BEFORE: "Holt is ripe for defeat," Nikki smiles confidently in prefight. "They've done a good job with her - easy fights against bad-body stooges and hobos - lot of pork, but the hype looks good - got that gaudy 0 going for her. Taking that away will be exquisite. I'm not just beating another pampered blonde-girl by taking this girl out - I'm ruining the longest win streak in boxing, and breaking a heart in the process!"

Holt cruising from woman to woman, never tasting defeat in her FCBA career - she's glowing with unbowed confidence in rebuttal. "It's a bit rich hearing a Frontstreet fighter talk of padded records and poor competition," Claire snarks at podium. "I remember once when Nicole was herself more or less in my position, but THAT was pure hype. I'll show her what it means to be a true phenom in this fight. I'll eclipse her - batter her if need be. Niki's footwork exquisite - like desert sands drifting in the wind...Holt turning, chasing, but unable to get a read on the swirling landscape. Final moments, Niki's got the shutout wrapped up, but she punctuates her work: swift lead right to chin; cutie-pie dip-and-rip right uppercut to chin; extra right cross to chin with left hand dangling at the side - Niki pivoting counter-clockwise around the hit as Holt's staring, double-clutching on the spot. Scherzinger demure, gliding back to her corner all flashing midnight eyes and soft hair...she turns a boxing match into a Persian Ribbon Fight through 1.

R2: Holt shrugging off Niki's classy touches, comes out slugging...Scherzinger picks blonde girl apart off the counter. First minute - Holt missing like she's fighting smoke - Nikki slipping and twisting, cuffing back nuisance-counters while pivoting, just angering her blonde. Minute mark, Nicole rolls-right with a brawny Holt right hand; answers back a CRISP right uppercut...Holt's heels scoot forward, buns and thighs all a-wobble...curvy legs hold her up, but she's stepping in fence-post holes. Blonde girl tragically aggressive, stumbling forward, trying to put a blockbuster on Nikki: Scherzinger rolling shots Mayweather style with that lead left shoulder, then catching Claire straight rights from the screen; more vicious right uppercuts off Holt's right hand misses; clouting wide left hooks to ear while pivoting clockwise. Holt blinking, eyes unfocussed...she's stomping around all hurt and wobbly-butt, stumbling after Nikki as Scherzinger's nimble fists apply a vicious lashing...Bell to bell Scherzinger puts stripes on Claire, has the blonde girl swaying in her stance...judges make it 10-8 without the knockdown as Nikki features her finest leather.

R3: Nicole making brazen, beguiling eye-contact - like she knows a secret about Claire. Holt resilient, shaking off a harsh second round, but she hasn't found any answers...still trudging forward, trying to belt Nikki to sleep with one good shot, but finding the geometry impossible to solve. Nik never running - it's the odd hop or shuffle-step to her right; sliding pivots to her left, the torso undulating, hands relaxed, limbs loose. Nik seeing all Claire's punches, ducking under them, coming up with left shoulder in Holt's body to nudge her off balance - push-turning Holt midring. Nicole's right hand lasered-in...she's fetching Claire vicious roll-counter right uppercuts off Holt's errant right hands; she's feinting Claire, then pasting her the hesitation right cross - just jotting it across bewildered blonde chin. Nik's left hand hovering hip-high, ready to cuff blonde tummy, or swipe hooks off the right (back) leg - usually after a lead right has scored and Nicole's sliding to disengage. Claire a frazzled, staring beauty, facing into swift, slashing pinpoint strikes, unable to get her own sledgehammers onto Nicole's nubile frame. Bell: another blistering shutout sends Claire wandering in shock back to her corner...Nicole demure, but smiling confidently as she's rubbed down during the break.

R4: Holt unpacks the jab, pounding it against Nicole's chest to locate...heavy, no-nonsense poke enough to disrupt brunette's lithe rhythm. Behind the stiff left, Claire's able to come forward...now she's stepping to the side, cutting off the ring; now she's lowering her head, banging Nikki's ribs right/left, forcing Scherzinger into scampering evasive action. Nik trying to walk Holt into more of those circus counters, but blonde girl either walking-through, or paving the way with her jab...not so easy for Scherzinger to potshot this round. Midway through, thudding right/left to midsection bunches Nikki up...she drapes her arms around Claire's neck, issuing clinch for the first time. Holt waddle-walks Nikki to ropes - left hand on polished right hip while right hand continues to pump tummy...ref eventually issues break, but heavy body blows have Scherzinger distressed, mouthbreathing. Pressure continues from Holt...she'll jab Nikki on ring apron - wary of Scherzinger's sleek pocket defence, but bodying up to wrestle Nikki flat...blonde girl dragging a princess into the mud, putting a tummy on Nicole, making things sloppy. Scherzinger grimacing, trying to push curvy blonde girl off, but Holt won't have it...Claire gets work done, finally putting some mileage on that supple brunette body, leaving Nicole humming with hurt through 4.

