BEFORE: Earlier last month Candice Swanepoel has requested to leave Ginny's Academy and wasted little time in finding a new home, the equally mighty Foxfire Boxing which swiftly overlooked her poor record in recent bouts. Indeed, the South African model has won only two of her last nine but there's nothing like boosting your chances in a new environement especially paired against a smooth but inexperienced rival on your debut.

Joanna Krupa struggled for exposure since getting destroyed by Brooklyn Decker but returned to the limelight with a brave performance against Yvonne Strahovski and then knocked out Marisa Miller to cause a stir among the model community. She's fully focused on securing another scalp and plans to spoil Candice's Foxfire debut in the most vicious way possible. However Swanepoel dismisses her fellow blonde's chances, "You got to realize, I'm better than her, I can punch harder than her and let's be honest, while I was fighting Adriana Lima and Katrina Law, she was pounding that old hack Miller instead. I mean, it's not 2006 anymore, Marisa is just a random tramp these days and I'll make sure Joanna gets the stuffing knocked out of her tonight! Welcome to my new & improved career at Foxfire!"

Round 1:
Candice shows more speed across the canvas early, seeks judges' approval with some nifty moves and tries to make Joanna look sluggish at best, reaches after her with repeated jabbing and grazes the flesh, not much power but the ammount leaves Krupa hanging back and hardly offering any reponse. Swanepoel ups the tempo down the stretch, swings around the head and finds success as clips Krupa's chin, follows up on the temple and a similar swinging response from the Pole goes nowhere, despite visible strenght behind the leather. Candice targets the head, forces the older blonde to cover up, leans on her and rips into her tummy, bangs a solid series and has Joanna dropping her arms before eating another hook on the chin. Candice with more means looks at her hitherto cumbersome rival, sends more shots on the head and outoworks Joanna in close range again, snaps her head back and keeps moving forward, whacks her around the elbows and sags on her knees. More overhand from Krupa miss the target; Swanepoel dekes to the side and spikes the liver area, has the Polish model moaning in the final minute as the ammount of Foxfire leather proves too much; Candice staggers her with more shots on the ribs and another hook clips Joanna's chin, now the Pole is annoyed with Swanepoel jabbing at her midriff afterwards and pushing towards the ropes... low jabbing on the tummy as Krupa seeks clinch and gets caught; she bends forward and eats an uppercut on the jaw, leans back on the ropes but gets rocked with a left/right combo at the bell and opens her eyes really wide as Candice jumps at her and tries to inflict more damage but runs out of time. New & improved Swanepoel? Spot on!

Round 2:
Joanna's really annoyed as she took few punches too many and realized that Candice ain't gonna take it easy on her Foxfire debut. She leaps after the South African and just beats her for a left hook on the cheek as Swanepoel yelps out in pain and misses her effort, gets countered on the chest with a big right hand working well for Joanna who moves on the front foot and tries to indicate to her rival she's anything but a journeywoman punchbag. She lands more shot on the chest, forces Candice to cover up and circle back but more swings just miss her head and Krupa seeks redemption from there, she whacks Swanepoel on the ribcage, bounces off the high guard and finally eats some leather on her own as Candice works around the elbows and both women trade shots from close range; quick upopercut snaps Krupa's head back but Swanepoel fails to bury her under a follow up barrage, continues to send single shots on the bandeau bikini; wardrobe malfunction on her mind but Joanna's breasts stand up to the challenge and the proud owner spikes the South African across the mouth, snaps her head back and reels to safety as further close action fails to materialise with Joanna just about getting her foot in the door; Swanny's mad at the bell though and spits out her mouthpiece in visible disdain, makes gestures towards Krupa's cleavage and she's anything but done with punishing her fellow blonde foe!

Round 3:
Here comes the punishment as Swanepoel squares up to Krupa and nails her with a huge left hook on the temple that immediately sags the older blonde on her feet and on comes Candice with a flurry of shots on the chest; she clips the chin again and snaps Joanna's head back, batters her in the middle of the ring and lands another hook on the jaw; Joanna's mitts torn apart and she gets smoked with a left hook on the brow ridge, right hand on the chin... ugh!!! KRUPA GOES DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE, pretty much thumped to the floor by a rampant Swanepoel who shakes her glove in delight and watches on as Joanna's eyes are wide open with shock again... she beats the count at six though, pushes herself off both arms from looks frightened in the eye as Candice rips into her guts immediately after the command, peppers the ribcage and has the Polish blonde just covering up in avoidance but still soaking up punishment, single hooks clips the chin & mouth as Joanna gets pushed back to the ropes and protects her head but Swanny still wants to turn her tummy into jelly beans and bashes it repeatedly, reduces Krupa into a moaning punchbag and keeps drilling that stomach, seemingly wants to cut her in half; reverts into rack jabbing in the final minute and has the red bikini top rocking from side to side as Joanna closes her eyes and just seeks a clinch but now the Foxfire camp demands a stoppage as Swanepoel begins to lose her breath and can't send Krupa down again despite a mamooth barrage. Krupa keeps moaning but ref allows her to continue, either smells a comeback or just enjoys one blonde model punching the brains out of another blonde model. Regardless, Swanny runs out of steam and falls into a late clinch much to Krupa's relief but that was still a royal ass-kicking from the South African model and she struts back to her corner somewhat less upset than before the third round, has Krupa right where she wants her.

