BBU FIGHT NIGHT IN CARDIFF

(Girls Friday vs Fight Club UK)

Kaya is not happy to have been offered the fight with Danielle, telling BBU TV, “I’ve beaten Clara Morgane and Imogen Thomas – and what’s my reward? Another virtual rookie – and one who hasn’t even got a decent win on her CV! I’ve got nothing against the girl – but I’ve got to beat her up! If Taryn Terrell wasn’t so busy feuding with Gail Kim, maybe she’d look after her stable better!” Danielle is unfazed by this slight, “I’ve won four from five, and have learned my trade – Kaya needs to be careful, because I can stop her!”

Here are the girls tonight, with Danielle in a baby blue bikini, gloves and boots, and Kaya in red basque, with white knickers, gloves and boots.

Round 1

Both girls are quick on their feet, as you’d expect from a couple of fit 21 year olds, Kaya just two months older than Danielle – and it’s Kaya now, taking the fight to Danielle, going for the blonde’s face first of all, and she’s connecting well with her right jab early in the opening round – but Danielle’s giving her some back! These girls look well matched, as Danielle now pushes Kaya backwards – and she snaps a left hook over the brunette’s guard – which Kaya takes, and fires back, landing a right, then a left to Danielle’s face, taking one to the body from the blonde in return. The girls both back off, Kaya learning that Danielle deserves respect, but she bangs another firm right hand into Danielle’s mouth, which isn’t returned, and that’s the end of the first round, shaded by Kaya.

Round 2

Now the girls circle a little, each one wary of the other’s potential – but again Kaya takes the initiative, and she hits Danielle with a good, straight right hand punch, which has the blonde teetering backwards, and she has to cover up as Kaya advances on her. Kaya’s not boxing with much skill – relying on her power, and she’s unloading a lot of leather to no purpose, her punches being blocked easily by Danielle, who seizes the opportunity when Kaya’s work slows to hit her to the body – and Kaya’s backing off a little, crouching, which lets Danielle give her an uppercut to the mouth, and now two more good ones to the body – and Danielle’s turned Kaya round! The blonde has the brunette set against the ropes – and she’s giving her body some hammer in there, with Kaya making little squeaking noises, blocking around half of the punches, getting hit by the rest, as Danielle takes the round.

Round 3

So, the tactics are looking clearer, now! Kaya’s looking to knock Danielle out, but Danielle is being more traditional, intent on weakening her opponent first with body punches. And it’s Danielle who lands the first punches in this round, finding Kaya’s body straight away with her right hook, then another, Kaya twisting her body to the side – and Danielle goes at her with her left, but Kaya’s ready for that, and smacks one, two, three straight punches into her face, making the blonde stagger away, and now it’s her turn to take punishment, her gloves upside her head, but she’s left a small gap between them, and Kaya finds it with right uppercut, beautifully executed on the pretty blonde, who staggers back and into the ropes, with the brunette swiftly arriving in front of her to punch her face with two right hooks – and for the first time Danielle looks disheartened, her guard a little weaker in the closing seconds, with Kaya getting home again with a right hook.

Round 4

Danielle looks a little more confident, but she is looking a little worn around her left eye now, and she’s needing to protect that with her left glove, limiting her scope for aggression. She comes forward, though, and she’s giving Kaya some neat right hand punches to her body – but the brunette looks confident too, and she gives back more punches than she receives in a brief exchange, the exchange ending when she clubs Danielle’s mouth with another right hook, then smacks her back the other way with a left, and the blonde is looking in real trouble, staggering backwards and bouncing into the ropes – Kaya gets in close, and gives her a stiff short left hook which undoes her and sends her to the canvas, the pretty blonde hauling herself upright at 7, but looking slightly dazed as the referee tells the girls, “Box!” Kaya reacts much more quickly, and she rifles a left jab through Danielle’s guard, now hooks her again with her right, and again, the blonde now teetering, looking on the brink of hitting the floor again – but the bell brings another round to a close, Kaya getting on top.

Round 5

Kaya begins the round looking like a girl in a hurry, and she’s laying into Danielle who can’t get off the ropes in the early moments of the round, just has to cover up with the brunette unloading. But Kaya isn’t landing her crispest shots here, and Danielle is managing to stop the worst of them from finding her face, although she isn’t offering much back in terms of punching. Still Kaya aims punches at Danielle’s face, and still the blonde defends – her body’s looking vulnerable to attack, but Kaya’s showing her lack of experience here, just focussing on knocking her opponent out, despite her corner screaming at her to switch her attack, and now Danielle holds and clinches, her chin resting on Kaya’s shoulder, the bruising clear to see around her left eye and her jawline. The referee breaks the girls, and Danielle gamely hits at Kaya’s body, but the brunette shrugs off her efforts with disdain, and snaps Danielle’s head backwards with a good left uppercut leaving the blonde dazed at the end of a one-sided round.

Round 6

Danielle has a mountain to climb if she’s going to get back into this fight, and she’s trying to do just that! Kaya hits Danielle first in this round, a snappy left hook to the jaw, but Danielle is immediately busy, and she’s giving Kaya more than she wants in terms of punishment to her body, the brunette looking shocked as she gets whacked to both sides of her abdomen, and now she’s having to clinch and hold to relieve the pressure, letting the referee part her from Danielle, to whom she mutters, “Fair play girl! You’re a tough ‘un!” The girls look at each other briefly, and now Kaya steams back into Danielle, swiping her face with a pair of right hooks, and just for once she goes for the blonde girl’s body, thudding two left handers into her belly, good punches that hurt and slow a girl down, and this pair seems to have taken a bit more fight out of the blonde, who gasps and holds, Kaya again talking to her, “Give it up honey! I’m too much for you!” Danielle answers by giving Kaya a left hook to her mouth as the referee parts them, the brunette glaring at her, but the round ends before she can exact revenge.

Round 7

Will Danielle regret that cheek punch ‘on the break’? Kaya certainly comes forward at her with even more determination, and she looses off a big right hook immediately, Danielle’s defensive glove knocked aside as the leather flies into her face. Danielle backs off, covering up, but Kaya’s after her, and she’ really giving her some hammer now, sending her backwards with a solid left to the ribcage, following that with a punch to her flank, the blonde girl doubling over a little – she can’t stop Kaya ripping her right hook across her, the punch thrown from Kaya’s hip, so that it flies up and across her, her body hitting the floor a split second later, and she gazes up at the pouting Kaya, rolls onto her front, and pushes herself upright, her legs unsteady, thighs turned to jelly, and the referee correctly stops the fight, despite Kaya desperately trying to get at Danielle to knock her out.

Result: Kaya Scoledario stopped Danielle Harold in round 7.

Kaya overcame a tough opponent tonight – and Danielle showed great defence until the punches just overwhelmed her. Kaya’s got the announcer’s microphone, “Well done Danielle! I hope we meet again – but here’s a bit of advice! Don’t annoy me! Cos next time I really will do you some damage!”
