Before: Former stable mates and sparring partners produce electric staredown as Leanne gets right into Michelle's face to get the crowd going. Identical styles, but Williams the more proven commodity - hard to imagine a more personal confrontation. Red sports bra, white Adidas terrycloth trunks for Michelle, white sports bra light blue trunks for Leann.

During R1: Mirror image girls go forehead to forehead center ring and its Leanne getting off first and last to Mish's rib cage in the exchanges. Very busy Rimes working out of the guard to rip alternating uppercuts into the body and chin, using her head roughly against Michelle's face to back her fellow blonde up. Round to Leann as harsh words are exchanged at the bell.

R2, 3: Head to head rounds again, very little movement, but its Williams posting back to back shutouts as she pounds away on outgunned Rimes this round. Rimes wanting to trade, but she's getting clouted hard to the ribcage from William's swarming attack, and walked to the ropes for lengthy shove and slug sessions. Williams methodical, saving her best leveraged punches for Leann's pudgy belly, and Rimes grimacing, folds forward to give Michelle free shots to the sides as Williams bodies up.

R4: Rimes now working in a chopping right to Williams’ ear, forces her blonde backwards and retakes the initiative as both girls continue to pound away. By the middle minute, Rimes works Williams over, locking up the Michelle's right arm and swatting with rights, then alternating to hold and hit from the other side. Williams bogging down, taking shots, and a three punch salvo low to the trunks leaves her breathless against the ropes at the bell. Rimes taunting a hunched over, hurting Williams at the break as the ref pushes Leann back.

R5: Williams looking a little lethargic, and leaning forward, takes repeated uppercuts to her bra and mouth as Leann steps back, turning her shoulders into curling lefts and rights. Williams fighting in spurts - Rimes heaping on the punishment looks good through 5.

R6: Williams starting to bob up and down, dips under William's hacking hook and comes back with vicious rips to the trunk line to turn the fight around. Short, gouging left hooks to the belly have Leann visibly hurting, and Williams takes over, palming up on Rimes' shoulders, dipping and hooking, forcing Rimes up against the ropes. Good up tempo beat down from Michelle as she hammers Rimes glassy eyed this round.

R7: Rimes disheartened, fades to the ropes with a sick expression and Mish walks her down, still bobbing up and down and RIPPING to that suspect gut. Leann groaning, clinching at every opportunity - her legs trembling as Williams wades in lays waste to the hips and stomach of her foe. Rimes fighting desperately, but it's all arm punching as she slashes with uppercut's inside - Mish taking the punches flush and ignoring them, turning her hips into crushing body shots that have Leann shouting in pain by the bell.

R8, 9, 10: Destruction of Leann Rimes as Michelle Williams stalks her all over the ring, going to the body with both hands until Rimes can't take it, staggers away or clinches for breaks. Williams dispensing working woman's justice every time Rimes tries to foul, answering every low blow with an immediate response in kind. Rimes a desperate victim, no longer a factor by the tenth, stumbling in retreat and the fight ends with a sustained beating along the ropes, Williams digging her forehead into Leanne's chest and POUNDING away with both hands into Leann's waist. All Williams to the bell as she muscles Leanne's arms out of the way, budges her back and rotates her shoulders into murderous body shots that have Leann crying in pain at the final bell. Michelle Williams by unanimous decision.

After: Williams following her beaten foe all over the ring, heaping verbal abuse on her battered opponent as Rimes refuses to make eye contact while seconds flood the ring. Second fight almost breaks out between entourages as feelings run high in the aftermath of what became a solid Michelle Williams victory. Rimes not rugged enough in the trenches, lost the fight between the ears as Williams out-toughed her.
