Before: Bitter recriminations in the wake of the failure to crush the PLP: both TVD stars quick to blame the other for perceived failure. "Candice has been running wild for months," Nina frowns at podium, "It's time to rein her in. We stumbled into the PLP showdown because of her lack of leadership; I should have moved against her much earlier, so I apologize for that. Basically, I was under-weight last time we fought: I'm meatier now, stronger - I've always been fitter and better technically...the writing's on the wall for Candi. She needs this beating; TVD needs this beating...it's just time that I brought the Candi-show to a close."

Accola fuming...she thought she'd had Nina tamed! "We stumbled against PLP because Nina spent more time undermining my leadership than working with us all for victory," Candice explains. "What I learned from this is that you need to return to your old stomping grounds and make sure beaten girls know their damn places! Nina's a little witch, and whenever she's finished licking her wounds, she starts plotting again, so it's important to check on her and batter her as necessary. And boy is it ever necessary now!"

During R1: Fighters hop-to in respective stances, hands up/palms out, feinting and jabbing. Candi's jab a stiff, jolting poke chopping at face or breasts; Nina's jab a more elastic pinging motion. Once right hands are committed, both girls open up - Nina leaning forward and sweeping power-wallops from both hands, looking to clobber Candi's head; Accola shooting straight shots, trying to mark Nina with the jab, then slot the right hand clean to chin. Down the stretch, advantage Candi as a clean right hand finally unhinges Nina's legs, causing her to stumble out of orbit. Candice narrow-eyed, hard-hearted...she stalks Nina, jabbing her to ropes and pasting her an extra right hand STIFF across mouth, turning Dobrev's head violently at bell.

R2: Nina recovers well - still loose-jointed in her stance, limber limbed with her offence. Pinging, elastic jabs nag at Candi's mouth, flirt with her breasts. Slinging rights crash across jaw, followed by sweeping lefts - blonde girl backpedaling in the face of sinewy brunette power. Stalking Candice, Nina will occasionally drop the left shoulder, pop her hips-right and lick-snap the left hook off blonde waist. Candice pouting when body-smote, keeping hands up/shying away rather than trading as Nina proves dominant.

R3: When Candi's brave in the pocket - shooting straight punches in between Nina's slinging, sweeping haymakers - blonde girl's able to outhit her rival. Nina taking stiff jabs, clean right hands on pretty face - swinging away regardless, but getting pre-empted and punched off balance. Down the stretch, Candi with enough confidence to lean in close/jerk the short left uppercut to Nina's jugs, then tuck the left hook snug to liver. Nina grouchy at bell, shouting: "Stop nibbling and fight!"

R4: Nina swinging away wide and lanky, really bending and twisting into her shots, clobbering Candi upside the head or stroking her ribs. Accola brave and disciplined - Nina's getting her touches, but blonde girl stitching away up the middle, putting one-twos to consistent use against face and breasts, steadily out-touching her foe. Nina missing over the top down the stretch as Candi works a jab/bob/digging left uppercut to ribs routine for points.

R5: Candi's jab really chopping away at Nina now - knocking Dobrev's face back, startling her. Follow-on right hands kiss-across chin, loosening up Nina's knees...Dobrev wobbly-butt by the minute mark, looking stunned and forlorn. Candice tight-lipped, hard working - face-punching leads to digging left uppercuts to ribcage/snatching left hooks to waist...Nina groaning in pain, can't take the hurt - she backs away to ropes, forming face-in gloves. Cue torrid beatdown: frowning Candice squares away and tans Nina's flanks big, banging tick-tock strokes...poor Dobrev sobbing aloud into her gloves as she sits in ropes hurrrrrt! Bell: Candice polishes off hips and flanks with a few more strapping licks - ref finally pulls her off as Nina bawls in protest. Accola cocky, upbeat in her corner: that's a 10-8 round in a fight upon which she's rapidly imposing will.

R6: Another hard beating for Nina - she sits on ropes, suffering under sheets of blonde abuse in first minute. Pace slows as Candi tires, but blonde girl still working her brunette - pushing Nina into ropes, scraping uppercuts against the guard, seeking out the waistline around either protective elbow. Down the stretch, Nina able to punch her way off the ropes, finding Candi with lean left uppercuts and walloping right hands wide to ear as blonde girl backs off. Accola's round, but Nina firming - proving she can withstand sustained punishment from Candice.

R7: Nina midring, weight-forward, hands up, palms out...she's working an elastic jab as Candice shows defensive earmuff. Nina spanking away on Candi's guard - occasionally lashing blonde girl wide right hands about the ear...Candi keeping her hands up, stumbling around when smote, but staying safe. Down the stretch, Nina yo-yos her jab at Candi's eyeline, then drives in behind a spearing straight right to breadbasket. Spanking blast beats a shout of pain from Candice...she backs away all wincing and gut-shot as Nina posts shutout.

R8: Same again - Nina grimly at Candice while blonde girl covers up stoic midring. Not much getting through that earmuff, but Nina lashing wide right hands to hip and belly; clouting limber lefts or rights to either ear...blonde frequently stumbling to either side under the limber weight of shot. Dobrev getting her back into shellack - working Candice for another pasting shutout, really hacking at firm blonde body late.

R9: Candice looking to re-establish the jab, but sweeping rights over her left/clapping lefts to ear have her stumbling about as Nina takes command. Midway through, Nina with that yo-yoing jab at Candi's eyeline freezes blonde girl...brunette bends her back into a plowing straight right to midsection, spanking the breath from Candice and sending her backing away all face-stricken to ropes. Down the stretch, Candice sitting butt-in-ropes, face-in-gloves: Nina's turn to apply thick doses of shellack, baring her teeth/getting her back into wide-swinging limber-limbed shellack to bell.

R10: Nina Dobrev beats Candice Accola without mercy: it's a savage display of lust-for-supremacy. Accola whimpering, collapsing into ropes face-in-gloves...Nina lunging for her, bending into wide, shellacking rights wide to ribcage; lapping limber hup-hup barrages to stubborn blonde tummy; clobbering Candice about her ears as she skids along ropes in free-fall. Midway through, shellacking assault proves too much...blubbering Candi goes to all fours whining from punishment...seething Nina shouting "GET UP YOU COW!" as ref's pulling her off. Nina finishes up strong and sinuous, lathering away on cowering Candice late...blonde girl turns her right shoulder into ropes, sagging there as Nina pops her hips to lift rangy left hands up into ribs just behind blonde left elbow. Ref pulls Nina off shuddering Candi at bell - UD10 Dobrev in lashing fashion.

AFTER: Candice crying in her corner, wiping bitter tears away with her fingertips - ahead and in total command of the fight after 5, she wilts in the face of a FURIOUS Nina Dobrev charge. Dobrev stomping around the ring all eyes flashing...she's still keyed up for post-fight. "Long overdue," Nina scowls. "Sure, I've been the de-facto Alpha for a long time, but it feels SO good to beat this girl down and make her realize her role. I'm gonna whip this group into shape...with me calling the shots in the gym, you can be damn sure we're not going to be dropping fights to PLP-level girls. Underperformance was the Accola legacy: it's a whole new era now!"
