TESS VALMORE

Below are Tractorpull's Long Term Lightweight and Welter Rankings, which we usually do every three PPVs. The records detailed below are since the last ranking in February unless noted. Tractorpull does not tolerate inactivity when it comes to the rankings. One highly rated fighter in the last rankings dropped completely out because she hasn’t fought this year. If a manager can’t get a top lightweight at least three or four fights a year, either he or she has too many fighters or a lack of interest.

MARIA MENOUNOS She has only fought once taking the title from Cucuo She is on a five fight win streak with Strahovski, Vandervoort and Brook among her victims. She hasn’t defended her title since winning but I believe she has a title defense against Kurylenko scheduled

2 MISSY PEREGRYM The undersized lightweight continues to amaze. She chalked up two big wins over Strahovski and Biel

3 ADRIANA LIMA It never dawned on me that this model. who is the Queen of the Ice Hotel, would make the top ten. but here she is. She has won four straight with wins over the like of Upton, Brook and Decker

KALEY CUCUO. She lost her title and hasn’t fought since. She needs to fight in one of the next two PPV’s or she is on her way out of the top ten

5. JESSICA BIEL Some consider the best of the lightweights especially since Theron has disappeared from the lightweights. She is a streaky fighter. She lost to Peregrym then beat Palicki. If she is beginning one of her hot streaks, watch out

ADRIANNE PALICKI Lost to Peregrym, then KOed Brook. A dangerous fighter who has held the title in each of the last two years, she is now being trained by my broadcast partner Jenny McCarthy. We will see how that works out

7 ANNA TORV. Rises in the rankings with big wins over Larter and Kelly

8 JENNIFER LAWRENCE The queen of the Academy chalked up wins over CZJ and Ruah

9 MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD Activity keeps her in the rankings. She had only one fight beating Yustman

10 OLGA KURYLENKO Had wins over Strahovski and Holmes. Has title fight scheduled

ON THE CUSP

YVONNE STRAHOVSKI Strahovski lost her two fights during this period, losing to Peregrym and Kurlynko. She’s lost three out of four this year.

ODETTE YUSTMAN. Looks ready to make a move with wins over Taylor and Gadot

SERINDA SWAN won two over Gretzky and Grace. Undefeated this year in three. She has to step up in competition to break into the top ten

BROOKLYN DECKER Beat Valleta and Govich but stumbled against LIma

RACHEL NICHOLS dropped off the list. Had one fight early in the year and lost that one. She is off because of inactivity

THE WELTERS

For a long time we considered this to be a two fighter division. Everyone disagreed and threw out all kinds of names. It was going to be vibrant, hotly contested division. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen and it is still a two fighter division. I think the situation is hopeless. We will continue to have welter fights with many of the fighters pushing the late thirties into their forties or who are refugees from the lightweight division seeking greener pastures. The Crusade more interesting as to how Theron will survive, than any of the participants on the Crusade side

1. Amanda Righetti. The 600 pound Gorilla in the division. Sure she loses now and then but she remains on top

2 Bridget Regan The only fighter who has more than one fight against Righetti and never lost. Between the two, they dominate the division

ON THE CUSP

CASSIDY FREEMAN She has won five of her last six, beating Upton during this time period. Her only loss was to Righetti. She is vastly under-rated as far as I am concerned. If this is to be a three fighter division, i think she will be the third