R5: Holt encouraged, spring in her step returns as she advances on Nicole behind a pawing jab, raunchy right hands, clubbing hooks. Scherzinger lithe in retreat, rolling with shots, taking the steam out of them, but through 2 minutes, Claire's hurtling pressure effectively has Nicole on the defensive. Down the stretch, Holt's right hand is slipped as Nikki rolls-with, then answers back that wicked-quick right uppercut counter...Claire's heels scoot forward, buttocks tremble and she's terribly hurt all over again! Curvy blonde legs hold Claire up, but she's momentarily astonished...stooping forward in earmuff, she takes a savage lathering to bell - Nikki with teeth bared, lashing her fists to either blonde flank while retreating in good order. Scherzinger steals the round, her eyes ablaze as she struts back to corner all I-won't-be-bullied.

R6: HAMMER AND TONGS! Holt SO determined - bobbing her way forward behind that chest-seeking jab, then trying to explode forward with right hands. Nicole scattered by hurtling blonde violence at times, but also making Claire pay - picking Holt up crowd-pleasing right uppercut counters, or kissing right hands sharp across the face. Holt taking a terrific punch, rarely moved by Nikki's slashing efforts...constant strain on Scherzinger to hit-and-shift, lest she be drawn into bruising toe-to-toe. Nik walking the razor's edge over the last minute - touching Claire, sidestepping her, ducking low and coming up with the shoulder-bump, pivoting-right off the maneuver, sometimes trailing a supple hook across Claire's belly as a forget-me-not.

R7: Claire storming in, disrespecting Nikki's power...blonde girl closing distance behind her jab, then bashing brutal thumbside-up rights and lefts at Scherzinger's supple ribcage. Brunette blown back into ropes - Nikki distressed, feeling Claire to the body...blonde girl reaches left hand in to push Nik's right inner-elbow back, bludgeoning Scherzinger overhand rights to head/sidearm rights to flank. Nikki tying up, sagging back into ropes under Claire's squirming weight...ref issuing breaks, but no question Holt's the aggressor now. Midway through, sustained stalking pursuit along the ropes sees Claire feed Nikki a bashing assortment of lefts and rights to ribs...Nik's not making Holt miss; she's taking these. SCHERZINGER TAKES A KNEE! Nikki mouthbreathing, wincing, but alert, acting like a veteran: she catches her breath, takes an 8 while Holt paces neutral corner like a caged lioness. ON COMES CLAIRE! Cage door opens, lioness pounces: Nikki under siege at ropes, really taking it thick. Scherzinger stooping forward butt-in-ropes, hands high on her head, palms out, trying to weave her way through the storm. Holt snarling, leaning in close...she'll slug brutal right hands up into Nikki's ribs - left hand riding atop Nik's right shoulder, holding her steady. Holt beats short lefts and rights off Niki's head/shoulders - brutal, clubbing shots, loosening Scherzinger up. RIGHT UPPERCUT, CLAIRE HOLT! Holt sends a charge through Nikki's legs as the uppercut picks Scherzinger up...she lolls against ropes all spellbound, staring, lips parting. Clubbing lefts and rights beat upside Nik's head...she groggily tilts forward at the waist. HOLT'S SLUGGING AWAY TO GLORY! Brawny blonde girl just in there digging - shoulders rolling as she feeds sleepy Nik shrugging left uppercuts; healthy, slamming rights to ribs/tummy; hooks to flank; bashing rights across scalp. Nicole blubbering, trying to smother, but all she's doing is positioning herself in Claire's wheelhouse...Nik eats a super-short right uppercut inside - she slumps face-first into Claire's chest, then slides down Holt's left hip to sprawl face-first at Claire's feet. That's it! KO7 Holt in come-from-behind fashion.

After: Holt in hysterics - badly beaten blonde withstands slashing assault early, then rolls over her sleek foe with bone-crunching power...Claire's the hottest hand in boxing with her 8th straight win! "I definitely felt her class early," Claire admits, her punished face telling the tale of Nikki's cruel accuracy, "but I wasn't about to quit. A woman like this, you can't back down from her or show weakness - I knew I had to keep coming at her - show her she couldn't hurt me. I broke her with my legs and curves, I broke her with my heart...I feel I'm the best bantamweight in boxing right now, and I don't care what the experts say, I want the winner of Munn/Michalka! Boxing's never seen the like of me before...I deserve a title shot!"