Round 4:
On comes Candice again, seeks the finishing touches but walks into a straight right as Joanna refuses to fold and catches an overconfident blonde on the eye and rips into her chest, bounces off the chin before Swanepoel finds her nifty feet again and dekes to the side, forces Krupa to throw more useless shots and fade into settling mode. Angry look is back in Candice's yes though as she didn't expect eating more punches from a seemingly broken rival but Krupa ain't done here yet and tries to launch attacks of her own, snaps the younger blonde's momentum as both girls trade leather from mid-range in the second minute and Swanepoel seems to analyze how much is her opponent really hurting. Shades of one-punch destruction in the air as Swanny refuses to hit back with full force and allows the Pole to catch more respite before she finally manages to clip her chin again and follow up with more overhand leather on the cheeks that stagger Joanna on the spot; Candice on the move, rips into her ribcage and bounces off the chest with a precise jabbing combo; eats a right hook on the eye though and ducks low, gets slammed on the ribs with Joanna half-turning into her and seeking damage downstairs. She peppers Swanepoel's ribs and clips her chest as a sloppy trade-off ensues in the middle of the ring, left hook spikes Joanna on the eye but a response nails Swanny on the mouth and reels back to the ropes as the younger blonde keeps the upperhand but fumbles the first opportunity to put away the Pole for good; Joanna with a quick smile to her crew, realizes she's weathered the storm for now and some of the Foxfire camp still argue that the fight should have been stopped in the third already!

Round 5:
Krupa's got her breath back and leaps after Swanny who responds in a similar way, seeks that third round repeat and nails the older blonde on the chin but skims off it and eats a left overhand on the eye as suddenly a vicious leather trade-off ensues in the middle of the ring again with both women now looking to break each other's spirits. Candice stands tall and jabs between the mitts, catches Joanna on the mouth and snaps her head back, ducks under a left hook... but eats a right on the chest as she skimmed off the forearm; Krupa with a jabbing series on the chest, tears into Swanepoel's rack and makes her moans for the first time tonight, leans on her and peppers the ribcage as Swanny responds likewise and drills the tummy, clips the uppercut but gets beaten for another overhand effort and Joanna slams her on the brow ridge and wobbles; sends more leather on the head and cuts Swanny's left cheek with a left/right combo... proud Foxfire girl doesn't even realize it and turns into frenzy mode, pummels to the rack and almost wants to pound Krupa out of her bikini top but a quick left hook on the liver makes her moan as Joanna just doesn't crumble and slams a right hook on the jaw, follows up with another liver wrencher and has Candice rocking on her feet, left hook on the eye and now it's the older blonde bashing leather from close range all over Swanepoel's face, left hook on the nose and a right on the mouth... Swanny's turn to open her eyes in shock as Joanna spikes her from point blank range and bounces off the chin, arms drop lower and lower for the younger model as Krupa moans in predatory fashion, rocks Candice from side to side with more hooks on the temples, buries a jab on the rack and nails a visibly aching blonde on the jaw which spin her towards the ropes. Vulture-like approach from the Pole, she comes flying with a right hook... Swanepoel half-turns, adjusts, fires a wide hook aimed at the temple... Krupa tags her on the ear and sends spinning towards the ropes, right leg up for Swanny as she tries to stay upright but falls on the ropes, bounces dead-weight right in the path of another right hook, arms wide apart, messy finish on hand as Krupa whacks Swanny on the mouth and sends crashing down against the turnbuckle with her eyes closed. Good night Miss Sunshine! KO5 Joanna Krupa!!!

AFTER: Wicked knockout derails Swanepoel's Foxfire debut; she's left blubbering on the canvas and that was never on the cards after three rounds! Another upset win for Krupa following the destruction of Marisa Miller or is she finally announcing herself among the modelling peers? She finds time to adjust her bandeau top which took quite a beating early before finally preying upon her fallen rival. She screams out at Candice who's too dazed to acknowledge the abuse; gets kicked in the shin and urged to get up in order to worship the older blonde's performance but it's a no go.

Joanna finally notices she's given Candice a real nightmare and turns away from her, dwells on the crowd's reaction instead and indicates the streak she's building in recent weeks is only gonna get longer: "That's TWO in a row, baby! TWO in a row! Forget about what Decker did to me! I'm doing the same to some of the best names in business! Candi said that Marisa was just a random tramp! Well, I might say Candi's a random tramp tonight, just look at her laying out there knocked out of her senses! If there's anyone new & improved around here, that's me, baby! That's only me!"

As she continues to brag about her upsetting victory, the Foxfire crew is forced to unceremoniously lift a dazed Swanepoel from the canvas and escort her to the locker room. Talk about spoiling one's debut and Candice's woeful streak continues, make that two from the last ten; she had Krupa on the verge of stoppage, yet still ended up knocked out in brutal fashion. Fast out of the blocks, the "new & improved" model simply stumbled over the first hurdle and that's unacceptable for Foxfire's high standards. Watch out for a quick fix in upcoming weeks.
