Before: Turner comes in looking sharp, fit, after working with Gillian Anderson in camp. Dani favoured, but pundits speculate about her title defense jinx and wonder whether Turner will be able to exploit it. Black sports bra, red Adidas terrycloth trunks for J.T., white sports bra, light blue Adidas trunks for Dani.

During R1: Girl collide mid ring and exchange snapping right uppercuts inside - within moments, Fishel's legs buckle from a spank across her sternum, and Turner takes over. Leaning side to side, J.T. pounds away at Dani's flanks, putting hurt on the champ's cute face, but Dani sucks it up to come forward the rest of the round. Pushing and shoving her way into Janine's body, Dani's expression clearly reveals she's labouring, but she rolls up on Turner to the bell with sustained two fist punching to the waist.

R2: Fishel in control, fights off Turner's chest, pushing Janine's upperbody back to get room for jerking left hooks to the waist. Turner with her butt on the ropes, lays in with Dani, patiently taking a beating, but getting her licks in spots.

R3: Two way slugging action as the girls muscle it up inside, each trying to walk the other back, snapping at one another's midriffs out of the lock up. Down the stretch, Janine able to put Dani in retreat, chopping the little left hook down behind Fishel's guard, then bring the right uppercut onto the face.

R4: Fishel posting a punishing shutout, getting Turner's back to the ropes, then working her over like a little Joe Frazier. Left hooks pound away at Turner's jaw and right side, but Dani also steps back to open Janine up with a stumping little jab. Turner's defense broken up piecemeal as Fishel works off the jab to continue her sustained pressure attack inside.

R5: Fishel now in total control - Turner looking fatalistic, grimacing as the hook finds her tender ribcage. On the ropes, Dani works her way inside behind the banging jab, just jamming it in on Janine's face, then hooking hard to the body as Turner wilts. Janine doing a lot of clinching this round, looks hurt from bell to bell.

R6: Dani once again bullying Janine to the ropes, bouncing and hammering Turner to both sides of her body, and it's all too much. Turner woozily to one knee, up at 8, and looking pale, shaken. Dani digging in with her head under Janine's chin, pushes Turner deep into the ropes, then pulls out to attack with those heavy handed hooks - Janine groaning, pitching forward, trying to tie the champ up. Fishel won't be stopped - she ups the tempo, thick thighs and backside quivering as she pumps punches in on Turner, shoving the brunette back and going after the body with mean intentions. Savage, ripping hooks across the gut have Turner folded over, arms across her stomach, and Dani scores the goodnight right uppercut to drape Janine over the ropes. Turner out on her feet - Dani pouring it on, lefts and rights wide to the unresponsive face until the ref jumps in. Satisfying beat down KO for Dani Fishel leaves Janine a battered wreck.

After: Dani just doing her thing, outworking and beating an opponent into submission. New wrinkle is the Frazieresque jab, a nice tool for Fishel to pry open cornered opponents with, and facilitate that hook to the body.
