TESS VALMORE

PINK/ CHALKE Chalke had a considerable height advantage, but was unable to capitalize on it. It was an interesting fight, if not a little one sided. Pink managed to stay inside most of the night working on Chalke body. Not a lot of heavy slugging and there were no knockdowns. Pink got a wide decision.

DEELEY/ RUAH In the year of evaluation this was a fight that Ruah simply could not lose without going to the end of the bench. Win she did, but it wasn’t easy. There was a lot of heavy hitting in this bout. Deeley wobbled Ruah in the third. Ruah staggered Deeley in the fourth. Deeley had the lead on the cards at the end of five. The fight continued to be close with the two even at the end of eight. Daniela managed to take the last two rounds to get the decision. Again there were no knockdowns.

PARK/ MARKLE. This was Markle’s second fight. It didn’t end any better than her first. Although Markle took one round. the fight was one sided. Park hut Markle in the fifth and again in the sixth. In the seventh after handing Markle a beating, Park used a big overhand right to end the fight. Markle went down and out.

FERGIE/ MACK Heavy hitting was in style for this bout. Fergie decked Mack in the first. Mack decked Fergie in the second. The rounds were close and Fergie had the lead at the end of five. In the sixth, Mack floored Fergie again. From that point on, it was all downhill for Fergie. Mack swept the last five rounds to get a wide decision.

SEYFRIED/ RICCI The first half of this bout belonged to Amanda. She put Ricci on the canvas in the fourth. Seyfried had a wide lead at the end of five. Ricci stopped the bleeding in the sixth and hurt Seyfried in the seventh. In the eighth, a right hand counter from Ricci send Seyfried to the canvas. She managed to get to her hands and knees, but no further as she was counted out. I tend to agree with Jenny. This fight may be the one that ushers Seyfried out the door.

ROWLAND/ TORV This bout was every bit as good as the first fight between these two. Torv got off to an early lead winning the first two rounds. The third round, however, proved extremely costly to Anna, as Rowland floored her no once but three times. Rowland put Torv on the canvas again the fourth, but couldn’t finish. Torv came back to take the fifth and hurt Rowland it both the sixth and seventh. Rowland won a close eighth and Torv took the last two. Torv dominated the latter part of the fight, but couldn’t overcome the early lead that Rowland had piled up. Rowland got the decision.
