Miley has already won at bantamweight, beating Alesha Dixon, and now she takes on Australian lovely Sophie, who has described her as a ‘chirping puppet’, and resolved to teach her a lesson. Miley is remaining cool, but has privately admitted that she wants to hurt Sophie, not just beat her.

Miley steps into the ring first, and she’s hot tonight, wearing a lacy scarlet bra and pants set, pouting sesually as Sophie joins her, the Australian in black leather microskirt and white bustier.

Round 1

Miley’s looking really frisky as she starts, really bouncing on her toes, and she takes it straight to Sophie, swipes at the older girl, clipping her with a right hook on the chin, and she moves downstairs now, goes for Sophie’s ribcage, but Sophie fights back, left hooking Miley to the face three times. As Miley backpedals, Sophie follows, and she pops the younger girl’s head back, then she switches her attack downstairs, shows Miley how it’s done as she rips a heavy left hook on her, then she follows up with a right hander that she whips across and up from her hip, and she’s put Miley on her back! Miley’s on her feet again at 5, not wishing to show she’s hurt, but she’s slow, and Sophie hits her again in the mouth, then the cheek, and Miley looks a touch crestfallen at the bell.

Round 2

Sophie’s building on what she’s done, and she’s pushing Miley about – the kid’s not used to this type of treatment, and doesn’t like it when Sophie nails her with a swift one-two, then thuds a right hook smack on her cheek. Miley’s on the ropes in every sense here, and Sophie’s got her again with the right, Miley clinching, peering over the Australian’s shoulder, and her left cheek is red, and already she has a lump appearing. Sophie pushes her way out of the clinch, swings at Miley again, but doesn’t connect, but Miley does as she counter punches, and she’s off the ropes now, snapping some good shots onto Sophie’s face. Now the girls trade punches, and Miley hurts Sophie with her left, and she follows up, too, getting some good shots in now, straight punches, rocking Sophie’s head backwards, and she looks good as the round ends.

Round 3

Miley still has a swollen cheek to contend with, but she’s after Sophie again, and she whips a couple of good punches past those defensive gloves and into the Australian’s face. Sophie’s head rips backwards again, but she won’t let Miley have things her own way, and she comes back, hits the American with a good combination, but this time Miley seems to ride the punches better, and she’s countering, gives Sophie a great left hook, follows with another, and the Australian stumbles a little, and she’s covering up. Miley goes for the body, and hurts Sophie – Sophie’s on her knees! The girl gets up at 7, but Miley’s really going for her now, although Sophie’s never going to give her ground, and she fights back again, her punches good enough to make Miley back off, but the round draws to a close with Miley again landing to Sophie’s face, her jabs causing problems, and she’s hurting her.

Round 4

Now Miley’s going for the knockout, really pouring into Sophie, and hammering at her body, switching to the head, now, and she stings the Australian with two good straight lefts, making her stagger backwards, now unloads again. Sophie still does what she can, hooks Miley to the face again, but Miley drills her belly with a straight left, gets her on the chin with her right, and Sophie’s down again! Miley raises her arms as she sees the Australian spitting blood on the canvas, then getting to her feet at 7 again. Sophie’s gutsy, but she looks weakened by the battering she’s taken, and she’s taking more now, as Miley unloads again, smacking Sophie’s head sideways, and she’s hurt her to the body again, big shot to the belly, and that’s folded Sophie over and down, and the bell sounds with Sophie taking a count on her hands and knees, but she survives it.

Round 5

Sophie needs a big round, but she’s on the wrong end of the opening exchanges, with Miley sending her hard and accurate jabs to the face, and this is weakening Sophie’s resolve as well as her body. Miley hits her again, the Australian drifting ropewards, but maybe the snap’s not in those punches any more, and maybe Miley’s losing her strength too? Sophie counters, hooks Miley hard with her right, but Miley rat-a-tats punches in her face, then gives her that solid body punch to the belly again, and Sophie’s gasp tells the younger girl she’s hurt her. She tries to mask her pain by counter attacking, but Miley hammers her to the face again, and Sophie just about sees the round out.

Round 6

The referee has checked Sophie out between rounds, and the girls set – to again, with Miley beating Sophie to the punch, doubling up her efforts, and this is just assault now, as the American girl lays into the Australian, cheered on by her British fans here in Cardiff. Still Sophie is doing all she can to fight back, but another big punch to her jaw sends her back into the ropes, and the referee jumps between the girls, at last showing some mercy.

Result: Miley Cyrus stopped Sophie Monk in round 6.

Miley is very popular in the UK, and she’s doing very well as a BBU bantamweight, having hurt plenty of flyweights. She wants a title shot, and a fight with Clara Morgane is being considered.
