BBU FRIDAY THE 13TH CARD

These girls have long been rivals, so it’s good to know that they’re ready to fight each other.

Gemma is keen to get her BBU career moving forwards, after suffering defeats by Charlotte Church and Emma Glover, with Roxanne making her first appearance for a year.

Gemma’s first into the ring in a white bikini, gloves and boots, with Roxanne in a red bikini, gloves and boots.

Round 1

There’s a little sparring in the opening seconds, but the action soon starts, with Gemma taking the initiative, her punches landing in little flurries around Roxy’s cheeks, very quickly reddening her skin. Roxy needs to clinch if she can, because she’s getting a good hiding in this opening round, with Gemma finding it much too easy to hit her, the blonde girl’s left jab just peppering her pretty face at the moment, and she’s already got a little smear of blood around her nostrils, and now Gemma’s got her right cross picking the brunette off, keeping her constantly going backwards, looking for somewhere to hide, and she looks decidedly shabby at the end of this opening round.

Round 2

Gemma’s right on Roxanne’s case here, and she’s got that snapping jab of hers teeing off into the brunette’s face, gives her a right hook in the flank to go with it, a good straight left to the mouth, the right cross to the cheek to follow up, and Roxanne’s down! The brunette’s been dropped to her knees with that shot, but she’s up again at 7, ready to face a now rampant Gemma, who’s coming in to try to finish her rival off, whipping right hand punches into her face in quick succession, and she hits her in the belly with her left this time, Roxanne kind of folding over, her face unprotected, and Gemma swipes in a swift one-two, Roxanne dropping back to her knees immediately, just unable to take this pressure. Again, the brunette’s up at 7, but she’s looking really weak, and it’s only the clock which prevents Gemma putting her down again.

Round 3

It’s Gemma all the way now, drilling punches between Roxanne’s fragile defence, her punches now smacking the older girl’s head back again and again – now she hooks her to the ribs, now to the face, and Roxanne’s on her side on the canvas this time, rolling over, and pushing herself upright at 8. But she’s no way able to continue in this fight, and the referee quickly steps in and lifts Gemma’s hand in victory.

Result: Gemma Bissix stopped Roxanne McKee in round 3

It has to be said that this was a surprisingly easy win for Gemma, the blonde simply carrying too much firepower for Roxanne, and maybe Gemma’s more of a contender than her recent results suggest?
