Before: Theron looking to get back into championship form faces new and improved Driver who reportedly puts down a six figure bet on herself to win. "Theron is old news," a confident Minnie reports in pre-fight, "Beating up Charlize should get me Cat Bell, and beating Bell puts me right where I belong. There is no competition here for me - I've come to conquer!" Theron still the bettors favourite - but there are more doubters now than there were 6 months ago. Charlize in white string bikini, Minnie in royal blue.

During R1: Theron popping one-twos stepping smartly around Minnie and setting tempo -Driver with her gloves high, blocks a lot of shots, grins back at Charlize and walks the blonde down all over the ring. Theron pitching a shutout in retreat, but in the final minute, Driver opens up, slashing a wide left, chopping right combination to punch with Charlize who stands and slugs. Exchange of licks goes Driver's way as Theron staggers back, suddenly glassy eyed, and Driver steps in with a baseball pitch overhand right to the face that rag dolls the blonde at the ropes. Charlize out on her feet, gloves at her lips, stares blankly as Minnie sails in with a wild smile, slugging feverishly to the bell. Crowd roaring as Minnie celebrates - Theron bleeding from the nostrils looks shellshocked.

R2: Minnie out with that devil-may-care grin, hurling overhand rights against Charlize' jab and shutting down the blonde's left hand. Driver walking Theron down, puts hurt on with the left and right slugging - Theron standing in, soaking up, then wobbling away to try to get some room. Midway through the round, a clubbing right hand spanks hard around Charlize' guard, and the blonde goes wobbly butt, staggering in front of Minnie, gloves at her face, just trying to cover up. Driver pouring it on, pounds at shoulders, biceps and gloves, finally beating down the defense and swiveling Charlize’ head as the blonde reels. Theron chased from corner to corner, Driver just swinging for the fences and pounding her girl with sheer brute force. Bell sounds again to save Charlize who sits numb on the ropes, eyes swelling, mouth bleeding as Driver hops away with glee.

R3: Minnie now in bully mode, forcing Charlize to slug - blonde's legs too shaky to do anything else. Even mauling early as the girls use shoulders and forearms inside to push for punching room, but down the stretch, a clean left hook turns Charlize' head violently to one side, and she nearly takes a knee. Theron clinching, looks battered as Minnie coos in triumph while slapping at the blonde's back and kidneys.

R4: Charlize getting a second wind, Minnie tiring, and Theron able to get out the stick this round. Back to basics for Charlize, jamming in the jab, rotating to her left, getting off first and disrupting Minnie's rhythm. Theron on the board wins a breather round for both fighters.

R5: Minnie with that high guard, picking off Charlize jab, then stepping into a booming hook on the point of the chin to drop Theron at the open. Charlize on her butt, face battered, mouth open, doesn't look like she's got anything left, but she guts it out, takes 8, and wanders back in for more. Smash mouth boxing as the girls lay in forehead to forehead, peeling back to whip long armed hooks to the body and head, while clubbing right hands to the ear or jaw line. Minnie pumping her fist at the bell, taunts a staggering Charlize Theron as the points continue to pile up for the brunette.

R6: Minnie still applying tremendous pressure - Theron can't get into her boxing game plan. Charlize pinned to the perimeter of the ring, Minnie stepping with her and answering every punch with pounding ferocity from either fist. Inspired slugging from Minnie as she beats Charlize down again this round, leaving the blonde slack jawed and aching after another series of blistering exchanges.

R7: Theron showing that resiliency, comes out on her toes and takes the momentum with an artful jab up the middle. Driver still coming forward, but the lateral movement has her helpless - she follows Theron around the ring, walking into hard right hands as Charlize finds the range. Round ends with Theron working off the jab to land a crisp right cross on the teeth, left hook on the jaw, right uppercut on the chin to back Minnie up at the bell.

R8: Minnie looking flat footed, and a little marked up after eating the shutout last round, and Theron picks up where she left off. She's hammering the jab through Minnie's high guard now, spanking back Driver's head, and messing up the brunette's footwork. Charlize getting off first and moving well, has Minnie taking, and the blonde slowly turns up the heat. Midway through the round, with Driver crouched behind her gloves, Theron twists her hips into a series of chopping left uppercuts, finally busting the brunette up and spilling her to the ropes with a stunned look. Minnie covering up, leans forward and gives Theron the ribs, which the blonde takes with wide, spanking shots from either hand. Driver hurting, slumping, and Charlize victimizes her with left and right uppercuts off of body shots to break down the defense. Driver helpless, gloves low, eyes staring, and Charlize pours it on, paying Driver back for every brawling punch, and DRIVER GOES OUT! Minnie lolling on the ropes, hands in her lap, is punched senseless as Theron rains down lefts and rights to force the ref to jump in. Theron's battered lips crack a weary smile as she lifts her mitts in triumph - TKO8 Charlize Theron.

After: Stirring Theron comeback shatters Driver's dreams of world domination, leaving Minnie in tears at the announcement. Charlize admitting surprise at Driver's fitness and power early, but she didn't panic, weathered the storm, drew out Minnie's reserves and stopped the brunette with a very professional finishing flurry. Theron finally answering critics who suggest the blonde has lost her ability to win tough fights, claws her way out of this one in spectacular fashion.
