BEFORE: Healthy pushing and shoving - girls nearly coming to blows in various pre-fight events...lot of tension whenever two prime specimens get put in the same pen. "When you look at the lightweight division," Missy explains at podium, "you'll see right away that I can't move ahead unless I take care of Jessica and Kaley. Other girls are important objectives as well, but Biel in particular is right in my space. I just have to step to it and do it this time. I have to."

Biel smiling, yucking it up with reporters...she's very comfortable as favourite. "Missy's welcome to keep banging her head against my wall," Jessica grins. "Beating her down revs my engine, you know? I'd fight this girl for free! I just love how heartbroken she is when my hand gets raised - as though it all could have ended different if ONLY she'd done something differently. Trouble is, there's nothing she can do. I'm better. That's just the way it is."

During R1: Jessica jabbing Missy to ropes; bending into strong right hand up top; hooking ribcage as she withdraws, sporting a big grin. Pattern repeats...Missy trying to tag Jess coming in, but Biel too ballistic - surging past Peregrym's jab to drive Missy before her. Down the stretch, Missy finally gets the stiff-arm jab on Jessica's chin, stalling Biel on the spot, initiating crowd-pleasing free-for-all as muscular sluggers pitch from the hips! Glancing contact off brawny shoulders and chests as neither girl finds chin in a ferocious closing exchange at bell.

R2: Missy glaring, concentrating hard...she steps the jab in stiff - punching Jessi's face and chest to pre-empt Biel. Jessica lashing back wicked right hand counters or slashing hooks, but she's missing the mark: disciplined Missy advancing behind that ramrod stick, touching Jess to ropes, making her cover up, then belting the body ringing right/lefts until Biel clinches. Punishing work done against Jessi's lats when she's in earmuff...Missy shows she can come forward strong in the second.

R3: Missy's jab stiff and heavy tonight - punching back Jessica's face, winning initiative for Peregrym, driving Biel to aprons. Jess forming earmuff as she lays back on ropes, trusting her midsection: Missy leans in, rips away brawny right/left/right rib-rockers, really belting away on lat/waist. Small mitts denting Jessi's toned flesh...midway through, determined hooking of Jessica's rightside ribs buckles her knees, forcing her to clinch hurt! Biel grimacing as Missy bodies her to ropes - Peregrym's shoulders working hard against Jessi's - strong arms writhing for position...Peregrym eventually able to push Jessica down and continue the attack! OH THOSE THUMPING HOOKS! Missy pursing her lips, scowling as she twists torso-right and BURIES left hands in Jessi's aching ribs! Biel grimacing, trying to tie up, but Missy's determined to wriggle free of the restraints. Missy on Jessi violence bell to bell - Biel able to slow the assault in spots, but unable to get ref's breaks as Peregrym stays busy!

R4: Missy jabs Jessi to ropes; Jessi forms earmuff while laying back on cables; MISSY BELTS AWAY TO GLORY! Presented with open waistline and flanks, Missy lowers her head and slams home the hurt - getting her back and shoulders into strong, roping wallops to Biel's torso. Jessica cringing under the thumping touches, reaching in to clinch, but Missy won't have it! Peregrym bodying Jess roughly into ropes, writhing to yank arms free, then plunging back into the attack. Waves of Missy breaking upon Jessica's shores as Biel wilts...muscular, batting assault beats at Jessi's brawny arms, thick lats, strong core as Missy puts the work in. Down the stretch, shell-shocked Jessica pushes Missy off, intending to step around her: Peregrym sweeps a right uppercut clean to chin, knocking Biel's head back, bringing her right (back) foot forward as Jessica goes wobbly-butt. Jess staring, hands outstretched: clubbing Missy left hook wraps around Jessi's head, dragging her into ropes again. Jess buzzed, hands at waist...Missy steps into a blockbuster right to jaw, turning Jessi's chin aside, ejecting her mouthpiece and DROPPING BIEL TO HER BACK! Jessica all but out - sensational conditioning allows her to shake off the KO, but she's damaged goods, reeling on her feet at bell!

R5: Missy jabs Jessica to ropes, sets about the grim task of breaking Biel down. Jessi: hurt; stooping forward in earmuff off ropes, or showing loose crossed arm - rarely answering back as Missy pours on sheets of punishment. Missy: belting rights and lefts to lats and waist - really digging in thick, then reaching in to chest Jessi into ropes, wrestle apart her guard, and expose her to head-clout. Nothing fancy: Missy just shaving the right uppercut to get Biel straightened up, then pouring in the right cross - looking to punch Jessica bingo on the chin. Glorious minutes for Missy Peregrym...she's treating Jessica like meat, just stacking and jacking her, pulverizing the body and arms, then beating her lumpy up top. Bell: Jessica's legs keep her up, but she's a battered vixen - eyes swelling, lower lip split...Missy gives Jess a hard-eyed once-over, looking for quit after bell.

R6: PITCHED BATTLE! Missy jabbing at Jessica's punished face, driving her to apron, but Biel firming near ropes, pitching from her hips, denying one advance after another. Peregrym the aggressor - she's driving on Jessica, but she can't close: time and again, Biel absorbs punishment on the verge of collapse, then rallies herself to answer. Crowd roaring during raucous exchanges - fighters just dipping side to side as they pitch wallop from the hips - both girls landing flush upside one another's heads, then digging brutal to the body if the other girl doesn't immediately answer. Bell: girls still slopping away - ref forced to intervene as fighters are lost in sluggers' trances. Neither trainer particularly happy: both want more discipline, better defence, and smarter punch-selection! No indication that either girl is listening during break.

