Holly Willoughby returns to action after almost six months out and it's perhaps surprising someone of the blonde presenter's chest values doesn't try her chances at the recently formed JMD division within BBU but as Denise van Outen reports, there's a shortage of opponents in the lighweight division right now with Holly openly questioning the skills of PageThree models who remain an obvious target for this kind of action. Whether Holly just wants to annoy them and lure into fighting without preparation is up for a debate but Claire Cooper responds to the blonde's challenge and it's a welcomed return for the dark-haired Hollyoaks actress who beat Danni Wells last year but couldn't find more opportunities since then.

"I guess it's down to the fact Jennifer Metcalfe takes all the spotlight away from me", a visibly animated Cooper explains to van Outen before the fight. "But tonight I'm gonna show everyone why I'm the best brunette TV actress at lightweight and I need to apologize Holly already but I will simply beat the stuffing out of her in the ring!" Several whistles around the Cardiff Arena are heard when Claire threatens to rough the blonde up and one must suspect there are quite a few fans of Willoughby's cleavage among the audience much to the brunette's anger. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls were absent from the ring for quite some time and it shows in the opening round as they thump each other in ferocious fashion; Claire has the easier target with Holly's chest but it's an obvious tactics and the blonde responds by swinging her foe's dark ponytail around her neck as she cracks a jabbing combo on the cheeks and outworks Cooper in close range, reels her back towards the ropes with heavy slugging and pierces the guard repeatedly to the point Claire yelps out in frustration and begins circling away from the presenter's striking zone. Holly shows more will to punish the other girl and keeps hassling the actress for remainder of the round with Claire being forced to settle down and seek her rhythm in mid-distance.

Round 2:
Holly keeps harrassing the brunette and beats her for the opening punch, lands another jab on the cheek and follows up on the temple as Cooper's jug maulling efforts go awry once again and she's forced to cover up with Willoughby bashing her on the ribcage and staggering in the middle of the ring. Quick uppercut splits the brunette's mitts and she eats a cross-hooking combo on the chin moments later as Holly barks in delight, thumps the actress on the eye and wobbles her towards the ropes, ducks underneath a wide hooking response and nails Claire on the chest with a left hand... Cooper spins towards the ropes and as she turns back at her nemesis, gets tagged on the nose with another left hand as Holly whips overhand assault and pins the brunette on the ropes, whacks her between the gloves and snaps the head back and the crowd enjoys the buxom blonde laying more leather into her opponent as Claire's trapped on the ropes and simply can't live with the Willoughby's high-tempo onslaught.

Round 3:
Cooper's visibly annoyed by the poor start to this bout and lashes out after the blonde, finally manages to clip the jugs and seeks more midriff damage but Willoughby's over the top response swings the ponytail around again and the blonde doesn't look to be bothered by Claire trying to pound her chest flat, flicks another uppercut between the arms and nails the Hollyoaks babe on the chin; sags her on the knees and forces to cover up but then switches low and bats away at her stomach. Cooper tries to clinch, wraps her arms around the blonde's neck but gets thumped on the ribs and simply shoved into the ropes as the presenter shows superior strenght and wrestles the brunette against the turnbuckle, slams her on navel and shrugs her off without the ref's help, swings another uppercut on the jaw and splits Cooper's mitts, fires away from point blanks range and gives the brunette a bloody nose as a series of jabs just smash Claire's face and leave her on wobbly knees... Holly notices her increasing advantage, makes use of her chest and presses a cumbersome opponent against the turnbuckle and Cooper struggles to regain her breath at the bell with Willoughby showing her how it's done in BBU!

Round 4:
The Hollyoaks girl still refuses to accept Willoughby's superiority and squares up to her but is forced back quickly as Holly whacks her between the arms and bothers the wounded nose again. Claire was patched up during the interval but it's for no use as repeated strikes now are aimed at the weak spot and as the brunette becomes over protective high, Holly switches downstairs in the second minute of the round and further softens her rival up by pounding away at her tummy. Cooper can't remain silent anymore, winces in pain as she gets clobbered back to the ropes with Holly swinging around the head, faking a low switch and finally nailing the actress on the chin on the two minute mark. Claire sags on the ropes, tries to leap to the side but gets nailed on the nose one more time and Willoughby powers through the aching guard, snaps the brunette's head back several times as Claire just can't escape from the trap she's been dragged to, drops her arms and has no response when the blonde bursts her nose into a bloody river... Holly wants more! She cracks another uppercut on the jaw and just slumps Cooper's head on her shoulders as the Hollyoaks girl looks to be knocked out cold and CRASHES FACE-FIRST ONTO THE CANVAS as the blonde's feet and it's a vicious and bloody KO4 Holly Willoughby!!!

AFTER: Holly's not Welsh but gets a massive cheer from the crowd and shakes her glove in delight after completing a tremendous comeback tonight. She has beaten Christine Bleakley and Micaela Schaefer before but never is such a brutal and convincing fashion. She simply battered Claire Cooper into a bloody pulp! Once the first rush of adrenaline disappears, Holly realizes that Claire left bloody stains on her yellow bikini top and allthough she's upset at first, she quickly signals for the fellow journalists to take some really good pics of these battle marks. It's certainly good enough to make the national news!

Back in the BBU TV booth Denise van Outen seems to be the only one concerned about Claire Cooper's physical shape and a quick medical report indicates the proud brunette escaped this gruesome contest without a broken nose which van Outen originally suspected. Claire looked very good against Danni Wells last year but had nothing for the other blonde tonight and one must think the long inactivity period did her absolutely no good and she was very fortunate to leave Cardiff with only some deep cuts. Apparently that doesn't bother Jennifer Metcalfe though who expressed her joy over the final outcome of this bout on twitter and perhaps we haven't heard the last of the best TV brunette lightweights around the country.
