Before: Bleeth callously dumping Alyssa Milano for a title shot, comes in arguably the best shape of her life. Refusing to accept the deep underdog role assigned to her by the press. “You guys are writing about me like I’m Mish Williams in there. Eliza’s in tough again st me--most of the crap she called ‘technique’ is just smoke and mirrors. You’ve got to bring real skills to the table to compete with me. As far as I’m concerned, Dushku’s a made-for-TV amateur. I’m bringin’ the beach to her big time.” Eliza in teal strong bikini, Yasmine in neon green--Bleeth with a showy chest-bump during ring instructions causes glares all around.

During R1: Bleeth gets what she wants early, but Eliza gets the better iof the shoulder to shoulder grind. Dushku rubbing temples with Yas, outworking the brunette between the hip bones, shouldering Bleeth back, stepping in with thudding hooks to the sternum--good old fashioned work ethic from Eliza. Yasmine giving ground, punching back in spots, but she’s getting chopped up in the exchanges. Round ends with Yasmine sitting on the ropes, blocking and bobbing as best she can as Eliza plies her with biting hooks, chopping right hands to the waist.

R2: Dushku liked it so well inside, she gets back in with a chopping straight right to the chest. Bleeth stepping back, walking Eliza into punches--girls are close, but not right on top of each other, allowing for brisk back and forth. Yasmine gets the timing this round, dipping just in the nick, making Eliza miss over the top, then gouging at the champ’s ribcage ior banging that chi with a nifty-quick counter. Dushku doing half the work, coming forward, missing--Yas picking her up short, heavy shots. Midway through, Bleeth ducks a heavy Dushku right hand, rams her head into the champ’s belly and throws Eliza backwards, off balance. Dushku jabbing to reclaim the distance and a CRACKING counter right hand slashes back over the stick. Vicious head-torque Eliza and DUSHKU GOES OUT! Eliza blasted out on her feet, cringes slightly before crashing to her side, then rolling insensate to her back, Hands at her stomach, mouth working in pain as her eyes flutter--Dushku stretched for a KO2. The winner and NEW flyweight champion Yasmine Bleeth.

After: Stunning upset--chaos in the ring as Dushku lies helplessly, entourages milling around. Bleeth leaping in ecstasy--it’s wild. Pressly fans rejoice at the sight of their bitterest enemy laid low--flyweight bling-bling proving slippery to hold as one champ after another gets carted away in ruins, “I kicked the door IN!” cries Yasmine in post fight. “Lucy, Eliza and Jaime all think the same way--that nobody else in this division can have a say. Eliza was still going on about her Pressly KO in pre-fight--she had no respect for me whatsoever. God, I’ve waited SO LONG for this moment,. I can’t believe it’s all coming true!”
