BEFORE:

"No pressure on ME," says Vanessa with a gorgeous smile. "I'm just the last-minute replacement brought in here to replace the girl Pink WANTED to fight. And, when tonight's over, she'll REALLY be wishing Rose Byrne was here."

"Look, it doesn't make any difference to ME," says Pink with the hint of a smile. "Byrne, Minnillo, or any OTHER girl in the division. Signed 'em up, weight 'em in, and I'LL knock 'em down!"

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Getting ready for our third fight of the evening, and that's 'Rule The World' by the Beyonce, and here comes one of Ms. Knowles' biggest fans, the stunning Vanessa Minnillo!"

McCarthy: "Imma say this again, the most stunning thing about Minnillo is that she can GET a fight with HER record, even AS a last minute replacement. But, at least she's not an AUSTRALIAN fighting for Foxfire ATLANTIC, like Byrne! Australia is in the PACIFIC!!"

Cassie: "This geography lesson brought to you by Airheads. Airheads: We're Dumber Than You Can Possibly Imagine..."

McCarthy: "That's IT! You're banned from 'The View' for LIFE!"

Tess: "Can you DO that?"

McCarthy: "I just DID! I'm just going to tell my GOOD FRIEND Barbara Walters never to book this little creep!"

Cassie: "I often try to imagine conversations between you and Barbara Walters. She's talking about interviewing Nixon and you're talking about Khloe Kardashian's nail polish..."

McCarthy: "That dark blue looked terrible on her!"

O'Dell: "IF we could return to BOXING, please. Vanessa into the ring, helped off with the robe to reveal a green, orange, yellow, and black striped bikini that doesn't leave much to the imagination, and that's 'Trouble' you hear behind us and that can only mean 'The Queen of Front Street', Pink, is on her way to the ring..."

Cassie: "Here's where McCarthy makes a dumb remark about what she'd rather be queen of..."

McCarthy: "You LITTLE..."

O'Dell: "Now, calm down, Mac. Rumor has it the only thing HBO has to run if we get yanked off the air is 'Food of the Gods II: Hey, Who Knew Marjoe Gortner Was Still Alive?'"

Cassie: "Wait for it..."

McCarthy: "HEY! I was supposed to be IN that! Siri, call my agent!"

Cassie: "And THERE it is..."

O'Dell: "Honest, Mom, they pay me REALLY well for this. Pink into the ring, helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that black bikini with the white skulls she favors, and we're about ready to go. Tess on record as favoring Pink. What do you think, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Pink's nothing but average. She's waaaayyyy overrated. But, Minnillo is a typical Dancing Hooker opponent, no FCBA wins, so you have to favor the Dancing Hooker..."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess."

McCarthy: "Oh, for...she sounds like a parrot! 'I agree with Tess. I agree with Tess'. Cassie want a cracker?"

Cassie: "J-Mac want some PUDDING?"

McCarthy: "Don't even TRY it, you little..."

Tess: "Do we REALLY want to see 'Food of the Gods II', ladies?"

Cassie: "Well, I hear Ann B. Davis is in it. I always liked her. I hear she got the role J-Mac was up for..."

McCarthy: "She did NOT...she's like 80..."

Tess: "Actually, 87..."

O'Dell: "Bell! There's the bell for the first! Minnillo immediately looking to work her left hand, use that height advantage to her favor, but Pink working into range and landing a nice flurry."

Tess: "Pink's fought taller girls before. Vanessa's length isn't going to be much of a problem for her."

O'Dell: "Pink slowly taking control of the round, going to work on the body in tight, forcing Vanessa to retreat...and Minnillo goes into kamikaze mode! Vanessa firing away with everything she has...AND SHE NAILS PINK WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

McCarthy: "Pink's buzzed! That was as big a shot as Vanessa has in her arsenal!"

O'Dell: "And Vanessa going all in now, trying to reprise the Jennifer Morrison script! Pink being backed into the ropes. Vanessa firing away with everything she has! Pink in a high guard as Vanessa wings away throwing caution to the proverbial wind...AND DOWN GOES MINNILLO! PINK WITH A COUNTER LEFT HOOK!"

