"HOME COMING BOUT"

Scene is Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. This is a truly special fight between two gals who have done well after leaving the Cleveland area where both were born. Each claims to be the 'Cleveland Clouter' though Berry has had many more bouts. Kelly O'Donnell has had one sucessful ring bout against Vanessa Williams who she beat in a hard match. That has been the NBC Capitol Hill correspondent's only fight. Halle Berry is scornful and contemptuous towards the red headed Irish gal she has nicknamed 'Fatass'. 'That little tub or lard can't get out of her own way' Halle remarked at a press conference before the fight. 'She spends too much of her time stuffing those jowls in the D.C. eateries and little time in the gym which is why I'm going to run her ass out of the ring' sneered Halle. There is a definite dislike between these two gals who are now preparing to enter the ring in an early March fight date just before it was discovered that Halle was pregnant with child. At the moment she is fit to fight and has trained hard under the watchful eye of Linda Kozlowski. Halle has fought Linda in earlier times dropping three of five decisions to the Croc Dundee babe.
Kelly is first in the ring stripping off her robe and revealing a well chiseled bodice in green bikini panties with shamrocks on either side. Halle is in an orange bikini and is primed for battle.
They go to center ring where Shirley MacLaine is the ref. Instructions are given as the gals tap gloves. 'Gonna kick your smart ass there O'Donnell' says Halle. 'Make me know it' is Kelly's rejoinder as she gives that sexy smirk which lights Halle up in more ways than one.
Round One- Kelly's trainer is Katie Couric who has instructed her to use the ring against the taller/lankier Berry. 'You're stronger than her Kelly' Katie tells her charge. 'Show her that early'. O'Donnell drill Berry first with a solid left to the right rib cage. Halle groans slightly. Berry is using a circular motion with her right hand in preparation for a classic bolo punch. Her left hand is still and carried low. Too low as Kelly slams Berry with a right cross to the jaw driving her backwards and bringing a thunderous roar from the crowd. 'Kelly Kelly Kelly' goes up the chant as the red head has drawn first blood. O'Donnell feints a charge which momentarily freezes Berry. It's then that she delivers a volley of vicious body shots which cause Halle Berry to bend in pain. The blows are merciless and Linda Kozlowski is incredulous watching this display of punching prowess by a gal who Halle had all but written off as a suitable opponent. 'Get those arms up Halle and start fighting or I'm throwing in the towel' screams Kozlowski. 'Hear that Catwoman' laughs Kelly as she connects with more unanswered jabs to Halle's face. 'You're great for target practice' taunts Kelly. 'Your acting isn't much better than your boxing either'. The red head is really rubbing it in. 'F you O'Donnell' snorts Halle as she finally comes out of her shell and rams O'Donnell with a wicked right cross that sends the T.V. gal down hard on her ass. 'Get up you clown and I'll really clean your clock'. Kelly is up at seven with the place rocking. They are now at mid-ring letting it all hang out. Kelly's shots seem more telling but Halle does get in some good hits. The bell rings with O'Donnell the winner of the round even though she'd been decked once.
Round Two- Kozlowski is imploring Berry to force the fight while doing some sticking and moving. Halle responds by dancing on her quick feet and offering less of a target to O'Donnell now. Her left jabs are scoring and she is appearing to be gaining some control of the bout. Once again she wallops O'Donnell with a bruising overhand right that drives Kelly back into the ropes. Berry is determined to massacre this babe now. Her blows are finding their mark as O'Donnell looks to be running out of steam. 'I think you shot your load there fatty' teases Berry. This give Kelly an impetus to resume attacking as she had earlier. O'Donnell's quick right hand claims Halle's jaw and sends her down for an eight count. Berry is stumbling now badly hurt by that shot. Suddenly it is all Kelly O'Donnell's fight as she continually plows left/right combos to Halle's midsection. The tawny movie star is doubled over in pain as Kelly blows continually thud to her body and then her face. Halle's right eye is shutting from those devastating left hooks from Kelly O'Donnell. She is losing the fight. As Kelly mops up with these body shots with Halle's body pinned to the ropes ref MacLaine jumps in and stops the punishment. Halle is slumped against the ropes for support and once Kelly is yanked away her body slides down and she falls flat on her face. O'Donnell is leaping up and down and the crowd is delirious with joy. Halle Berry's right arm is above her head and the left is alongside her battered and beaten body. She is counted out as a number of T.V. newsbabes like Ann Curry and Natalie Morales climb in to congratulate their sweaty but victorious colleague. 'Lift that loser over the ropes' which is what happens to Halle Berry's body next. She is stripped naked by O'Donnell and then brought to. Then a saddle is brought into the ring where Kelly O'Donnell puts it on Halle Berry who is on all fours now. The red head proceeds to ride her beaten opponent 'side saddle' around the ring. 'Gidde Yup there big mouth' orders Kelly as she uses a wooden ruler to slam Halle in the ass. Halle is still three quarters unconscious and finally slumps under the weight of Kelly and the saddle. 'Damn that was fun' chirps Kelly. Even Vanessa Williams is quick to congratulate Kelly though she reminds the smiling smirking O'Donnell whose ass got kicked in the condo fight after their bout. 'You're right Vanessa you are too much outside the ring for me' admits Kelly. Williams then says it is time for them to have another go. 'I'll win the next time with the gloves' is her claim. 'Accept that challenge any day of the week' replies a totally confident Kelly O'Donnell.
Post Fight- Halle Berry pours congratulations all over Kelly O'Donnell. 'You're the champ of Cleveland now' Halle proclaims. 'I did my best but you got the juice and the chops gal'. The two of them adjourn arm in arm for some post fight 'fun'. |
