BEFORE:

"Back in Philadelphia," says Cat with a smile. "I always enjoy being here. And this time I get a shot at the 'Queen of British Boxing'. Well, we'll just see about that, won't we?"

"Deeley's not fooling anyone with her 'happy to be here' nonsense," says Gemma. "She's here for one reason, to make a statement by pulling an upset. But. That is NOT going to happen. Not tonight."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's Sweaty Teddy and 'Cat Scratch Fever'..."

McCarthy: "Does Weirdo owe Nugent MONEY, or something? First Damn Yankees and now this..."

Tess: "The ladies choose their own music, and Cat Deeley apparently likes to use this song."

O'Dell: "Cat, of course, representing Beever's Babes, and she's wasting no time getting into the ring. Helped off with the robe to reveal a black bikini that certainly shows off her numerous charms. And that's 'London Calling' by The Clash, and here comes 'The Gravesend Gladiator' Gemma Arterton!"

Cassie: "Have you ever been to London, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Of COURSE I have! I was there in my 20s when I was Playmate of the Year!"

Cassie: "Wow. Really? That was pretty brave. Weren't you worried about Jack The Ripper?"

McCarthy: "Jack...YOU LITTLE...22,113. 22,114..."

O'Dell(sighing): "Gemma into the ring. Helped off with the robe to reveal that violet number she likes. And we're about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Gemma. How about you, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Arterton's no Anna Torv, but she's a little better than the average Dancing Hooker, so she's my pick."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "Wiz thinks Gemma's his best light. And Wiz is pretty smart. So, I'm picking Gemma."

O'Dell: "And there's the bell for the first, Deeley using that length right away, sticking out that long left jab, keeping Gemma off with it, looking to work at range."

McCarthy: "This is what Cat wants to do. She can box. She's athletic. She just doesn't want to bang with Gemma."

O'Dell: "And she's not, at the moment. Cat touching over and over with that left hand, keeping Gemma at bay as Arterton looks to close. The brunette slips past now and goes body, Cat slides away right and goes back to work at range..."

McCarthy: "Not taking long for the game plans to become evident, is it, Jenny?"

O'Dell: "It is not, and Gemma again working her way in close, bangs to the body, gets off a nice flurry upstairs. Deeley gives ground, circles away, Gemma right back on her, landing some heavy stuff."

Cassie: "Cat's going to have to punch for respect, or Arterton's going to be all over her all night."

O'Dell: "Cat backing and circling, Gemma again closing and going to work, banging home a good right in that exchange. And there's the bell, and, after spotting Deeley an early edge, Gemma made up the stagger and then some."

Tess: "No question it's Arterton's round."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second round underway and Gemma turning up the heat. Working past Cat's jab and walking her down."

McCarthy: "Cat doing everything she can to get some space here, but Gemma not having it. Wants to close with the blonde, and she's making it happen."

O'Dell: "Deeley trying to give ground and circle, but Arterton using those excellent feet to cut off her retreat. Gemma getting plenty of work done as she does so. Banging away upstairs, but certainly not neglecting the body. Deeley slips away, but Gemma quickly closes again...AND GETS NAILED WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

McCarthy: "THAT got Gemma's attention!"

O'Dell: "Certainly did! Stopped the brunette in her tracks! Cat going to work now, landing in combination. Has Gemma covering up. Deeley getting off lusty as Arterton gives ground for the first time."

Tess: "Cat banging away at range, landing that right hand effectively."

O'Dell: "Scoring well with the left also. Gemma firming up in the final seconds, but it's Deeley in control to the bell."

McCarthy: "And she's evened the fight up."

Cassie: "19-19 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third round underway and Cat Deeley back to work. She's got the distance she wants now, and she's poking away with that long left hand, using the jab to score and to keep Gemma at bay."

McCarthy: "Cat needed to punch for respect, and she did it in that last round. That big right hand got Arterton's attention and allowed Deeley to get the space she wants to operate."

O'Dell: "And Cat using that space very well. Landing in combination, scoring points with both hands. Gemma trying to work forward, but Deeley managing to frustrate those efforts."

McCarthy: "Cat fighting her fight right now, Jenny, and you can see how effective she can be doing it."

O'Dell: "Gemma working forward again now, hooks the body and ROCKS CAT WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

Tess: "Deeley's hurt!"

O'Dell: "And Arterton knows it! Cat in full retreat as Gemma goes to work. Arterton a straight right, left hook, RIGHT HAND AND DOWN GOES CAT!"

Cassie: "Caught her flush with it, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "Most certainly did and Cat blown to her back! Gemma to a neutral corner. Referee's count at four. Five. Six. Seven. Deeley still on her back, unmoving. Nine. TEN! IT'S OVER! And your winner by KO3 is 'The Gravesend Gladiator' Gemma Arterton!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I've got our winner, Gemma Arterton, and Gemma, you wasted no time going for the stoppage when you had her in trouble in the third..."

Gemma: "She reminds me a little of Lively, Tess. She's got a lot of length and she can box you for points. You don't want to stand out there on the end of her glove, and you don't want to let her hang around, either, or you might not like the results on the scorecards when it's over. When you get the chance, you need to take her out of there."

Tess: "How important was this win?"

Gemma: "There's only one way to keep up with girls like Anna, Decker, Swan, and Ruah, and that's to go out and take care of business. That's exactly what I did, because it's exactly what I DO."
