The final bout of the night is also the most meaningful one as BBU bantamweight champion Jessica Schwarz (Lioness Club) takes on old nemesis Lisa Maffia (Beever's Babes) whom she stopped in December to earn a right to fight then-champion Elodie Frege. Having dispatched the French blonde, Schwarz makes the first defence of her second bantam reign against the English singer who still looks to become the first ever multiple division champion in BBU history, having held the lightweight honors back in 2011.

Round 1:
It was a furious fight last time around these two met and Maffia just charges out of her stool and begins hammering the champ straight from the bell. Jessica seemingly didn't expect such a huge aggression from her rival and gets nailed by couple of hooks on the cheeks before she can cover up but Lisa's all after her anyway and bashes to the tummy, splits the arms and bounces off the rack causing the German to scowl in unexpected manner. More from Lisa follows as she whips a cross-hook on the head, splits the gloves again and pings the cumbersome champion on the nose... one...two quick shots wobble Schwarz on her feet and root her to the spot moments later as Lisa pummels to the ribcage before Jessica can clinch her in desperate fashion but it's all Maffia for remainder of the round, picking off the champ with more single shots and quite frankly Schwarz has barely landed a punch there!

Round 2:
There's rarely been such a support for London-based fighter in Manchester but Maffia brings the crowd back on their feet with more leather onto the German's midsection and she really looks well-prepared for tonight's bout even though Beever's Babes head coach is missing from Lisa's corner as Denise Lewis launched back her active career and currently tours Australia trying to catch the attention of welterweight powerhouse Erika Heynatz. Well, Lisa looks as good as Heynatz so far, bashing ferocious leather to Schwarz's ribcage and keeping the champ moaning and groaning in the ring, a complete turnaround from their December clash. Jessica tries to respond, misses couple of hooks though and eats a left hand on the nose, right hand on the temple and Maffia is on a charge again, pummelling to the stomach and pushing the German back to the ropes where only the bell saves the champion from suffering more damage.

Round 3:
Is Lisa on drugs tonight? She's up after Jessica again from the bell and pouring shots on the body, Schwarz dishes out a combo on the cheeks but Lisa's head doesn't move and she whips an overhand hook on the nose and that bursts the brunette's nostrils open with blood flowing down her face quickly. Maffia's eyes just even bigger upon that sight and she hammers the lacklustre rival from both sides, snaps Jessica's head back and pushes to the ropes where she cleans out her stomach as Jessica has no other idea but to slam the raging English girl on the back of the head and the referee is quick to drag the German away and give her an official warning. Lisa's mighty upset and rushes to punish the champ after the command but Jessica ducks underneath a hooking attempt and slams a sequence to the ribcage which sends Maffia back to center of the ring seeking her breath and Schwarz looks equally happy to catch some respite after some rough times in the ring.

Round 4:
Maffia leaps from her stool and throws more shots on the body but Jessica's quicker on her feet now and avoids closing the distance, keeps striking from behind the guard and the pace slows down after a ferocious start to this bout however Lisa still wants to stamp further authority on the champion and fakes few leaps and shots which only make the German look even more sluggish and slower across the canvas. Jessica seemingly gathers her thoughts before finally launching some noteworthy attack on her own but it doesn't materialise in this round as she can only test the strenght of the challenger's guard which holds firm and enables Lisa to smile to herself and nod the head in approval during the sit down.

Round 5:
Jessica's ready to make her move and storms out of her stool but Lisa dekes to the side and avoids couple of big shots from the champion, counters with an overhand right on the temple and follows up with a left on the rack as Schwarz's feet are left behind her and a left hook shatters her guard and slams on the nose. Blood starts seeping from the nostrils again and Lisa nails the champ on the liver, throws another hook on the head and Jessica's defence is nowhere to be seen again as her head snaps back one more time. Maffia leans on the German, lands shots on the tummy and halts all the champion's aggression for good, whips an uppercut between the arms and cleans out the brunette's jaw... Oh.. Jessica closes her eyes and wobbles on her feet... Left/right combo on the head follows... Schwarz sways around on her feet... get that haymaker in... Lisa CLUBS the champion on the jaw again put-away style... SCHWARZ IS DOWN... SCHWARZ IS DOWN... as she crashes on her side in the middle of the ring and that was a real monster of a shot there... Jessica's on all fours as the Manchester crowd errupts in joy but the champ won't yield the belts just like that... she somehow beats the count at seven but her face is very swollen with blood.. ref doesn't call for the doctor and allows the fight to continue... More venom from Maffia who bashes the German on the body, Jessica expected more shots on the head and left the ribcage exposed and Lisa wants to break her in half!!! Mammoth shots from both sides send Schwarz on the ropes and it's going ballistic in the Manchester Arena but in the middle of all that commotion the bell saves Jessica's hopes but Lisa still gives her one more shot on the tummy way late and earns herself a warning now.... It's a mad night here in Manchester after that near riots following the Porter vs Jordan clash...

