What happens if you put two feisty rappers in the ring together? We’re about to find out, as Azealia makes her BBU debut against former lightweight and bantamweight belt holder Lisa, and some of the pre-fight verbal abuse between these two has been horrid, although not as horrid as the post fight physical abuse is likely to be, especially if the American rookie pulls off a victory.

Into the ring strides Azealia, and she looks like she means business, a tough looking cookie in her black bikini, gloves and boots, which will rile Lisa, as she loves to wear black too. Tonight though, Lisa wears a white bikini with matching gloves and boots, and both girls look toned, fit and more than ready for action, straining to be let loose at each other.

Round 1

It’s no surprise that the girls treat the fightfans to a fast and furious start to this bout, and the first exchange sees Lisa landing a straight right jab in Azealia’s mouth, but the American hits back, and hits back hard, smashing Lisa with a left hook, then a right, a left cross, another right hook, and she’s hurt the former champion! Lisa staggers away, gets tagged with another right hook to the jaw – and goes down! After barely a minute, Lisa is on her back, but she’s getting up, and she’s on her feet at 7, gets smacked again by the young New Yorker, her knees quivering a little, but Lisa’s a tough cookie, and she comes back at Azealia, gives her a good one-two, then moves down south, hits her hard in the belly, sweeps a left hander across her mouth, and that sends Banks backwards into the ropes, her lip split. Lisa follows up, keen to press the younger girl to the ropes to beat her, but Azealia is riled as she tastes her own blood in her mouth, and she thuds three hard shots into Lisa’s face, and Lisa backs off, takes a hard left hook to her ribcage, which really hurts her, and Azealia turns her around, smacks a hard straight left on her shoulder, and now Azealia gives Lisa a hammering, her gloves ripping the Brit’s head left and right, and she floors her for a second time, this time with a left hook. As she rises at 8, it’s clear that Lisa’s face is swelling after that barrage of punches, and Azealia hurts her again before the bell, this time to the body, the American’s left hook cracking into Lisa’s ribcage, the former champion squealing in pain, with Azealia snarling her at the bell, “Learned your lesson yet, biitch?”

Round 2

Lisa’s been patched up after that savage opening round battering, and the second round starts just like the first, with the girls exchanging big punches, Lisa getting home with her right hook to Azealia’s jaw, but she eats a massive jab from the younger girl, then she’s hurt to the body again – that left hook to her ribcage is certainly doing a job on her, and Lisa staggers away, gasping with pain, and she’s floored again, this time it’s a right uppercut that does it – not a big one, but enough to drop her to her knees. Again Lisa gets up, this time at 7, but she looks really shaky now. It would be a brave referee who decided to stop this fight, but Lisa does not look at all good, and she’s prodded to ropes by Azealia, that straight right of hers landing in the centre of Lisa’s face, her nose and lips dribbling blood, and she looks helpless now as Azealia kind of props her up against the ropes by drilling her right onto Lisa’s left shoulder, and now she unleashes five savage left hooks to Lisa’s face, the leather really crashing in around the Brit’s right cheek and eye, and down she goes again, her face a mask of blood, because those left hooks have cut her eyebrow and her cheek open, but still she gets up, just about beating the count at 9. The referee has Lisa’s corner wipe her face, and those cuts are bad, but he daren’t stop this fight, and Azealia moves in again on a barely ready Lisa, gives her a short uppercut with her left to make sure she’s standing up straight, before she finishes her off with a right hook that sends Lisa flat on her back, unconscious, her mouthguard flying out of the ring and into the fans.

Result: Azealia Banks knocked Lisa Maffia out on round 2.

That was an incredible performance from Azealia - she destroyed Lisa from the first bell, and as the camera pans around to where other girls in the BBU bantamweight division are sitting the look on their faces is reminiscent of those when Awesome Kong smashed Gail Kim for the first time in TNA – utter shock!

The men from Azealia’s entourage are in the ring – they’re ready to claim Lisa Maffia as their prize, but the poor girl’s still unconscious, and she’s being stretchered out to an ambulance.
