweeping that dependable right wide above hip...Kristen grimacing, laying in, crowding and bumping in spots to run clock.

R10: Safety-first KBell...she comes out sprinking the jab to keep Rachel covered up...Bilson showing that wrists-together-at-mouth look, just letting jabs chip and scuff at her. Kris feeding a tuff right hand to Rachel's belly; scraping hook across guard; pivoting-left around the hook...blonde girl turning her brunette, running the clock smart. Bilson inching forward, trying to initiate trade, but blonde girl leggy, sidestepping alot - even tugging bandeau for cheap spinaramas to bring the ref in hot. Kris doing just enough - tattooing Rachel's flanks and arms, keeping her off balance...Bell salts away the tenth, wins the fight UD10.

After: Kristen's hand raised, but Rachel's face full of defiance...li'l brunette exceeds expectations with a fiery performance against one of the best technicians in the game. "I wanted rounds, she gave me rounds," Krissy shrugs defensively in postfight. "She didn't hurt me...she never had control of the fight...this was me taking it to Rachel Bilson all night long. Was she more stubborn that we anticipated? Perhaps, I mean, we thought she'd wilt and give in at some point but for whatever reason, she decided to compete tonight. That's to be expected: girls get up for Kristen Bell. I'm basically the Charlize Theron of flyweight - obviously that's a huge opportunity for someone like Rachel, and she fought hungry."
