BEFORE:

"I'm not supposed to win, of course," says Joanna with a gorgeous smile. "But, I wasn't supposed to take Pink 14 rounds, either. I could have beaten her that night, and I can beat Allison Mack tonight."

"I saw plenty of this girl last October," says Allison with a nod of the head. "She can fight and she's gutty as hell. She'll battle all night long. But a fight against Mack The Knife is ONE battle she can't win."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'High Enough' by Damn Yankees and here comes the wife of ex-Yankee Nick Swisher, Joanna Garcia!"

McCarthy: "I LIKE this girl! I remember her almost beating Weirdo's Number One Hooker, Pink. And I can't wait to watch her beat that phony Allison Mack tonight!"

O'Dell: "Garcia into the ring, helped off with the robe to reveal that same yellow number we saw in October..."

Oh the shark, babe
Has such teeth, dear

McCarthy: "UNBELIEVABLE!"

Tess: "For the fans at home, for some reason Mac still doesn't believe Allison Mack uses this song, even though Wiz bought the rights to it over two years ago..."

McCarthy: "Because IT'S MY SONG!"

Cassie: "I'm pretty sure if someone BUYS something, it belongs to THEM. Not some random Playmate with a fake rack."

McCarthy: "RANDOM? I'M THE PLAYMATE OF THE FREAKING CENTURY YOU LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Now, calm down Mac. Allison into the ring. Wearing that black robe with the gleaming silver knife blade with a single drop of deep red blood dripping from it. Helped off with said robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal a blood red bikini..."

McCarthy: "SHE couldn't be a Playmate of the Nanosecond, let alone Playmate of the Century!"

Cassie: "Speaking of nanoseconds, that's about how long you lasted against Allison in The Gauntlet..."

McCarthy: "I FOUGHT ALL NIGHT AGAINST AN ALL-STAR TEAM YOU LITTLE...4, 639. 4, 640..."

Cassie: "Who knew she could count that high?"

McCarthy: "4, 642..."

O'Dell: "The ladies are about ready to go and it's time for some picks. Tess on record favoring Allison. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Garcia's going to knock that phony OUT."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess..."

McCarthy: "Surprise, surprise..."

Cassie: "I like Garcia, but I think Allison's going to come out on top."

O'Dell: "Let's find out. There's the bell for round one, and Mack quickly working forward and going body. Joanna willing to hook with her, banging leather into the lats as Mack works up and stings the redhead with a good left."

Tess: "Garcia a nice right hand counter. For you fans who might not have seen Joanna's fight with Pink in October, if you're waiting for her to back down, you'll be waiting a LONG time."

O'Dell: "Mack very deliberate. Willing to work downstairs. Garcia a bit more aggressive. Putting punches together well...AND DOWN GOES JOANNA!"

Cassie: "Right hook from 'Mack The Knife'!"

McCarthy: "DON'T CALL HER THAT!"

O'Dell: "Referee's count at four, five, six. Garcia to her feet, takes the mandatory, and the ref will let it continue. Mack right back to work. Patient, jabbing, dropping the right hand over. Joanna unsteady, covering up, tying up when she can. Allison punching free to land a couple of good shots at the bell."

Tess: "And that knockdown puts Allison in the early lead, 10-8."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Into the second now and Allison now working that left hand, angling on Garcia, using the jab to set up the right hook to the body..."

Tess: "Tons of movement as always from Allison. Not just the feet. The head, the shoulders, the hands. Constant movement. Never easy to find."

Cassie: "And VERY busy. Always working. Never takes rounds off."

O'Dell: "Garcia looking mainly to counter now. Mack gets off and Joanna responds, but it's mostly one-punch stuff, because Mack is gone before she can follow up."

Cassie: "And this isn't the kind of movement you'd see with a girl like Scherzinger, who'll leg around and dance and circle. This is all footwork. A step or two here or there, left, right, back, forward, getting into a spot, landing, then moving the target."

