BEFORE: "I'm too strong, too good for this girl," Alana asserts in prefight. "Look, she's done well against under-gunned blondes like Laura Vandervoort, but this is a huge upgrade fight from there. She's looking at a woman who can beat her on the scales, beat her on carpet, beat her in the ring...there's no competitive space you can find where Odette gets the better of me. From looks to dukes, I got this!"

Odette pursing lips, obviously doubting Alana's hold on reality. "Alana hasn't been relevant since CSI Miami," Yustman snarks, neatly dismissing De La Garza's LaO days. "Looks? Please. Alana's got soccer mom good looks now, not Hollywood Ingenue looks. Strong? Sure, she's built strong, but I'm built whippet fast and fit. During R1: Odette with the hint of a smile, loose-limbed, dukes up...she "pings" with the one-two, just reaching out and locating Alana, then lashes a hook - the left arm straight out to the side, elbow almost hyperextended as the punch whips across Alana's mouth. Odette follows up a pinging double-jab to Alana's breasts - just nudging 'em, letting 'em know Odette's there. Both women lean into sliding rights, missing over one another's right shoulders: Odette comes back with that whiplashing hook, strapping Alana across her breasts, forcing her back in alarm. That's the way of it - Odette alternating between slow, pinging touches and lashing heat: Alana looking to block-and-weave, then counter-hook Odette to ribcage.

R2: Odette continues to take it to Alana all lanky/sexy. That pinging, pushy arm jab, touching at Alana's guard or tits while Odette's pivoting clockwise. The greasy one-twos - Odette just extending her arms to touch at Alana, then twisting torso-right to lick that whip-switch hook across. Alana having trouble reading the varying speed and looks: that lashing hook's catching her savagely across mouth and breasts. Midway through, it all adds up: Alana's legs give a shimmy as she munches another hook off the one-two...she's hurt, stooping forward in earmuff. Odette opening grinning now, happy in her work. She steps close, snatching her mitts right/left off Alana's tummy - Odette clutching her fists to her breasts after scoring. Odette slides back in-stance; touches her left jab to Alana's hairline; feeds her the hot right cross; lick-snatches a tasty left hook TART off tummy. Poor Alana walking through it, trying to crowd-close, but leggy Odette won't be smothered. Rangy vixen has her way at all ranges, getting off on Alana, then stepping out, pivoting, turning De la Garza round the ring. Bell: Odette shimmies her shoulders at Alana's corner - bringing the ref in quick as tempers flare.

R3: Odette continues to vex her foe, touching and turning Alana midring. Yustman so bendy and relaxed, dukes up, elbows in...she'll mosey all leggy to her right, looking things over; step in a pinging one-two - hesitate on her lead (left) leg as Alana's forming earmuff, then; snap-snatch that whippy left hook off De la G's pampered tummy. Pinging, soft-touch pokes mix with lashing power: Odette just pasting away head and body, loving it on Alana for 2 minutes. Down the stretch, veteran gets her timing down...Alana dukes at cheeks as she weaves in under the slow one-two, then CRANKS a tight counter hook to chin! ODETTE'S STEPPING IN FENCE POST HOLES! One punch changes the fight: Yustman covering up face-in-gloves, giving away ribs/tummy on the cheap...Alana leans in, straps vicious rights and lefts to midsection/flanks, stealing the round from cramped, cringing Odette.

R4: Alana upbeat, more aggressive this round - taking the fight to Odette with a step-in swinging hook in behind right elbow/combinations at close range. Yustman lithe as she withdraws - leaning back on slender hips, pivoting around the heel of her front (left) foot...she creates effortless distance and angles with smooth transitions. Bit more spice on Odette's jab down the stretch - she's punching to leave a mark, scoring to Alana's mouth...stinging poke enables Odette to box out the round, claiming close points.

R5; Odette's pinging jab mocks Alana's tits - just tapping at 'em, brushing 'em as Odette circles clockwise. De la Garza angered, baring teeth, she tries for Odette's chin with a monstrous right, but Yustman leans out of range, pivots left and pings her jab head-and-jugs on Alana - spicing things up with the odd sliding straight right. Greasy one-twos pester Alana, forcing her into high earmuff - Odette just ping-jabbing the guard, then slotting straight right hands through to chin, often followed by the hesitation left hook whirled hot to ribs. Odette pivoting around her scores, never letting Alana key on her...De la Garza encroaching, but not comfortable enough to get off strong. Midway through, Odette straps a lanky right/left to tummy - small mitts biting into latina flesh PIK! PAK! Odette stays on front (left) leg, sweeps the left hook round Alana's right elbow; shifts weight to right leg - hesitates - fits Alana for the sneaky right uppercut to chin, then ping-jabs jugs while sliding out of range! Tasty stuff - Alana's cheek hot with shame at being outclassed...she storms up the middle, only to be sidestepped and guided face-first to ropes with Odette's hand in the small of Alana's back. Ropes: De la Garza turning in earmuff, digging in: Odette attacks the guard with a nibbling palm-down hook and short right uppercut routine, chipping away for points. Alana opens up to issue receipts, flashing the left uppercut: Odette sideslips to her right, pulling the palm-down left onto Alana's chin, cutting power to De La Garza's legs even as Alana's uppercut whiffs. Right uppercut/left hook spanks chin/cheek on Alana...she's staring, lips parting in shock. Odette double-pings a rubbery jab at Alana's mouth, then leans in close, dragging a sweeping right hand LOUD and wide to Alana's ribs! De la G sits in ropes, sobbing in pain: Odette presses close, left forearm bracing inside Alana's right shoulder - Yustman's left hand cupping Alana's ear. Right uppercuts from Odette - she's laying in almost forehead to forehead, chipping away righty on the chin...poor Alana sponging it up, eyes glazing over and the REF STEPS IN! Odette shouting "HAH!", slamming a cheap right forearm smash into Alana's helpless breasts in triumph - TKO5 Odette a strong win against a bigger girl.

AFter: Odette beaming...she got the stoppage and looked lithe, supple doing it. "Lots of girls win ugly," Odette smiles, "but I'm not one of them. I like to dress my opponents up - really showcase on 'em. Alana got to see my legs tonight, see my moves...and it broke her heart. I'm too bendy for mommy - De la Garza couldn't have captured me in her prime, much less post-kid. Wicked win for me - I feel like that was just the thing to help me keep pace with my rivals. Let's see Yvonne Strahovski stop Alana de La Garza! I seriously doubt it would happen!"
