BEFORE: Alba attempting to slap Emmanuelle's face at the first pre-fight opportunity...Vaugier's rep as a hard-nosed boxer's-boxer pushing Jessi to make bold statements early. "People don't like to fight Emmanuelle because of her high skills and low profile," Jessica shrugs at podium. "I don't care. People say she's tuff, so I want to fight her, and it doesn't matter to me if it's a 'smart' fight or not. This is a woman who has publicly said I'm not the girl I was in Sin City or Into the Blue. This is TV trash thumbing her nose at the One, True Super-Starlet, and I don't let that stuff pass. Girls gotta know that I'm still On Patrol; I'm still paying attention, and if you drop my name, you better be damn sure you're prepared to back it up!"

Vaugier yawning throughout: Canadian genre vixen has seen and heard it all in a largely under-ground career...she can't wait to tuck into some Alba. Vaugier side-slipping the Alba uppercut, hooking to counter...midway through, Jessica sputters out of orbit all gobsmacked as Vaugier gets the timing just perfect. Emmanuelle grinning - feinting the pursuit-jab up top, stabbing it to tummy instead...brunette ushers blonde to ropes and goes to work. Ratatat combinations from Emmanuelle work Jessica over hips-to-head. Blonde girl hurt, cringing on ropes, keeping elbows in/dukes up as she rolls the beating. Bell: Vaugier nodding in satisfaction on the strut back to corner; Jessica blushing in humiliation at the harsh treatment.

R3: Alba looking to step-close, dip either shoulder and fit Vaugier for rangy uppercuts: disasterous decision as Emmanuelle counters like a champ out of the pocket. Vicious scoring strikes accumulate in the Alba gut, on the Alba jawlines as blonde girl misses and takes her medicine. Vaugier ripping away short left hooks, chopping right hands out of a cute bob-and-weave - just hacking away at Jessica as Alba's punches can't find targets. Down the stretch, short-chopping right turns Jessi's chin aside as she's trying right uppercut...blonde girl totters sideways to ropes, eats another chopping right upside the head as she's ducking and ALBA'S DOWN! Jess bludgeoned to her knees...she's quick to rise, but glassy-eyed, wobbly-butt. Ensuing onslaught on ropes sees Vaugier DRENCH Alba in tight, spanking combinations - brunette mitts bouncing off lats, shoulders, skull as Alba's covered up, sagging into ropes. BLONDE GIRL DOWN! Just at the bell - Jess dropped to all fours by seething Vaugier...Emmanuelle all dark eyes blazing through 3 blistering heats.

R4: Jessica scuffed up by competitive...holding right tight to cheek she jabs her way close, dips left shoulder, fits lanky left uppercuts to chin and gets into Emmanuelle's knees early! Vaugier chin-clipped, legs out of range...she's spooked, electing to circle and walk Jessica into traps. Blonde girl can't apply the finishing touches...Vaugier adept at luring her girl forward, flurrying her, then escaping with minimal damage either way. By round's end, Vaugier's sacrificed the points, but gotten her legs back - trainer applauding the decision to run during the break.

R5: Jess continuing to step in off the long left jab, then dip-n'-rip the left uppercut in tight...easy reads for nubile Vaugier as Emmanuelle weaves in the pocket, chops counters from either hand in receipt. Disasterous stuff for Alba...she's a stubborn vixen coming forward, but Vaugier lighting her up...crowd oohing and ahhing as Vaugier's right hand hacks the chin clean, or left hooks snatch toned blonde ribs/chin. Alba's legs a-trembling early - she wills herself forward, taking more and more hits. Vaugier's eyes intense, intelligent fists pounding at Jessica's beautiful face off the counter, or digging at her waist, putting the Super-Starlet wobbly-butt. Jessica grimacing, visibly breaking down as she presses her attack...all she's doing is walking into Emmanuelle's hacking power shots. Midway through, it's all too much...Jessica grunting from a withering hook to liver, then stooping forward in paralysis as Vaugier clips chin left/right...Vaugier able to snatch an extra left hook to Alba's KO'd breasts as blonde girl's going down, sprawling on her face at Emmanuelle's feet. KO5 in savage fashion - Emmanuelle "Legend Killer" Vaugier.

After: Vaugier grinning, strutting the ring hands high as poor Jessica sleeps off the hurt...veteran TV brunette bags another respected name en-route to being one of the worst risk-reward situations in boxing. "Jessica Alba's done," Vaugier chuckles in postfight, eyes dancing. "Stick a fork in the 'super-starlet' - she's had it as an elite fighter. I took what I wanted - you guys saw it. She came in thinking the Alba-brand would win the fight outright, but I wasn't buying. Big names don't scare me. They don't have my looks, most don't have my talent, and when we get to choppin', they just can't stand with me in the pocket!"