O'Dell: "Garcia, as always, game. Taking advantage of every opening to score, but there aren't enough of them. Final seconds tick off, and it's a shutout round for Allison Mack."

Tess: "And a nice, comfortable 20-17 lead after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "The third begins with Allison back to work, using that left. Working patiently. Moving, touching, slipping and sliding."

Tess: "Mack never forces anything, and that's one of the things I like about her. She's never hurries, never presses. Always clinical."

O'Dell: "And that's what you're seeing here. Garcia again able to respond only in spots. Mack setting the pace, working the right hand off the jab, doing her due diligence to the body, keeping the redhead on the defensive."

Cassie: "Allison's getting into a pretty good rhythm now. That is NOT what you want to happen if you're in the opposite corner."

O'Dell: "Allison very smooth, very busy, just doing what she does, controlling tempo, controlling her opponent, racking up points to the bell for her second straight shutout."

Tess: "30-26. Allison in command."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "The fourth round gets underway with the blonde back to work. Mack again finding the range with that left hand. Popping it home again and again. Using the right mostly to the body. Joanna being mostly pre-empted. Can't seem to get off, and, when she does, she's not finding the target very often."

Tess: "Are you surprised Allison isn't being more aggressive, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Actually, Walmart, this is a pretty good strategy against a girl like Garcia. Joanna's spirited and gutty. She'll trade with you, and, as we saw against Pink, she can hit. So, why take chances against a girl like that? Go out and box her."

Cassie: "Are you saying Front Street's training staff have put together a good fight plan?"

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell: "I stress again, no drinking! The official rules say only when it's Tess. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Allison continuing to jab and hook, dip and duck. Joanna countering on occasion, but unable to put punches together."

Cassie: "This is one of the things that makes Allison such a good fighter, Jenny. A lot of girls are much less likely to win a fight if it goes to decision, and other girls need to take it the distance to have much of a chance, but Allison is very well balanced. She can win rounds off you, take you the distance and whip you on the cards, or, as Mac found out, she can take you OUT of there..."

McCarthy: "7, 898. 7, 899..."

O'Dell: "Final seconds tick away in the fourth and there's the bell, and that's three consecutive shutouts for Allison Mack..."

Tess: "And a 40-35 lead through four."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "There's the bell for the fifth and Garcia lands a quick left-right! And all of a sudden Joanna's letting 'em go! Garcia exploding on Allison Mack! Now it's the blonde on the defensive as Joanna's tossing a blizzard of leather at her!"

McCarthy: "This is the Garcia we saw against Pink! No fear! Just going after her opponent and damn the torpedoes!"

O'Dell: "Mack giving ground in good order, but giving it she is. Joanna putting punches together for the first time tonight, pony tail bouncing as she gets the hips into it. Mack catching some of it on her gloves and arms, but Joanna's doing plenty of scoring, too..."

Tess: "This girl HAS to get more fights! She is FUN to watch!"

O'Dell: "Joanna a SOLID combination...and Mack ROCKS her with a counter! Joanna fires back, but Allison NAILS HER AGAIN!"

Cassie: "Garcia had better watch it..."

O'Dell: "ANOTHER counter, Mack! Allison timing this now...AND SHE SENDS SWEAT FLYING WITH A BRUTAL RIGHT HAND!"

Tess: "Garcia wobbled but she flurrying right back..."

O'Dell: "AND TAKES ANOTHER COUNTER! Garcia a jab and Mack drops ANOTHER right at the bell!"

Cassie: "Joanna a little shaky going back to her corner."

Tess: "No wonder, after the shell Mack exploded on her in that last minute. I thought Garcia was going to win her first round, but Allison took it away."

Cassie: "50-44 through five. Mack in command."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Second half of the fight begins with Allison right back to work with that left hand. Mack popping the jab, hooking off of it, mainly to the body, suppressing Joanna with a heavy volume of work."

