Before: Farrell in her second straight bout as underdog. Underachieving Luner still a tremendous latent talent, and a bout against Farrell could be just the thing to work out the kinks. Luner not taking the big brunette lightly, but confident, labeling Terry a “one trick pony and I know the trick.” Farrell in royal blue beach volleyball bikini, slick braid, white string bikini for Luner, braid.

During R1: Jamie jumping in with chopping lead rights early, establishes the quickness advantage by hurting Farrell in the first minute. In and out attacks, lead rights to take away the jab and hard hooks to the body have Terry backing up, extending her long arms to push Jamie away as Luner rolls in the first.

R2: Jamie getting carried away as Terry settles down, judging distance and keeping the redhead off with the jab. Terry circling left rams the left hand out, pre-empting Luner nicely who catches a face full of leather on her haste to brawl.

R3: Terry steering her opponent, stuffing the long left hand into Luner’s jugs and face—has the redhead leaning back, but Jamie can’t seem to get away from the long-armed brunette who touches her even when she seems out of range. Luner still loading up the right hand, can’t get ton Farrell’s chin—this is a fight that Terry can win easily.

R4: Luner making an adjustment, jabbing with the taller girl to disrupt Terry’s timing and re-establish the right hand, makes satisfying connects late to post the shutout.

R5: Jamie dropping a dangerous right hand onto Farrell’s face, and working s slashing left hook across the hips has Terry ashen-faced with snapping punches this round. Midway through, Luner shows those quick hands, slapping Terry with a quick right, reloading, landing the right cross AGAIN, and turning into the left hook across the stomach to back Farrell up with a sick expression. All Luner to the bell as she works her girl to the ropes, puts punches together which spank up and down Farrell’s long torso.

R6: Luner starting to get comfortable, outjabbing the taller girl with good timing, then jumping in with batting lefts and rights in combination, stepping out to turn Terry who is being broken down in these rounds Farrell lumping up on the left side of her face—she can’t stop Jamie’s right hands and both girls know it.

R7: Jamie mounting her slashing attacks slowly taking Farrell’s legs away, leaving darting right hands on the brunette’s stomach and jaw after every sequence. Midway through the round, Luner ducks in to whip a right hand into Farrell’s midsection when she gets TAGGED! Terry staying in the pocket, bends into a straight right hand which catches Jamie on the chi moving in—Luner goes limps, sinks to one knee, gets up, stumbles back and pinwheels to the ropes where she falls onto her back. She gets to all fours at 10, swaying back and forth, but this one’s over as Terry lifts her in victor. KO7 Terry Farrell.

After: Stunning upset is Terry’s second in a row and Luner still doesn’t know what hit her. Farrell getting outboxed and outclassed, showed good composure in walking Jamie into a crushing right hand and Luner couldn’t recover. Lots of moving parts in the swing, but Terry slowly getting the message across that it’s a bad idea to let her get set and pitch.
