(Venue: Open air boxing in the main Aussie Open tennis stadium, ring on the court; 11am start time).

BEFORE: Headlines around the sporting world shouting "MICHELLE JENNEKE: CUTTING DOWN THE WOMEN OF THE WTA" following one good win...Kerber's had enough. "I'd like to get this girl in my bearhug," Angelique says ferociously in prefight, referencing her feared reputation in hugging contests, "let's see her wriggle her way out THAT. Seriously, Wozniacki's not made of the sternest stuff. German steel is the hardest and best in the world: it will take more than a fancy dance for Michelle to compete!"

Jenneke irrepressible - always grinning and fun - she's not intimidated by her brawny, scowling foe. "I've fought German girls on our beaches back home," Michelle smiles at podium, "Twist their arms, punch their tummies...their tears are just as pretty as Italian or Japanese. Kerber's a strong girl, that's apparent, but tennis girls are pampered. They wouldn't last 5 minutes at a track meet!"

During R1: Kerber scoots out lefty - right foot forward; lead (right) hand dangling; left cocked close to her chin. Kerbs pretty kinetic - bouncing into position, then slide-stepping; bobbing her torso; lifting snappy up-jabs into Aussie tummy or guard - always looking for strong left hands up the middle. Jenneke dukes up, probing with the jab, pivoting to match Angelique's direction-shifts. Blonde girl picking spots to weave her way inside, initiating tight-tossing two-way body lashing...fighters bobbing cheek-to-cheek - hands held in loose crossed-arms at chests, exchanging wicked, carving licks across waist or clouting at one another's beefy biceps. Thumping stuff - both women landing with zeal - but Kerber cuter in the huddle - bumping 'chelle off with a shoulder, then pivoting to turn her; withdrawing to walk-around and reset. Blonde girl as clever as she is brawny - dictating terms to a willing Jenneke through 1.

R2: Jenneke fighting big - stepping in a stiff left jab; dropping straight right hands; palming Kerber's shoulders and pushing blonde girl back, then walking her down. Systematic punch-n'-push pursuit from Jenneke - banging away up top, getting Kerber to cover-and-bob, then strapping her thick amidships. Grim, thumping retreat for Germany as Kerber's bullied out of her positions...leads to a serious final minute when a Jenneke left uppercut picks blonde-girl up onto her toes, nearly pitching her to her face. Kerber's strong legs hold her up, but she's a reeling disaster all blinking and hurt to ropes...bell sounds before Jenneke can pounce on in to finish. Big grin Michelle en-route to corner: she loves to punch!

R3: Kerber recovers well - shoulders hunched, she bounces and steps economically around - lifting the up-jab from right hip while feinting, bobbing her head and turning her girl midring. Jenneke throwing lusty, missing over the top as German girl bobs-under: Kerber's now lifting her right to shoulder-height, chopping the right jab down across mouth; slotting heavy left hands into 'chelle's rack...brunette moved off-stance by the weight of German shot. Midway through, Jenneke over to offence, bouncing forward to slug...Kerber anticipates pressure, slides back towards her own corner with her lead (right) arm dangling and OH: she walks Jenneke into a gorgeous, batting left hand delivered with an almost straight arm to Aussie solar plexus. DOWN GOES 'CHELLE! Michelle shouting in shock, pitching to hands and knees, then rolling to her back in gut-shot agony - arms wrapping tummy, knees up and flopping side to side, head tilted back with eyes shut tight as she spits her mouth piece out. KO3 to the body as Kerber unleashes hell from the baseline!

After: Kerber smirking as she steps around writhing brunette - offering a mocking little hip-dance before glove-removal...shattering experience for poor Michelle as she's taken out by a perfect body blast. "Bet she never saw that on an Australian beach," Kerber laughs in postfight. "She's a strong girl, but stupid and hittable...and I did not believe those who said she could not be hurt to the body. She's a blundering fool in the ring - I knew she would chase after me and I knew she could not take my power!"