Tess: "Garcia standing in tough, countering in spots, but Allison's got her under control again after that uprising in the fifth."

Cassie: "An uprising Mack put down with about a dozen whiffs of grapeshot..."

O'Dell: "Wonder what the Vegas odds were on us having a Napoleonic reference on tonight's broadcast..."

McCarthy: "Truck, who's Paulie Onic?"

Cassie: "I know who's MORonic..."

O'Dell: "Hello, YouTube. How we've missed you. Meanwhile, back in the ring, Allison Mack isn't missing much of anything. Landing with both hands, keeping Joanna mostly at bay. Garcia seizing the odd opportunity to counter, scoring some at those times, but it's Mack in firm control from bell to bell."

Tess: "60-53 now. Joanna's going to have a difficult time winning if this goes to the cards."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Seventh round begins with Allison again in rhythm. All smooth movement, working the right hand off the jab, bobbing and weaving, shoulder rolling, lots of foot movement...and a GOOD right hand that got Garcia's attention!"

Tess: "Best punch of the fight for Mack, maybe."

O'Dell: "Joanna a bit shaky after that one, and MACK LIGHTS HER UP WITH A BIG FLURRY! Garcia wobbled backward, covering up, and Allison driving forward, forcing Joanna into the ropes..."

Cassie: "This is about to get UGLY..."

O'Dell: "Allison to work with both hands now, hooking the body to bring down Garcia's high guard, then SNAPPING back Joanna's head with a right hand! Garcia covering up and hanging on. Mack clinically pouring on the punishment, looking for the off switch."

Cassie: "THAT right hand might have found it!"

O'Dell: "Joanna stumbling along the ropes, but stays on her feet. Mack back to the body, SPLITS THE GUARD WITH A RIGHT TO THE CHIN! Garcia wobbled again! Referee looking closely as Joanna ties up. Mack an BIG UPPERCUT that sends Joanna spilling along the ropes again. Garcia ready to go...AND SAVED BY THE BELL!"

McCarthy: "This kid has guts. Hard to believe she's still standing after that..."

Tess: "10-8 round without the knockdown, Mac?"

McCarthy: "I don't pass many of those out, but, in this case, yes."

Cassie: "Which makes it 70-61 through seven."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Seven in the books, three more scheduled, but Allison Mack now looking like she wants to end the night a bit earlier than scheduled. Mack advancing behind the jab now, BANGING shots to the body, forcing a still-wobbly Garcia backward. Joanna fighting back viciously, but being forced out of her prepared positions...AND DOWN SHE GOES!"

Cassie: "Right hook!"

O'Dell: "Joanna knocked flat to her back! Allison to a neutral corner. Referee picks up the count at three. Four. Five. Six. Garcia rolling to her hands and knees and pushing to her feet at eight. Ref going to give her the mandatory and let this continue. Allison moving in quickly, all about finishing this thing now. Sending Joanna wobbling backward with a solid combination to the head. Garcia quickly backed into the ropes and Mack going to work..."

Tess: "Referee looking very closely. He's not going to let this go on for long."

O'Dell: "Garcia covering up, trying to counter, trying to do enough to keep the referee at bay. Mack landing heavy leather downstairs, bringing down the redhead's guard. GOOD LEFT HOOK, MACK! Joanna wobbled again but stays on her feet."

McCarthy: "No quit in her..."

O'Dell: "That's for sure, Mac. Allison laying in the leather, but Joanna won't go down! Mack hammering away right to the bell! Garcia gobsmacked but still upright as the eighth comes to an end!"

Tess: "Scorecards are going to be academic at this point, because if we get there, Mack's going to win, but, for the record, 80-69."

ROUND NINE:

O'Dell: "Between rounds, the referee spent a lot of time in Garcia's corner..."

McCarthy: "No doubt making sure she could continue, but if this clown thinks this girl is going to quit, he's dumber than the guy who robbed me against Campbell!"