McCarthy: "Vanessa getting out of position there, Jenny, and Pink made her pay."

O'Dell: "Pink to a neutral corner. Referee's count at four. Five. Six. Minnillo to her feet. Takes the mandatory. Ref will allow it to continue. Pink immediately to work, backing Vanessa up with a nice flurry. Minnillo with the gloves high, covering up and giving ground to the bell! And Pink takes the round with the late knockdown."

McCarthy: "I'm scoring it 10-9, though. Minnillo was winning the round clean when she got dropped. Just made a mistake. I like the idea of her going all in to try to take Pink out, but she just got too aggressive and got sloppy."

Tess: "And gave Pink the early lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Action underway in the second and Vanessa right after Pink, but the singer not having any. Pinkness circling right, using foot and head movement, making Minnillo chase, stopping to flurry, then getting back on her bicycle."

Cassie: "Pink wants to settle this thing down after that first round. Not going to allow any jailbreaks right now."

O'Dell: "Minnillo trying to pressure, but Pink's a girl who does trapeze in her act. She's plenty athletic, plenty quick, and Vanessa seeking but not finding."

Tess: "Pink getting to her spots, getting off, then getting gone. Frustrating Minnillo a little bit at this point."

McCarthy: "Vanessa a half step off right now. Everything short."

Cassie: "This is the thing with Pink. She's very well balanced. She can get in there and bang you out, sure. She's very physical, very strong. But she can box every bit as well as she can brawl."

O'Dell: "As Vanessa is finding out. Minnillo can't find the range, and Pink is zeroing in with both hands. Vanessa all one punch stuff, Pink putting 'em together, making Minnillo work, making her chase. And shutting her out to the bell."

McCarthy: "20-18 through two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Third round underway and Pink lands a SOLID combination! Backs Minnillo up. Vanessa giving some ground now. Working behind the long left jab, making Pink work around it. The singer having little problem doing that, using head and foot movement to close and go body, works her way upstairs, forcing Minnillo to cover up."

Cassie: "I love to watch how Pink deals with taller fighters. She's not a tall bantam, so she gives up height and length sometimes, kind of like I sometimes do at fly. But you see how she handles it. Uses that quickness, footwork and movement to get where she wants to be, where she can score."

O'Dell: "And she's got Vanessa thrown over to the defensive after two rounds attacking. Pink forcing Minnillo out of her prepared positions, driving her back. Vanessa retreats, sets up again, only to be forced to cover up and retreat by steady, accurate fire from Pink."

McCarthy: "Got to wonder if this kid's gone into survival mode here after trying to win the fight early and coming up short."

O'Dell: "Not sure, Mac, but it's almost all defense from Minnillo right now, willing to give ground to Pink's pressure, staying in the center of the ring, not getting trapped on the ropes, but getting shutout for the second round in a row. There's the bell, and Pink in firm control after three."

Tess: "30-27 Pink."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Underway in the fourth and Pink again the aggressor. Minnillo trying to get the jab working, but Pink not having any. Working past the glove and letting the hands go. Sometimes working in close to go body. At others staying at middle distance to work up high."

McCarthy: "Minnillo flurrying back at times, but she can't sustain it. Every time there's a little uprising, Pink puts it down."

O'Dell: "The singer not loading up. Patient. Working hard. Staying busy. No hurry. Not looking to take Vanessa out of there necessarily. If it comes, she'll take it, if it doesn't, she'll take the points."

Cassie: "And Minnillo being VERY careful in there. Keeping the gloves up, tying up when Pink gets in tight. Not going to trade with Pinkness in there. No good can come of that."

O'Dell: "Vanessa game. Throwing back in spots, but Pink re-establishing control almost immediately with suppressive fire."

Tess: "Pink very smooth right now. Got all her pitches working. Setting Vanessa up again and again, working her into disadvantageous positions and getting off."

O'Dell: "And like a pitcher with all her pitches working, Pink throws another shutout. Bell ends the fourth, and it's four in a row for Pinkness."

McCarthy: "40-36 after four. We may have a blowout in the making."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Back to action in the fifth and it begins like the fourth ended. Pink in control in there. Pressuring. Making Vanessa give ground. Minnillo firing back in spots, Pink allowing the sallies to a point, then sending her back behind the city walls with a flurry of cannon fire."