R7: Missy chugging up into Jessica's ribs beneath the breasts right/left/right; Jessica clips chin a short hook; trades blunt right hands in tight, then feeds Missy the extra hook to belly. Missy hooks jug, hooks lats, eats the jab as Biel takes a step back, then walks into a right hand as Jessica fires from the pocket! Missy trudges through it, continuing her assault on Jessica's jugs, backing Biel to ropes with clubbing lefts and rights - then dipping left to hook those lats. Biel fighting off the ropes - short rights and lefts...Missy in wide stance, moving her head, using the jab to touch Jessica, then feeding her the stiff right cross to hurt her. Down the stretch, Missy's relentless body and lat work has Jessica wilting...Biel's eyes wincing as she's trying to slide-right along ropes...Missy's wide left hook claps face, draping Jess staring on ropes. BELTING right hand, Missy P: she leans in, cleans up every scrap of Jessica's chin! Biel's head wobbling, hands drooping, eyes glassy...she's drifting to her right, but still standing: Missy able to reload, bend her back into another blockbuster right to REALLY swivel Jessica's head again and DOWN GOES BIEL! Jessica twisting to her right, landing chest-down, body parallel to ropes...Missy bellowing with incoherent Jessica-hate as ref's trying to push her away. BIEL BEATS THE COUNT! Jessica shabby, virtually out, but pullllling herself up ropes to stand reeling at bell!

R8: Missy's punched herself out: HERE COMES JESSICA! Biel visibly reduced, but pouring forward - now SHE'S chugging up right/left/right into ribs, digging at the meat of Missy to drive her ropeside. JESSICA WANTS RACK! Biel pushing free of Missy's attempted embrace, shrugging bruising uppercuts home to jug, then REEFING in left hooks to right-side lats as Missy shows earmuff. Jessica on Missy violence with Peregrym sitting butt-in-ropes - Biel's buns shuddering side to side as she slugs the hurt to Peregrym...Missy absorbing in earmuff, breaking down, then tying up around Biel's arms, initiating more brawny grappling action inside. Ref close to issuing breaks, but Jess doing a good job writhing free and sustaining her work...Peregrym suffers in the pocket, answering back only in spots. Bell: chests heaving, bodies throbbing, eyes wincing...girls glaring at each other upon separation, wondering what it's going to take to subdue the other!

R9: Missy clips Jessi's mouth a right; fetches her a swinging left to ribs; misses the right up top as Jessica ducks; buries another left in Jessi's lats. Biel driven ropeside ashen-faced, wrapping up loose around Missy's head and shoulders as Peregrym piles in close! Missy's hands're free downstairs - she works the body methodical, rolling her shoulders, pumping short right/lefts to Jessica's dense paunch. Biel whining, trying to cuddle up, but she's just draping off Missy's neck, supporting herself with butt-in-ropes. MISSY'S DIGGING AT JESSI! Peregrym in the grasp, but working - her left riding on Jessica's lower back while the right PLOWS tummy and ribs. Jessica finally able to tie up behind Missy's arms, but Peregrym pushes-in strong, writhing her limbs into the clear...soon she's back to work beating Jessica's shoulders/biceps, lats and waist as Biel sits in earmuff, soaking. Terrible punishment inflicted to Jess Biel...tremendous conditioning allowing her to sit in ropes and sponge blow after blow...Missy's face contorted in dull rage - body rhythmically reducing her rival with pushes and punches to bell.

R10: Battered vixens step to midring, each girl slow-footing it, making it seem like she's exhausting, then EXPLODING INTO VIOLENCE MIDRING! Crazy, pitching rights and lefts from the hips as girls just brawl chest to chest...Biel starts tagging Missy across the face...Missy starts staggering backwards and PEREGRYM GOES DOWN! Missy beaten into a ragdoll heap near ropes...Biel bellowing down at her as ref pushes Jess back. Missy whimpering, beating the count shabby, swaying on the spot...she takes her 8 and ON COMES JESSICA! Biel crash-tackling Missy hard to ropes, deliberately ragdolling Peregrym, pushing on her stabilize, then BELTING AWAY TO GLORY! Missy shouting in pain as Jessica rips at her guts left/right; Missy cringing forward in earmuff, butt-in-ropes as Jessica reefs left hooks to right-side lats - small glove digging in PAK! PAK! Short right uppercuts scrape at Missy's guard, keeping her penned in, then it's more to the body, more to the lats, more to the arms - Jessica just bathing Missy in hurt in search of quit! AND THE REF STEPS IN because the bell has rung: Peregrym swooning, out on her feet, but standing...she holds it together long enough to take the UD10 duke!

AFter: Jessica crushed as Missy's hand is raised, then immediately protesting the verdict, barking at the ref: "She was out! I was kicking her ass - you saw! She was out..." Missy wandering away all tender and hurt, but she's wearily jubilant in postfight. "Got her done!" Missy grins. "Finally. I knew if I just kept at her, I could break her down. My body's better than hers as a physical force - I knew if I just stayed in her chest, drew her into a pitch-and-catch slugging session, she'd wear down. It feels so good to beat Jessica - especially like this, where I took her down on her best night...this is going to be a huge boost for me going forward!"