O'Dell: "Joanna not going to quit. She's off the stool and ready for the ninth and there's the bell. And Mack is right back to work! Allison lighting Garcia up with a combination in the opening seconds! Joanna wobbled again, tying up now, but Mack punches free and SNAPS HER HEAD BACK WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

Cassie: "No IDEA what's holding this redhead up..."

O'Dell: "Allison again driving all before her. Joanna no way of holding canvas. Forced back into the ropes and Mack NAILS HER with another combination. Referee again looking closely, but Garcia grimly hanging on, fighting back as best she can."

McCarthy: "I've got to talk to Sceej about signing this kid..."

Tess: "You might not be the only stable thinking that way after October and tonight."

O'Dell: "Allison Mack, though, is thinking about tonight being OVER, and she's pouring the shell into a wobbling Joanna Garcia along the ropes. Right hook sends Garcia staggering to her right. Mack hammers a flurry into the body, then wobbles Joanna again with a left hook. Garcia jabbing back only to eat a nasty two-punch combination to the head that wobbled her knees again!"

Tess: "Referee again looking at this closely..."

O'Dell: "And Mack wondering what she has to do to finish this girl. Allison ANOTHER BIG COMBINATION, that one finished with a straight right that clearly hurt Garcia! But, again, the bell rings with Joanna still on her feet!"

Tess: "Wow."

Cassie: "If you're scoring at home, that's ANOTHER 10-8 without the knockdown. 90-77. But Garcia's still standing."

ROUND TEN:

O'Dell: "Ref made another visit to Garcia's corner between rounds, Mac..."

McCarthy: "And got told to go away just like the first time."

O'Dell: "So, the tenth round will happen and we're underway. Mack jabbing and GARCIA ROCKS HER WITH A RIGHT HAND! JOANNA'S GOING ALL IN IN THE TENTH..."

McCarthy: "Mack arm weary after these last few rounds and Garcia taking full advantage!"

Cassie: "But where's JOANNA getting this from?"

O'Dell: "RIGHT HAND AND MACK DROPS TO ONE KNEE!"

McCarthy: "Allison about to do her Daniela Ruah impression! I LOVE it!"

O'Dell: "Garcia to a neutral corner. Count to four. Five. Allison on her feet at six. Taking the mandatory. Referee waives Joanna forward and here she comes. Garcia slingin' leather. Mack backing up into the ropes in an earmuff, bobbing and weaving, tying up when she can. Garcia unloading everything, putting all the chips in and maybe stealing a few from the next table!"

Cassie: "Allison getting banged around pretty good right now..."

O'Dell: "No question about it! Joanna loading up on everything. Mack snapping back the odd jab, but mostly just ducking and covering. Garcia landing with both hands, desperately trying to get the blonde out of there..."

Tess: "Allison too sturdy to go, Jenny!"

O'Dell: "But Garcia's still firing away into the final seconds. And there's the bell! It's over..."

Tess: "And there's one of those hugs Mac loves so much..."

McCarthy: "Why don't they just sing 'Kumbaya' and get it over with!"

O'Dell: "No question plenty of mutual respect after that one. And no question about the decision, either. Garcia breaks up the shutout, but it's 98-87 for your winner by UD10, Allison..."

Cassie: "'Mack The Knife'..."

McCarthy: "DON'T CALL HER THAT!"

O'Dell: "Mack!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I've got our winner Allison Mack, and, Allison, crazy last round..."

Allison: "There's no quit in that girl. You saw it against Pink and you saw it again tonight. Lot of girls would have folded up long before we got to the last round, but give her credit, she just kept fighting."

Tess: "But, aside from that round, this fight was all Allison Mack..."

Allison: "Yeah, I had everything working tonight, no question, and, when I've got my best stuff, there's not a bantam in the FCBA who can beat me. Not one."