Tess: "Wow! What imagery! Who knew Jenny O'Dell had it in her?"

O'Dell: "Vanessa staying in the center of the ring. Willing to retreat, but not into the ropes. Pink fighting for control of the ring here. Not looking to take the brunette out of there, particularly. Happy to outpoint her."

Tess: "Do you think Pink is just getting work in at this point, Cassie?"

Cassie: "Not sure, Tess. Could be. Then again, maybe she's just taking what Vanessa gives her."

O'Dell: "Another rally from Minnillo and another answering volley from Pink. Vanessa retreating again. Getting space. Setting up, and Pink again lobbing shot at the city walls. Final seconds tick off and that's the bell for the fifth. Shutout, Pink again."

McCarthy: "50-45 now. Getting more than a little out of hand."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth round begins with Pink on the offensive again. Vanessa again giving ground, trying to circle, snapping out a left hand to try to get some space. Pink all movement, getting beyond Vanessa's glove and going to work."

McCarthy: "Minnillo needs to get busier here and not worry about the consequences. She might get knocked out, but is that any worse then getting SHUT out round after round?"

O'Dell: "Pink a NICE right hand and that stung Vanessa! Minnillo backed into the ropes now and Pink going to work..."

McCarthy: "Looks like Pink is finally trying to take the kid out of there."

O'Dell: "Vanessa covering up on the ropes, tying up Pink when she gets the chance. Pink banging away at Minnillo's guard, looking for the 'off' switch."

Cassie: "Vanessa doing very well defensively here, Jenny. Good movement, rolling the shoulders, keeping the hands up, countering in spots, not giving Pink much to hit."

O'Dell: "Minnillo ties up again. Referee breaks and Vanessa slips away to open canvas, the immediate danger past. Pink again asserting control quickly, forcing Vanessa to retreat, but Minnillo has her legs back and is moving well. Pink not turning the heat up too much. Patient again, scoring with both hands and taking what she's given. Putting punches together and keeping Minnillo in check to the bell."

McCarthy: "Another round for Pink, and by the widest margin yet."

Tess: "60-54 now, through six."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Seventh begins with Pink right back to work, again immediately establishing control. Vanessa in a very defensive posture, keeping the guard high, not taking many chances."

McCarthy: "Pink not taking enough body here, Jenny. She's dusting the guard too much. Needs to bring that down with some work downstairs."

Tess: "Wonder if she's giving Vanessa a bit of a break here. Mannillo came in on short notice, she's fought hard and clean, maybe Pink doesn't think she needs to take her out of there. Maybe she just wants to beat her, not beat her UP."

McCarthy: "Well, that's STUPID, so I wouldn't put it past Weirdo and his bunch..."

O'Dell: "Vanessa continuing to retreat, staying toward the center of the canvas. Punching in spots, but mostly playing safety-first here."

McCarthy: "And this is ALSO stupid! Her corner ought to be telling her to throw it all in right now and try to win this thing."

Cassie: "You know, Mac, you calling people stupid is a lot like Lohan calling someone a train wreck..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell: "Pink continuing with the steady pressure. Vanessa remaining cautious, keeping the defenses up. Not giving the singer much of a target. Pink still able to score, however, and remain in control right to the bell. ANOTHER shut out round for Pink."

Tess: "70-63 Pink. Card starting to look ugly."

ROUND EIGHT:

O'Dell: "Eighth begins with Pink again on the offensive. Nothing rushed. Nice, smooth stuff. A follows B and leads to C. Vanessa continuing to play defense, keeping the shields up, making Pink work for every touch."

Tess: "Pink's put this on cruise control, Mac. Just letting this come to her."

McCarthy: "And Minnillo's doing her Bonecrusher Smith imitation, just trying to survive to the final bell."

Tess: "She hasn't gone the distance in three years. Maybe that's a valid goal at this point."

O'Dell: "And Pink not showing a lot of concern about letting Vanessa achieve it. She's in command again, controlling Vanessa, moving her around the ring, keeping her defensive. Minnillo takes the odd opportunity to punch, but she continues to take few if any challenges with the Front Streeter. Pink not bothering to send people forward at this point, working, but doing so like she has the three-goal second half lead she's got."

