Miriam looks up and ready for this fight, clad for the event in a blue bikini and red gloves. Jessie J is in a black bikini with black gloves, and she’s looking pretty serious about the fight she’s about to have.
Round 1
The ladies move out, and they touch gloves as the fight begins. They jab back and forth for the first minute trying to feel each other out. Jessie follows a jab with a firm right to Miriam's head. Miriam is able to slip the punch and hammer Jessie with a right. Jessie grimaces as she draws back. Miriam stalks her to the corner but Jessie dances sideways along the ropes. Miriam pursues setting up a right that misses, allowing Jessie to connect with a left/right to her head. Miriam staggers. Miriam shakes it off, moving to meet Jessie as the bell calls the end of the round.
Round 2
The ladies meet in the center of the ring. Defense is still the theme of the fight, as each lady knows that the other has real knockout potential. Miriam attempts a power punch but misses. Jessie slips a solid right punch into Miriam's face. Miriam covers up, backing away. Jessie follows cornering Miriam but misses with her punch. Miriam responds as she batters Jessie’s body with a barrage of punches. Jessie blocks some but a couple solid rights penetrate her defense scoring on her left breast. Miriam charges in to put her away but Jessie manages to lash out with a firm right that lands flush on Miriam's left eye. The bell rings.
Round 3
The ladies come out promptly to meet. Miriam's eye is swollen almost half shut. She knows that it will close in the next few rounds so she has to take the fight to Jessie trying for a knockout in the next couple of rounds. Miriam moves aggressively as Jessie backs away in defense. Miriam persists but misses with right. Jessie takes advantage of the miss by driving a stinging right under Miriam's chin. Miriam's legs buckle and she falls onto her firm butt. She remains sitting trying to shake off the punch as the ref counts. Miriam rolls onto her knees, then gets to her feet by 7. Jessie J charges in with a left/right combination but Miriam Leone isn't as shaky as she appeared and comes up with a well time block which creates an opening for a right hook to Jessie's jaw. Jessie collapses to the mat, ending up face down. This could be a knockout. The ref begins the count........Jessie is on her feet at 8 but she's in trouble. Miriam tries to end the fight but fortunately for Jessie , the bell rings ending a wild round.
Round 4
Jessie comes out of her corner , Miriam moves in to do a little more bruising before she goes for the knock out. Jessie squeals as she takes a right. Jessie moves in on Miriam with a flurry of lefts and right forcing Miriam to the corner. Jessie pummels Miriam's midsection, and Miriam crawls between the ropes to halt Jessie's punishment. The ref begins the count ....... Miriam gets to her feet, Jessie moves in targeting Miriam's face, then trying for the big right as Miriam's chin is exposed. Miriam retaliates and we have another toe to toe exchange. Miriam digs a low left. The bell sounds ending the round.
Round 5
Miriam looks a little unsteady as she gets to her feet. She is turning her head to see which means her left eye is totally closed now. Miriam moves forward with a left /right combination. Miriam leaves her chin open. Jessie strikes with cobra like speed, a right, a left, followed by another right, all three landing on target, Miriam's chin. Miriam is out before she hits the mat. The ref counts, Miriam is spread out flat on her back, The count is 8, 9, 10. OUT!!!! Miriam doesn't move. .
