BBU "LAST GODDESS STANDING" PPV

Before: Rebecca Hall, having a big year, outside of the ring as she has a very visible supporting role in the highest grossing movie of the year in “Iron Man 3” and looks to capitalize on that against her opponent tonight, excited in her pre-match press interviews to get back into the ring. Michelle Ryan had a successful career of her own both in and out of the ring, appearing in matches in both the BBU and FCBA over the years. Both fighters eager to step into the squared circle, with both of them complimentary of the other as they prepare for the upcoming contest. It should be a very competitive match-up at lightweight ahead!

R1: The two lightweights head towards the center of the ring, Michelle weaving her way in to deliver clubbing rights and lefts, hammering forward with her brawny brand of offense to try to batter Rebecca backwards. Hall hammering at Michelle right back in response, rocking Ryan with some rangy jabs and following up with some hooks towards her ribcage. The two bumping and slugging with another in the ring, pressing up close as they clinch occasionally, but engaging again quickly upon separation as they try to both get on top. Rebecca managing to get the better of the exchange though, slamming in some speedy combinations towards Ryan's ribcage to double her over and taking round one with that display of power by Hall.

R2: Michelle picks up the pace in the second round, doubling up behind her jab as she moves in to try to establish her own power and force Hall back towards the ropes. Rebecca keeping her guard up as Ryan tries to buffet her across her head and shoulders, forcing Hall to cover up as she is dazed from the offense from Michelle. Ryan keeps up the pressure throughout the round, never allowing Hall to get in an offense of her own, with Michelle pouncing forward and continuing to pound across her upper body. Rebecca managing to get in some good shots on occasion to sneak in a right hook to tummy or left across Ryan's cleavage, but this round is all Michelle as she rebounds to take round two.

R3: Rebecca pouncing across the ring, eager to regain some momentum as she tries to slam in her gloves towards Michelle's ribs and clobbering her across her rack as well. Ryan a little surprised, it appears as her defense drops a bit, with Hall managing to pour in with the jab, continuing to try to split between Ryan's upraised gloves and smack across her cheek. Ryan managing to slip to the side with her legs, fighting her way past Rebecca's outstretched arms to sneak in a swift combination towards her face. Sending her blinking against the ropes as that right and left cross dazes Hall, with Michelle moving forward to take advantage and as she bullies Hall back towards the ropes, she steals the round late to take the advantage through three.

R4: Rebecca clearly frustrated at having the previous round stolen from her and comes out acting like it, eyes flashing as she comes forward fast across the ring once again, hoping to get into a rhythm. Michelle poking at her with her jab, using her left to jab Rebecca backwards and then hooking her with her right to her ribs, abs and torso. Rebecca's offense being preempted by Michelle's muscular forearms, whacking away, but Hall hooking away up top, bending in as she keeps shrugging in short hooks to the brunette's face and shoulders. As the round progresses, it's Ryan forced to cover up as she staggers towards the ropes and Hall presses forward, stunning Michelle with a series of rights and lefts that smack into her cheek, sending her butt in ropes while Rebecca regains momentum after four.

R5: Michelle weaving forward, determined not to go down, stepping into a jab as she keeps moving to snap her gloves into Rebecca's face. Coming forward off of her legs, moving forward as her forearms keep pounding forward, slipping in short shots and uppercuts to keep Rebecca backpedaling. Hall is clearly dazed, but manages to clinch for a moment and upon separation, drills in a short chop across Ryan's chin to send her head to the side, stumbling a few steps before charging in. Hall feeling a little more confident as she sends in low jabs, just rotating her hips as she stuffs in shots to opposing tummy as Ryan tries to establish herself once again. Hall continually looking to disrupt her, jabbing across her chest and face as she tries to body her backwards, but Ryan keeps coming forward with jabs coming up top. Hall manages to duck underneath the rangy jabs as she keeps wearing Ryan down. In the final minute, she steps to the side and displays some great timing as she picks Ryan up with a clean right uppercut and deposits her onto her back with a thud as RYAN IS DOWN! The ref coming in quickly as Ryan struggles to rise, rolling to all fours but can't make it back up before the count reaches ten with Rebecca Hall awarded the match via KO5!

After: Rebecca obviously very exuberant about her victory, beaming as she removes her gloves and high fives members of her corner. Michelle still recovering a bit from her loss, but coming off well in her first official action in a BBU ring in some time, but accepting a post-match handshake from her opponent as the two appear to have a healthy respect for one another. Rebecca, however, gains quite a bit of confidence from her biggest BBU win yet, calling out her “Iron Man” co-star Gwyneth Paltrow in addition to other established lightweight names from the BBU and with a win like this, the sky is the limit for her, right?