Cassie: "And the Front Street corner seems perfectly happy with what their fighter's doing..."

McCarthy: "THAT corner has the kind of brain power that's happy with a rattle and a cup of dry Cheerios..."

Tess: "Every once in a while, she lands one, doesn't she, Cassie?"

Cassie: "About as often as Earth has an ICE AGE, but, yes..."

McCarthy: "Scabbo, I SWEAR..."

O'Dell: "Final seconds ticking away with Pink cruising to another shutout victory. There's the bell, and it's Pink 80-72 with two to go."

ROUND NINE:

O'Dell: "Ninth round begins with a Minnillo flurry! Vanessa coming out of her shell and coming after Pink! And we've got a prize fight on our hands as Pinkness fires right back!"

McCarthy: "About time! Got to go get her!"

O'Dell: "Minnillo lettin' 'em fly for the first time since the early rounds! Pink answering in kind! Both ladies landing good, crisp stuff. Vanessa coming forward now. Pink not willing to retreat and the result is flurry after flurry, both women putting punches together and struggling for every inch of canvas."

Tess: "Minnillo with nothing to lose here, but Pink probably shouldn't be standing in there at this point..."

McCarthy: "I'd do the same thing. No way am I running from this girl. If she wants to fight, let's fight."

O'Dell: "And that's EXACTLY what's happening. Best two-way action of the fight sees Minnillo landing good right hands and the lefty Pink firing back with heavy lefts. And Pink pressing down on the pedal now, upping the pressure and backing Minnillo up for the first time in the round. Vanessa still firing away, not willing to go over to the defensive, but Pink slowly, gaining control despite Minnillo's bitter resistance. Final seconds ticking away and both ladies still banging home clean stuff right to the bell!"

Tess: "Crowd liked it and letting the fighters hear it on the way back to the corners."

McCarthy: "Nice guts and effort from Minnillo, but Pink still won the round."

Cassie: "Which makes it 90-81 with three minutes to go."

ROUND TEN:

O'Dell: "Tenth round begins with ANOTHER Minnillo flurry. Vanessa AGGRESSIVE out of the gate again, forcing Pink to cover up. Minnillo showing some nice combination punching. Pink showing movement now, circling, making Vanessa turn."

McCarthy: "Smart for Pink. No sense slugging in the tenth. Nothing to gain. Minnillo, though, wants to GET a round here if nothing else."

O'Dell: "Vanessa still aggressive, but short on a lot of stuff now, as Pink's angling her up and getting off with both hands. Vanessa unable to square up and Pink slowly regains control, Mac."

McCarthy: "Same stuff we saw from Pink early. Working just as well now. Vanessa's not going into a shell at this point, but Pink's outboxing her again."

O'Dell: "Pink slipping Vanessa's left and landing in combination, slipping a right hand counter then circling right. Minnillo still working hard to square up as we enter the final minute of the fight."

Tess: "Well, you can question some things about Vanessa Minnillo, but, after this one, heart isn't one of those things. She's competing right to the end."

O'Dell: "No question of that. Still working hard despite the scorecards and the lateness of the hour. Pink still working as well. On cruise control now. Easy breezy stuff. Getting to spots, scoring, moving. Final seconds tick off and there's the bell."

Tess: "Pink pitches the 10-0 shutout..."

McCarthy: "Sure does."

Cassie: "100-90. Don't see THAT score very often."

Tess: "And Pink not normally a huggy type girl, but there's a nice, respectful touch 'em up after the bell."

O'Dell: "The decision being announced and the judges concur with our ladies. Your winner by UD 10, 'The Queen of Front Street', PINK!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I've got our winner, Pink, and, Pinkness, some mutual respect at the end?"

Pink: "Look, give this girl credit. She came in here on short notice, took a fight as a heavy underdog, and she didn't just come here to collect a check. She came to show some people some things. She fought hard for ten rounds, and she never quit, so, yeah. I respect that."

Tess: "So, what's next for you?"

Pink(smiling): "Well, management's going to decide that, but Pinkness may have a suggestion or two, you know?"
