BBU Bout: Latin Union Fight in Calais,France

The former BBU bantamweight champion Clara knows that she needs to start winning again, after her defeat by Lisa Maffia, and this should be a good test for her, against the hard hitting, sometimes brutal, Emma Glover, who is also looking for a title shot.

Tonight, Clara’s in a white bikini with red gloves, with Emma totally in black.

Round 1

The ladies move out, touch gloves, then go into their stances. Clara lands a jab with a firm right to Emma's head. Emma is able to slip the punch and hammer Clara's left jaw with a right. Clara grimaces as she draws back. Emma stalks her to the corner but Clara dances sideways along the ropes. Emma pursues her, setting up a right that misses, allowing Clara to connect with a left to her head. Emma staggers. Emma shakes it off, moving to meet Clara as the bell calls the end of the round.

Round 2

The ladies meet in the center of the ring. Defense is still the theme of the fight, as each lady knows that the other has KO potential. Emma attempts a power punch but misses. Clara slips a solid right punch into Emma's face. This time Emma makes Morgane pay as she scores a left into Clara's nose, followed by a right into her chin. That one hurt! Clara covers up as she retreats from a pursuing Emma. Emma wades in with a barrage of punches. Clara blocks some but a couple solid rights penetrate her defense again!! Morgane is hurt. Glover charges in to put her away but Clara manages to lash out with a firm right that lands flush on Emma's left eye. Emma screams out and backs away. Both ladies take their time moving back to do battle. It's the end of a great round.

Round 3

The ladies come out promptly to meet. Emma's left eye is swollen almost half shut. She knows that it will close in the next few rounds so she has to take the fight to Clara trying for a knockout in the next couple of rounds. Emma moves aggressively as Clara backs away in defense. Emma persists but misses with right. Clara takes advantage of the miss by driving a stinging right under Emma's chin. Emma's legs buckle and she goes down. She gets to her feet at 8. Clara charges in with a left/right combination; Emma is in trouble, but fortunately for her, the bell rings ending a terrible round for the glamour model.

Round 4

Clara comes out of her corner, she wants the knock out. Clara moves in on Emma with a flurry of lefts and right forcing Emma to the corner. Emma crawls between the ropes to halt Clara's punishment. Clara moves in targeting Emma's left eye, then trying for the big right as Emma's chin is exposed. Glover tries to resist and defends herself as best she can. The bell sounds ending the round.

Round 5

Emma is turning her head to see which means her left eye is total closed now. It also means that she can't see a right hook. Emma moves forward with a left /right combination, but Emma leaves her chin open. Clara strikes with cobra like speed, a right, a left, followed by another right, all three landing on target, Emma's chin. Emma is out before she hits the mat. The ref counts, Emma is spread out flat on her back, the count is 8, 9, 10. She's out!!!!

The winner by KO in round 5, Clara Morgane!!!
