After her defeat by Havana Brown in The Ashes, Jade returns to domestic duty against teenager Amelia, who was doing so well until she ran into the wrecking machine that is Mikie Hara, the Japanese girl who now possesses the BBU flyweight belt.

Amelia enters the ring first, the pink-haired kid in a red bodice with matching knickers, gloves and boots. Jade joins her in a black leather outfit with matching gloves and boots.

Round 1

Amelia’s making the better start, working well around the ring, using her strong legs to get leverage on a pair of heavy left hooks which she smacks on Jade’s face, the older girl having to backpedal, against her instincts. Jade’s looking to land shots on Amelia’s body now, but the teenager’s keeping mobile, staying safe, not risking a toe to toe with Jade. Suddenly Jade attacks, hits Amelia to the belly, which seems to stop her in her tracks, and follows up, hitting the kid in the mouth – but Amelia comes back well, swings another left hook up and into Jade’s face, and that seems to have hurt the older girl, who again backs away, Amelia following as she gets her girl on the ropes, only for Jade to smacks her hard to the ribs in the closing seconds to remind the teenager she’s still there.

Round 2

The girls are still looking comfortable, and again Amelia takes the initiative, working Jade backwards across the ring, aiming to give her a beating up against the ropes – but Jade’s not letting the teenager push her that far back, and she stands and trades with the pink-haired girl, lashing her across the jaw with a right hook before snapping her head back with three short uppercuts, Amelia staggering, then turned by the brunette, who gives her a swift left hook to the belly, and follows up with a good one in the ribs, and another to the jaw, Amelia suddenly in trouble, and having to hold. Even in a clinch, Jade hits Amelia to the body, giving her a bit of a softening up now, and clearly dominant at the bell.

Round 3

That battering to her body seems to have taken it’s toll on Amelia, who clearly isn’t keen to get involved with another trade just yet. She’s keeping Jade out of range as the round starts, poking out a reluctant jab to keep her there, then she almost hugs the older girl when she gets in close enough to land to the body again, not letting her dole out any punishment to her ribcage. The referee’s parting and resetting the girls, beginning to lose [patience with Amelia – and so is Jade, who now launches at her after they are reset for a third time, giving her a hard left hook to the liver, Amelia squealing, dropping back, then getting caught with Jade’s right hook on her cheek, not quite timed, but landing well enough to put Amelia on her butt, getting to her feet at 7. The only good news for Amelia is that the round has now ended.

Round 4

Jade starts the round quickly – but she’s a little too keen to put Amelia away, and many of her punches are being blocked by the youngster, who is again frustrating Jade. The brunette really wants to give the kid some punishment, but she’s not getting the chance, as Amelia ties her up again, keeping her at bay by almost wrestling her. Jade’s frustration gets the better of her, and she throws a couple of wild punches, takes a couple in return, and has to back away. She’s more or less inviting Amelia to come at her, but the teenager holds off, and. Sensing the fans restlessness, Jade again swings at Amelia, this time catching her a glancing blow to the jaw, getting enough leather on skin to have the kid leaning against the ropes as the round ends.

Round 5

Jade is being a little more careful now, and she looks all the better for it, on her toes, snapping jabs off and into Amelia’s face, and these tactics are worrying the teenager more than the brawling style, as she cannot get in tight enough to clinch. Jade’s switched to southpaw now, and her right jab is beginning to find it’s target all too often, Amelia unable to get out of it’s way, and the girl is starting to bruise up nastily around her left cheek, and now she takes a left hook to the mouth as well, and she’s finding herself backed up to the ropes, where Jade starts to work on her body again, picking her defences apart, and hurting her, the pink-haired girl looking dejected as the round ends.

Round 6

Again Jade’s got that right jab smacking into Amelia’s face, and the kid’s really starting to look messed up as the leather glove does it’s work on her face, her skin bruising badly, and she’s cut as well now – Jade’s opened her cheek up nicely there, and that’s distracting the teenager from defending herself properly as Jade whacks her hard to the body with both gloves, Amelia hardly knowing where to put her gloves and arms next as she feels the blood trickle down her cheek, and now she takes a ferocious flurry to the face, and now there’s more blood there, because Amelia’s bleeding from her nose as well now, but it’s the body punching which is causing her most bother, Jade giving her two straight punches to the belly, and Amelia’s struggling to stay up as another painful round ends.

Round 7

Amelia’s looking rather battered now, and her left eye is giving her trouble – but not as much trouble as Jade Ewen’s giving her, the brunette again clubbing away at her ribcage, and now she smacks that right jab into Amelia’s damaged cheek again, the teenager toppling backwards, takes a glancing blow with Jade’s left hook, but it catches her off balance and puts her down. Amelia gets to her feet at 6, but the referee’s seen enough. And calls a halt to what became a one-sided fight.

Result: Jade Ewen stopped Amelia Lily Oliver in round 7.

Jade isn’t quite ready for a title shot yet – but she’s close. As for Amelia? She’s young, and she’ll recover, although Cristina Scabbia is being lined up as her next opponent.
