BBU STABLE WAR: LATIN UNION VS THE SATURDAYS

(Latin Union vs Double Boxing A/The Saturdays)

So, the matchup is till alive at 2 –1 to The Saturdays – who can be confident that serial loser Frankie will close it down against Cristina, despite the 17 year age gap?

Cristina battered Cheryl Cole senseless in the match against Girls Aloud – Frankie hasn’t got a great record. Will this be a formality for the Italian?

Frankie’s in the ring already, the pretty brunette in a black bikini, gloves and boots, but here comes Cristina, tonight in a white bra, scarlet microskirt, white gloves, scarlet boots with white laces – she’s still got appeal at 41!

Round 1

The girls are slowly settling down with Frankie testing Cristina early, sending a couple of fairly innocuous punches towards the Italian’s face, which the older girl shrugs off, sneering at Frankie, who comes in again, lands a puffy right hook to Cristina’s mouth, then eats two savage punches from Cristina, a right hook, then a left, and she’s rocking already! In comes Cristina to attack for the first time – and she’s just crashing punches into Frankie’s face one after another! Already The Saturdays girl seems to have blood on her features, and there’s no respite at this stage with the cruel older singer seeming to want a very quick win in this one – now Frankie gets to hold, peeping over Cristina’s shoulder, bleeding from her nose, just about getting through the opening round intact.

Round 2

Cristina pours into Frankie from the start, but Frankie’s defending pretty much alright, and now she’s taking evasive action, almost running, but this may help to tire Cristina, as she forces the Italian to run after her, the Brit now stopping, playing peek-a-boo through her gloves, and this isn’t popular with the Milanese fans. The referee’s telling Frankie to fight, and now she snaps out a jab, which Cristina parries, then she skips away, avoiding the older girl’s lunging response. Frankie throws another jab, but it comes up short, and now Cristina decides to take matters into her own hands, and, despite taking two or three of Frankie’s punches, she thuds her gloves home on the younger girl’s face, and down she goes! Frankie looks quickly at her corner, her nose bleeding badly now, and gets to her feet at 7, only to see Cristina ready for her again, the Italian swinging a right hook over her guard, staggering her, and leaving her wounded and helpless at the bell.

Round 3

Frankie’s left eye is closing, and her nose is still bleeding as she takes to the ring again – and Cristina’s got her on her radar already, hitting her to the body for almost the first time in this fight, Frankie gasping, not running in this round, and she’s unable to stop the right hook, left hook, right hook volley to her face that finishes her off.

Result: Cristina Scabbia knocked Frankie Sandford out in round 3.

Was that as easy for Cristina as the result suggests? It was probably easier!

And it’s tied this match up at 2 – 2.
