Elena Santarelli’s in a black bikini with red gloves, while Denise Lewis is totally in red.

Round 1

Both ladies go toe to toe in the center of the ring for about 30 seconds before Denise goes to work with firm left jabs to Elena’s exposed face. A firm Lewis right staggers Elena. She hangs onto Denise to halt the action. The ladies square off; Denise again staggers Elena with a right. Elena hangs on to prevent herself from going down. The ref separates the ladies, asking Elena if she's ok. A few more jabs are exchanged before the bell ends the round.

Round 2

The round begins. Elena tries to get inside with a right. Denise keeps Elena outside with her jab. Elena drives Denise to the ropes with a flurry to her mid section. Denise attempts to escape from the corner, Elena is able to score with a heavy right that staggers Denise. But Denise comes back with a series of uppercuts. Elena Santarelli takes one under her chin that staggers her. Elena is confused. Denise seizes the opportunity, pummeling Elena's body with an outburst of lefts and rights. Elena is taking some punishment. The bell ends the round saving Santarelli from further damage.

Round 3

Denise wastes no time moving in for the attack and she wants the KO. Elena is now trying to survive the round and the fight. Elena can't escape as Denise's strong arms punish her breasts and mid section. Denise traps Elena in the corner, a left, a right, as Elena is set up for the big right that lands high on her left cheek. Elena rebounds off the ropes, falling to her knees. The ref begins the count but Elena is on her feet at 8. Elena's left eye is swelling quickly from Denise's last punch. Denise follows with a right uppercut . Elena is groggy against the ropes. She's in big trouble, and perhaps she has had enough.....and the ref counts her.....the referee can't let her fight....it's over!!!!
