BEFORE: "I've always respected Fox more than some girls do," Johannson acknowledges in prefight. "She's one of those fighters who shows flashes of real potential sometimes...and I was one of those. If I can break through, so can she - and I like how she took care of Nina D. Megan, you know - you can't treat her like a total chump. Girl's got some fight in her."

Fox coming into a big-time celebrity showdown off a strong victory over Neens...it's all about keeping the momentum rolling. "Nina was my stepping stone to Scarlett," Fox says at podium, "now I have to cash in. I feel like it's a must-win fight for me to really break away from girls like Dobrev and Lilo. Gunning down Johannson gets me right back where I wanted to be and reminds everyone of the Megan Fox brand - which is still the hottest and most desirable brand in boxing!"

Fox unhurt, but it's an effortless shutout for Ms. Johannson, and in the final moments, she places a swinging left precisely to liver - no weight behind it, but it's clear to both women what could have happened there.

R2: Megan a little tight - badly outclassed last round, she's hestitant and stiff this round, keeping dukes up/elbows in. Makes Scarlett's job even easier - she's tapping a pesky right jab; leaning into the straight left; chopping the right hook to ribs in close while pivoting-counterclockwise around the score. Megan pinging jabs/dropping the odd right cross but it's all in vain: Scarlett dipping and rolling underneath - stepping in close to put right shoulder into Megan's body, then turning Fox counterclockwise while bumping her off. Breezy shutout Scarlett J - Fox unhurt, but plenty flustered as Johannson's having her way.

R3: Still the Scarlett Johannson show, but Megan finally answering back in spots - dropping right hands onto Scarlett's rack; trying to hook over Johannson's right shoulder. Bumpier ride for Scarlett, but she's still basically in control - ominously landing a swinging left to liver whenever she wants it.

R4: Megan uptempos, finally overwhelming Scarlett's supple defences long enough to outwork her. Nothing fancy - Fox spritzing jabs (her left hand slapping off Scarlett's right); drilling straight right hands to mouth or breast; whirling mitts as she steps in strong. Scarlett unhurt, but punched onto the defensive throughout - nibbling back in spots at Fox via straight left hands off the slip.

R5: Same again, Megan aggressively forward behind jab/straight right hand routines, then hustle-punching to bat-and-lather Scarlett into retreat. Johannson bendy at the waist, not standing still for any seriously hard punches, but she's bothered by the volume - frequently forced to bob-and-roll in the pocket while Meg gets off. Flurry to jugs late rings Scarlett up: she's disheveled; copper lock dangling past left eye; lips parted as Megan finally makes a statement.

R6: Scarlett chop-dropping her right jab out and down, knocking Megan's left hand out of position, then drilling-chin via the straight left poke. Johannson's weight forward on right leg - she'll pivot counter-clockwise around it, hook-righty off it (snatching at Megan's ribs) or jerk the tidy little right uppercut to chin. Fox getting touched up - taking the shots well, never seems to be rocked, but she's falling off the pace as Scarlett captures the initiative. Johannson turning-and-touching her girl to bell, nodding aggressively en-route to her corner.

R7: Shutout Scarlett Johannson. She's up-tempoing, letting her combinations flow. She's pivot-stepping counter-clockwise, turning Megan's left flank. Pinging straight left hands punch at Megan's face, prompting her to form a rigid earmuff front: that puts the ribs on sale, and Scarlett takes advantage with that cutting little right hook-and-pivot routine. Turning, turning, turning - Scarlett working, Megan blocking...down the stretch, Johannson taps right-jab to guard, swings that limber, almost bolo-left uppercut clean to liver PAK! Megan's face tightens in grimace, her body cringing as she backs away hurt for the first time tonight.

R8: Positional dominance from Johannson; defiance and spot-fighting from Fox. Scarlett in control with her footwork, neatly turning Megan counterclockwise - getting a shoulder into Fox as necessary to bump-and-steer. Johannson changing speeds on her shots - sometimes just dusting Megan to dazzle her, then setting down on the one stiff punch meant to do harm. Fox bobbing in earmuff, staying compact - actually deploying a long, slinging sidearm right that lands heavily against Scarlett's breadbasket at times. Bell: girls exchanging hard glares...Fox refusing to buckle despite being buried on the cards; Scarlett scanning for any sign of quit through 8.

R9: Scarlett goes all in, issuing a terrible beating to Megan...it's one of the worst rounds of Foxy's career. Same pattern and look as before, but Scarlett punching with much more commitment on EVERYTHING: Megan shuddering in her stance when the right hook takes her to ribs; Megan's head jolting back off her mitts when the straight left penetrates. Scarlett fighting with blazing-eyed intensity, but keeping good form...she's chopping and drilling away, gettiing the work DONE on Megan Fox. Midway through, Scarlett in close behind her right shoulder, bouncing tight little rights and lefts off Megan's head-and-guard...with Fox pre-occupied, Scarlett unleashes that swinging left to liver, this time burying it in Megan-meat and FOX GOES DOWN! Megan sobbing in pain - twisting to her right, dropping to haunches-and-hands. Megan: hair tumbling down across both breasts; eyes shut tight; teeth clenched in agony as Scarlett strides to neutral corner. FOX BEATS THE COUNT! Bravest moment of Megan's career comes in her darkest moment - she shakes off the body KO with a minute left to go. ON COMES SCARLETT! Johannson stepping-to at ropes and unleashing...poor Megan wilting butt-in-ropes, forming face-in-gloves and suffering as Scarlett treats herself to the goodness. Scarlett positioning over Meg's left shoulder - feeding the girl palm-down rights behind left elbow; straight left hands to overhanging head; straight left hands down into breasts or tummy. Workmanlike effort beats Megan ragged, but at the bell - tear-stained vixen cries: "I'M NOT QUITTING" in the startled face of Scarlett J.

R10: Johannson out to clean up - curling a wide, slapping right hook to right-side lats, then looking to sling the left hand thick to liver. Megan sullen in the pocket, crouching, keeping elbows low against her waist as Scarlett's small mitts pick at her. Minute mark, Megan suddenly answering via tightly-turned left/right...quick, clean scores to chin have Scarlett staring in confusion, upright in her stance and Megan BENDS into a hallelujah overhand right to face! CRASHING blast scores flush - Megan's right following through to her left knee with the fastball delivery and JOHANNSON GOES DOWN! Scarlett on her back, hands at her belly as she picks her head rickety off canvas...Good Lord - SHE'S OUT! Johannson all jittery and trembling...she can't get off her back and that's KO10 from WAY behind, Megan Fox!

After: Fox in hysterics - all but out herself in the 9th - hopelessly swamped on the cards...she comes back against a very dominant Scarlett Johannson tonight to end the red-head's night in a thunderclap! Lot of girls in the audience visibly shaken and unhappy with the result...if Megan's rediscovering the magic, that's bad news for rival ingenues everywhere. "First Nina, then Scarlett," a scuffed-up but jubilant Fox beams in postfight. "She definitely went at me in the 9th...I've never felt pain like that liver shot she caught me with, but I just wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of stopping me. She had fun on me for sure, but I think she punched herself out a bit...come the tenth, she was hittable, and brother, did I hit her! Got my back into that one fellahs...I knew I had to hurt her huge to win this fight, and I'm SO happy she couldn't take my power. I think I've learned my lesson from the early part of my career, and I'm going to take it to heart. I know you have to work hard, even after crushing someone like Scarlett Johannson. I'm going to stay disciplined in the gym, listen to my guys, and you're going to be seeing me taking down more and more girls. The Fox is BACK, baby!"