Round 6:
Jessica doesn't look good, she's been hurt pretty badly by the raging Lisa and even the Lioness Club coach Gina Wild's pep-talk is seemingly futile as the champion gets nailed on the ribcage again early in the sixth with Maffia running riot, just clubbing the actress apart and bashing to the tummy without any reply. Schwarz tries to swing herself oit of trouble, grazes the forearms but crashes off the gloves and eats more leather on the counter, Lisa leans on her, pings straight jabs to the nose and all that cutmen work goes awry in a flush with Jessica's face covered in blood again... Dark stains on Schwarz's black swimsuit are clearly visible and Jessica's never taken such a punishment... more from Lisa.. who else... jabbing combo to the navel, block, deke, counter... right hand on the temple.. left on the ribs... Schwarz sinks back on the ropes again and has nothing left there to trouble the English girl. Lisa just lays leather onto the aching champ until the bell and Jessica's in all sorts of bother at the bell again. Coach Gina Wild's face says it all too... someone is having her ass kicked big time tonight!!!

Round 7:
Once again Jessica's nose has been patched up and she walks from her stool to start the seventh but a wounded prey gets a warm welcome from the predator as Maffia slams a right cross over the top and nails the champ on the forehead; follow up low on the ribs and the moans are there to indicate the champion's misery with the crowd loving every second of this bout! Lisa closes the distance, prevents her rival from seeking any respite and just lays more leather into her guts as Jessica covers up, but runs out of options, protects her face and the busted up nose but that makes no difference to the raging singer. Another vicious combo cleans out Schwarz's tummy and she leans back on the challenger, tries to clinch but gets whacked between the arms, some chest maulling on display as Lisa seemingly wants to hurt all parts of the German's body and she gets what she wants; snaps the champ's head back late in the round, sends spinning back to her corner with another double overhand before the bell and poor Schwarz just slumps back on her stool looking utterly spend here. Coach Gina Wild doesn't even say a word during the interval while Lisa refuses to sit down in the oppostite corner and shadown boxes with the crowd to keep the boiling atmosphere alive.

Round 8:
Schwarz's too slow to make anything happen now and Lisa finally goes for the kill, traps the aching champ with couple of hooks on the body and Jessica can only step back to the ropes but Maffia keeps slamming leather on the guard, the strenght has deserted the actress for good and Lisa breaks through with ease, snaps the head back, bounces off the nose.. again and again... and Schwarz's arms drop to the side, head slumps between the shoulders and it's a clean path towards the title now with Lisa single striking to the face.... Jessica's face is a bloodies mess here with her nostrils filled with red liquid... Ref wants to see this punishment to continue and doesn't wave it off... how cruel for the German camp but Maffia's barrage finally takes it's toll on the departing champion as Jessica jack-knives to the floor in the corner and she's not getting up from there... No count required! KO R8 and the NEW bantamweight champion.. Lisa Maffia!!!

Post-fight:
Was this the best fight Lisa Maffia has ever produced? She literally ass-kicked the champion all over the Manchester Arena just couple of months after she suffered the same fate at the hands of the very same Jessica Schwarz. Massive turnaround from Lisa who now makes history, becoming the first multiple division champion in BBU's chronicles. There's no Denise Lewis to celebrate with one of her protegees but Lisa doesn't require any help as she climbs the ropes and salutes the crowd who just saw a women from South London conquer Manchester and didn't get beer cans thrown at her! Forget Jorgie Porter or even Cheryl Cole! It's Lisa Maffia who steals the honors and one must ask what Sacha Parkinson will have to do to take away the belts from her?

Meanwhile Schwarz suffers probably the worst loss of her career and Maffia joins an elite group of fighters who managed to defeat her: Rochelle Wiseman (twice), Erica Cerra and Alesha Dixon. The departing champ exits the Arena on a stretcher mumbling some German words with coach Gina Wild on her side and the Lioness Club's pride has taken a serious knock tonight with their pin-up girl getting bashed around by one of the most hated rivals. The duell between Jessica and Alesha Dixon might have been decided in favor of the German but Lisa surely avenged that scoreline with a truly emphatic beating of the German actress. In fact, BBU TV's Denise van Outen claims Maffia won ALL eight rounds before finally putting away poor Jessica. A truly magnificent performance from Lisa who was once called a quitter after leaving the lightweight division. One might say those naysayers aren't laughing anymore and it's up to Sacha Parkinson to do something about it now!
