Pippa has not fought this year, having been busy up to then her career declining after reaching a high when knocking out Lisa Maffia. Natalie hits hard – but she’s hittable, too, as Sarah Harding proved in their recent fight.

Natalie enters the ring first, looking fit in red hotpants with matching bikini top, gloves and boots. Pippa’s in her customary white one piece with matching gloves and boots.

Round 1

Natalie’s making a good start, and she’s already finding Pippa’s face with her thudding hooks, popping the older girl’s head backwards and sideways, and she’s moving her backwards to the ropes so easily – lands another sharp punch to wobble Pippa, and flashes a left hook at her mouth. Pippa fights back, getting herself off the ropes by smacking her own punches firmly into Natalie’s face, and the actress is in retreat, her gloves not stopping Pippa’s progress as the older girl peppers her with straight punches to her face, and she’s taking control as the round draws to a close, hits the actress in the belly, grins a little, but takes a solid left, right combination to her own face right on the bell, which wipes the smile away.

Round 2

Having recovered from an early barrage in the opening round, Pippa steadies herself for some similar treatment in this one, but instead Natalie waits for her to make the first move – and she does, whipping a good right hook into the actress’s body, then double jabbing her face, sending her back a pace or two. Encouraged by her success, Pippa closes in to follow up on those punches – but Natalie is waiting, ignores the left jab which lands in her mouth, and hooks Pippa to the face with either hand, spots that her gloves have come up too high in defence, and hammers her ribcage, one, two, three, four shots ripping in, and Pippa folds over a crumples to the canvas, gasping for breath. Pippa’s up at 7, blowing hard, and she gets a good smack in the mouth immediately, staggers back, feels the ropes on her back, and Natalie’s gloves in her flanks, as those hooks batter her body again, Pippa again slumping to her knees in front of the actress, regaining her feet at 8 this time, and gamely defending for the final seconds.

Round 3

Already it’s a weary Pippa who starts again, and Natalie comes after her, slots her with a good jab, then another, and now she’s back down and after the older girl’s body, whips a left hook in around the liver, now thuds a right into the ribcage, a left into the belly, before right crossing her face, Pippa drifting helplessly to the ropes. Natalie arrives a split second later, and she lifts Pippa’s head up with a short arm uppercut, before returning to punish that bodywork of hers, the read leather banging repeatedly into the white lycra of her bodysuit. This time Pippa manages to hold, which seems to suit Natalie, the actress leaning on her, getting her breath back, too, and it’s a struggle for the referee to part them – now he has, and Natalie hits Pippa hard with her left hook, spinning her back to the ropes, banging her head back with a couple more straighter punches, and it’s a very unsteady Pippa who finds her stool at the bell.

Round 4

Natalie’s ready before the bell rings, and she’s soon in action on a now stationary Pippa, the socialite not looking at all happy with life as the actress hits her in the body again, before testing her out with a swift one-two to the face, which results in Pippa teetering backwards. Natalie seems to make sure she has the girl at her mercy, and now unloads two heavy right hooks to her face before finishing the job off with a sweeping left hook – Pippa hits the canvas hard, and isn’t moving as the refree administers the final count.

Result: Natalie Gumede knocked Pippa Middleton out in round 4.

Should Pippa have made a comeback to BBU action? She took a bad beating from a rising star tonight, and Natalie certainly dished out the punishment, but she still seems vulnerable in defence.
