Cristina Scabbia made an impressive start to her BBU career, knocking out Alexandra Burke and Samia Ghadie but Charlie Webster dismissed both these girls as "jobbers" and claims Emma Bunton will send the Italian packing tonight in quick and vicious fashion. However the ex-Spice Girl has been struggling for form ever since Dannii Minogue demolished her last March and has won just a single fight since then.

Scabbia comes in as the aggressive fighter thanks to her heavy metal background but the days of Baby Spice are long gone for Bunton and she indicates she can punch as heavy as the Milan-based fellow singer.

Round 1:
Scabbia rips into Bunton straight from the bell and clearly makes the tough girl statement true much to Charlie Webster's dismay as she nails the blonde with an overhand on the eye and follows up with some jabbing on the chest. Emma missed an initial hooks and steps back immediataly in wake of Cristina's high-temo opening. More jabs from the brunette crash off her chest though and Scabbia pierces her guard with ease, smacks another jabbing combo on the nose and has Bunton all over the canvas in avoidance. No stopping the Italian; she pummels between the arms, shows more speed and agility but just can't quite trap the blonde along the ropes with Emma offering single striking response and looking relieved at the bell.

Round 2:
Another charge from the brunette but she crashes off the gloves this time and eats an overhand counter from Bunton; blonde girl leans on her and finally manages to get something on the board as she whips a series across the face, splits the mitts and catches Cristina on the jaw. Leather trade-off ensues in the middle of the ring with Scabbia refusing to retreat and pummelling around the elbows but Emma smacks her on the nose with a quick uppercut and wobbles back, follows up with a jabbing combo on the face, nails the Italian clean and makes her yelp in pain. But as she leans on her, Scabbia covers up and sends a vicious low jab on the liver which forces Emma to abort her charge and step back as both women circle around each other in mid-distance afterwards.

Round 3:
Quick leap from the Italian who misses her hooking combo on the head though and Emma drives low on the counter, smashes a double combo on the stomach and uppercuts the chest. Cristina can't quite stretch her elbows in close range; eats more overhand shots on the cheeks and Emma begins to rough her up as she nails her with a quick hook on the temple. The black ponytail gets swung back and forth as Bunton pours in with vicious leather on the chest; Scabbia's arms are sliced apart and the rack becomes an easy target with Bunton pushing her foe towards the ropes with a spirited charge and Cristina gets outworked here, shows lack of experience, fails to lock the clinch and has the blonde pounding her ribcage senseless at the bell much to the crowd's pleasure who seem to cheer for the North Londonder against some proverbial odds.

Round 4:
Scabbia looks very upset over the previous round but only skims off the forearms in wake of Bunton's nifty footwork, eats another jabbing combo on the face in response and Emma follow up, uppercuts the rack and reaches for the chin. Get that ponytail swinging! Bunton whips a double combo on the jaw and Scabbia sags on her knees, gets nailed across the mouth and the high-tempo effort pays off for the blonde now, more jabs push the cumbersome Italian on the ropes and she can't weave away from danger, gets clipped with a left hook on the nose, misses her jabbing response and Emma buries a jab on the navel, pins her opponent on the ropes for good and rips into her guts thereafter, ends the round with another barrage on the tummy and leaves Cristina gasping for air in visible discomfort.

Round 5:
Emma smells a wounded opponent and Cristina is slow on her feet, still looking unease over the midsection attacks but the blonde gives her no respite whatsoever, pummels between the arms and rocks the head back & forth, switches low and tags the Italian on the liver and that's hurt Scabbia big time, she bends to the side and covers up, looks dazed on her feet and Emma whips a right hook on the temple, throws another from the other side and has Cristina soaking up punishment in the middle of the ring. She rips an uppercut on the rack, forces the Italian to drop her arms and lands another overhand on the nose THAT FINALLY SENDS SCABBIA ON HER KNEES!!! Emma rampant, bunny hops around her fallen rival but Cristina refuses to go away here, beats the count at six only to eat more overhand leather as Bunton just slices her gloves apart, snaps the head back and sends butt-in-ropes and the crowd knows what's coming now... Vicious low jabbing bounces off Scabbia's ribcage and tummy, has her moaning loudly at the bell and quite frankly Emma just battered her in that round.

Round 6:
The aching Italian has nowhere to hide in the ring and Emma rips into her straight off the bell, lands more shots around the elbows, forces Cristina to drop her arms and switches high immediately, throws a crisp uppercut on the jaw... and another... Scabbia can't raise her arms in time and just sags on her knees... Bunton with a cross-hooking combo on the nose, spikes the Italian on the eye and spins her back to the ropes.... Cristina leans forward, but once again struggles for reaction time and Emma bangs a left hook on the jaw to relieve her from the misery... SCABBIA CRASHES DOWN ON HER SIDE and closes her eyes, rolls onto her backside and breaths heavily as the ammount of punches thrown at her by the blonde singer proves too much to handle. She makes no effort to beat the count and receives medical attention as Emma Bunton leaps into KO R6 glory!!!

Post-fight:
Charlie Webster's predictions were pretty much spot on but it took the ex-Spice Girl a little longer than two rounds to finish the Italian singer off. Cristina just looked way too much hittable and even considering Emma's poor run of results recently, she couldn't really trouble her and got pounded into a KO daze in comprehensive fashion.

It also doesn't speak too well of Alexandra Burke and Samia Ghadie's skills, both whom were destroyed by Scabbia just days ago and the Manchester crowd realizes that the Main Event between Ghadie and Bunton's stablemate Heidi Range might turn into a bloody disaster for the local favorite.
