BEFORE: Lucy tweaking her training, doing a stint on Laura Vandervoort's "Beach Pounce" TV show - acting as spotter, providing perimeter support during Laura's attack runs. It's all part of the development of Lucy Hale as an all-surface celebrity battler. "It's been sooo great," Lucy gushes of her beach experience. "It's a huge responsibility watching Laura's back on sand - usually Hayden does it, but they're trusting me to spot targets and intercept any interference. I had to chop-block a girl who was rushing in to break up one of Laura's finishes - you really have to be on your toes! Plus, Laura gave me the green light to pounce girls my own size after she'd claimed a couple, and it just gave me so much confidence! I just asked myself - could JoJo have gotten past me? Could JoJo have survived my pounce? The answer I came up with was no - no way!"

JoJo rolling her eyes - she, like many flyweights - is deeply unimpressed by Ms. Hale. "When will it stop?" JoJo asks rhetorically at podium. "When will the PLP stop trying to make Lucy Hale 'happen'? SHE CAN'T FIGHT! NOT AT ALL! I'll beat this girl like a little hobo! You guys have to stop fawning over her...all she does is talk tuff and get her ass kicked. Plus? If I EVER see this girl on the beach? She better HOPE she's with Laura V, 'cause otherwise she's goin' OUT!"

During R1: FIGHT! JoJo snarling, rushing up to Lucy, punching right hands into paunch with a batting, straight-arm delivery. Hale grunting in receipt but standing ground...she joins the party with right hands batted tuff to JoJo's belly! Girls just laying into one another's bodies, sporty little backsides shuddering side to side as they belt away - occasionally, the back (right) foot of either girl will skip up off canvas with the violence of their delivery. Lucy breaks up the single-minded mayhem with a shoving left to JoJo's tits, followed by crisp right cross to chin: JoJo's head gets turned aside, she totters to her right, and Hale's in charge. Lucy stomping forward, hurling hard right/lefts at JoJo's head/shoulders, then hunkering down to bounce left/rights off JoJo's belly as Levesque staggers into ropes. LUCY'S GETTING OFF ON JOJO! Hale just pouring it to JoJo - arms pumping - fists thumbside up, jamming left/right/left/right into JoJo's hips/tummy. JoJo cringing, trying to cover up...she's savagely worked over before pulling Lucy into clinch. Ref's break...panting Hale back at JoJo hup-hup-hup...Double J fighting well off the ropes - sliding to her right, fetching Lucy hooks; timing her for jolting right hands to mouth. Lucy takes what she must, works her butt off to make sure she's out-hitting JoJo to bell.

R2: JoJo gets the jump, beating Lucy to punches as girls wail away toe-to-toe midring. Double J in a nice tight rhythm - thumbside-up lefts and rights pounding off tits and face - JoJo with her elbows in, scrubbing side to side inside Lucy's arms...Hale's catching clout. Lucy beaten back to ropes...JoJo hops in close, BURIES right hand deep to paunch...poor Lucy bunches up "UH-H!" right arm draping across JoJo's shoulders as Double-J crowds in close. JoJo cackling - pushing Lucy into ropes, belting her body/hips, keeping Hale on her heels. Tough time in the pocket for Lucy: JoJo's in close - left hand pushing Lucy's right shoulder while JoJo's packing rights to tummy, or left hand pulling Lucy's right tricep forward while right forearms plow Hale's jugs! Lucy sniveling, wearing down...JoJo just too strong once she's in position and dishing! BELL: JoJo shouts: "JUST QUIT!"
Lucy: "NO!"

R3: Lucy's turn...wild mid-ring brawling sees her kiss several free-swinging lefts and rights off JoJo's head and shoulders...Levesque sputtering, swept into ropes where she covers up earmuff. Lucy goes at JoJo like a little Lacey Chabert - reaching in to pull apart Double J's guard; pumping tummy hup-hup-hup; getting up into those jugs with uppercuts or shoulder-butts; belting JoJo upside the head. Double-J miserable, getting trounced, constantly ragdolled into ropes...she just can't push back against Lucy - Hale too strong once she's established top position at ropes. BELL: Lucy shouts into JoJo's wincing face, hot breath blowing Double-J's hair back: "I'M BRAWNY!"

JoJo: whining, pushing Lucy back by her stomach as ref' moving in.

R4: Breathless hot-tossing two way...girls with hair in their eyes, teeth bared, chests heaving - they're trying SO HARD to belt one another out. Leads to sloppiness - girls stumbling when they miss over-committed haymakers; girls falling in/wriggling and struggling in grinding embraces. JoJo gradually getting the better of Lucy with a stubby little jab - just enough face-poke to startle Hale, leaving her vulnerable to swinging rights to chin. Lucy taking JoJo's power well, but she's frequently slugged out of her stance, made to look disorganized, rushed through 4. During the break, both girls ignore respective trainers to shout threats and accusations from their stools! Job of work to get li'l sluggers to focus!

R5: Lucy bangs back - feeding JoJo a stubby, palm-down right over Double-J's left shoulder in close; hooking JoJo's tits the thumbside-up swinging left...Double-J can't hold her canvas. Lucy blundering into well-timed counters at time - JoJo walking her girl into uppercuts or straight right hands, then getting swarmed as Hale pours on through. Good stuff - JoJo placing fewer shots with higher-quality; Lucy just stomping forward, backside a-jiggle as she slugs - strong little back and shoulders seemingly always at work. JoJo eventually worn down and discourage...she's sitting in ropes, showing earmuff at bell, taking thumping left hooks against her ribs.

R6: JoJo mouthbreathing, looking disheveled...Lucy jumps on her at the open. JoJo getting arms up to block, but swinging roundhouse right caroms off her forehead, unhinging her knees! JoJo whining, stumble-stepping around...Lucy almost corkscrewing herself into canvas when she misses a swinging left! Hale all eyes blazing, walking JoJo down, trying to take her out with all-haymakers-all-the-time offence...JoJo slowly getting herself together as Lucy's flailing away. Midway through, JoJo feeding Lucy jabs to jug - Double-J just getting herself together...Hale clangs a sweeping left hook "pinky" punch (ie: fist landing on the pinky side) off JoJo's forehead. JoJo's right foot slides too far foreward...she sits down hard, rolling onto her back in shock! JoJo blubbering in shock, hands up above her head, chest shuddering...she keeps trying to roll over her right side, keeps rolling back onto her back, sniveling and crying harder as the count starts to eat her up. It's over - JoJo can't get off her back...KO6 Lucy Hale in spectacular fashion!

After: Lucy SO excited - bouncing around the ring, hugging her associates and trainers...it's arguably her most furious performance as a professional. "I'm not just hype!" Lucy crows in postfight. "I'm brawny, and I'm getting beach-tuff, and girls like JoJo better just look out! Not saying I'm ready for Hayden yet or anything, but I punch hard, and I make girls work for canvas. If you want to compare me to Lacey Chabert, I mean, I love that, except for her being slutty and everything. She's got a hard-nosed, hard-hitting style, and that's the kind of fighter I am. Just ask JoJo how hard I punch!"
