Before: Both fighters primed for a rematch after a contentious, blisteringly-paced bout in the fall. Sarah: “I owe this girl a jug-mugging. And since she’s just the type to go all flighty just for spite, I had to insist on JMD to make sure she gets what’s coming to her!”

“I’m the total package at 120 on down! I’m going to prove that it was a fluke in October, and then I’m going to take my time and really show her who’s boss when I smother her out,” Leighton enthusiastic in expectation of getting back in a winning way.

R1: Girls stepping into each other, with heads up and chests out. Leighton slapping out punches side-to-side, sending Sarah’s chest a-swaying. Shahi coming straight up the middle, jostling Meester’s rack with short little Ricci/Chabert type uppercuts and half-hooks underneath. Constant scrubbing of crowd-pleasing leather dominates the round. Late, Sarah begins to crouch down before erupting into full-fledged uppercuts to rack and ribs, driving Leighton back as Shahi takes a close opening round.

R2: More of the same. Lots of volume going both ways, but Sarah’s got that extra touch. The smaller girl takes a wider stance in the flat-footed trading, lowering her center of gravity even further. Add in her faster, more compact delivery, and she’s giving and taking a better punch through 2.

R3: Sarah ducks a gambling overhand right from Leighton, gets her left shoulder into Meester’s right armpit, then levers the bigger girl into the ropes. Shahi has position and exploit’s the added leverage to fit great, shoveling blows to tummy and tits. Nothing coming back from Leighton, she’s just sponging, cringing, desperately trying to push her way off the ropes, but can’t make any headway against those curvy legs of the DCC veteran. Another shrugging uppercut, finds Meester’s solar plexus, doubles her over. AND THE REF’S SEEN ENOUGH! TKO 3 Sarah Shahi as she simply rolls over Leighton Meester!

After: Sarah all business once the gloves come off, pulling Leighton out into the middle of the ring. Leighton weepy with her chest out, tummy trembling. Sarah sweeps her legs out from under her, then pulls her hair forward, sweeping it over her shoulders as she straddles her prey. Pinning Meester’s shoulders down, she sweeps the hanging, sweat-soaked locks over Leighton’s face and cleavage a few times, Meester frantically twisting her head side-to-side in an effort to avoid the humiliation.

The smother, when it comes, is quite workmanlike. Tired of wiping the sweat off herself, Sarah flips her hair back, then bundles her prize up and snuggles Leighton into her cleavage. A big smile lights up her face as Meester wriggles to-and-fro, trying to find a way out. As Leighton’s struggles slow, Sarah eases her down to the canvas. When Meester goes out, Sarah heaves herself upright, then makes her exit, leaving Leighton laid out in the ring, not looking back.
