Denise van Outen has arranged this rematch, with the improving Tulisa a hot favourite to send the declining Alesha to another crushing defeat. They fought back in December 2011, when Alesha had too much for Tulisa, but the younger singer wants this, really wants it.
Alesha enters the ring first for this fight, and she looks as great as ever in lacy black bra and pants, soon joined by Tulisa is a red and white striped bikini, and the girls are eyeballing one another immediately, keen to get this on.
Round 1
Alesha’s good and mobile here, and she darts into Tulisa, but the younger girl’s no slouch, and she’s landing the first punches of the fight, a right jab, then a left, and Alesha backs off, the girls now watching each other carefully – again Alesha attacks, and this time she lands, nice left jabs on Tulisa’s face there, but Tulisa hits her in the body, good shots to her abdomen, enough to make Alesha clinch to recover. The girls are parted by the referee, and Tulisa takes the fight to Alesha now, right jab homing in on her face, and this is good boxing from Tulisa, the younger girl being quite assured, and Alesha again has to clinch as Tulisa hits her to the ribs, and the punches she’s putting on Alesha’s body are causing her some distress – the older girl grimacing as the referee parts them again. Alesha lands the first punches after the break, bopping Tulisa’s face, but Tulisa responds with a solid left hook to Alesha’s liver, then she rips another left hook into her face, follows it with another, and this is a bad end to the round for Alesha, back on the ropes, Tulisa finding her with the right as well before the bell.
Round 2
Tulisa looks super-confident now, and she’s quickly into the attack, half pushing Alesha into a neutral corner, giving it to her body again – these are good, softening up tactics by the younger girl, and she’s so quick, Alesha can’t find an answer right now, and she gets drawn into an exchange of punches – she lands a good left jab to Tulisa’s mouth, then hooks her with her right, comes off the ropes as Tulisa steps back, but she’s taken a good one-two in response, Tulisa’s gloves bouncing off her face, and the younger girl goes for the uppercut, grazes Alesha’s lips with that, not quite a solid connection. She got enough on Alesha to send the girl backwards, though, and the older girl’s backed up on the ropes, with Tulisa giving her some punishment, the punches landing in her ribcage from either side, Alesha gasping and groaning, unable to clinch, and now Tulisa gives her a real peach of a right hook to the mouth, now a left, now a right jab – Alesha’s bleeding from the nose – another left, another right – Alesha’s down! She took some hammer from Tulisa there, but she’s up again at 8, but it’s more of the same, as Tulisa gets that hook into her liver again, Alesha’s jaw drops as she squeaks, another uppercut skids past her cheek, but the left hook connected on her mouth straight after, and Alesha’s down again! Up she gets at 8, but she’s dazed and wobbling on rubber legs – great punch to the belly from Tulisa – but that’s the bell!
Round 3
Alesha’s slow to come out for the third, her lips and left cheek swollen, and Tulisa flicks three right jabs into the centre of her face immediately, her nose bleeding again, and now Tulisa thuds a couple more big hooks into those aching ribs – backwards goes Alesha and onto those ropes again – once more an uppercut whistles past Alesha’s nose, she goes to counter, but Tulisa hooks her to the face, mouth first, then the eye – cut her cheek open there – and Alesha’s almost down, knees shaky as she clinches the younger girl, and Tulisa doesn’t need the referee to pull Alesha away this time, just pushes her backwards herself. Tulisa smacks two right hooks into Alesha’s face, and she’s moving her along the ropes, right into her own corner, the turnbuckle having the effect of propping Alesha up – and now Tulisa slams Alesha, blood and snot spraying as she hammers punches into that battered face, and she looks so dazed, can’t take much more, surely? Tulisa hooks her to the mouth again, and Alesha slumps forwards, facedown on the canvas, and most definitely out!
Result: Tulisa Contostavlos knocked Alesha Dixon out in round 3.
That was brutal!
It’s a shame to see Alesha getting used up like this, but with Denise van Outen now controlling her matchmaking, this could get messy! There’s talk of Emily Scott getting in the ring with her next, and Leah Dizon is openly taking of busting Alesha up. |
